I sure do wish someone with the inside scoop would let some details about Tom slip out. Katie's parents probably don't want to talk because it would comprmise their relationship with their daughter/grandaughter, and Nicole doesn't talk because of her kids with Tom. Although, honestly, I don't think he could harm her relationship with her kids anymore than he has already done, they don't even refer to her as Mom.

I think that it is silly to think that Cruise's cousin provided the sperm just because the baby resembles him. Isn't his cousin part of his gene pool? The baby could look totally like him and still be Tom's.

I still think that there is something really strange about Tom's and Katie's relationship. He's way too eager to have photo ops. Perhaps, it is he who is really trying to keep his cult in the limelight. Maybe, that's part of his responsibilities when you get to a high position there.

Probably true Nan, I definitely don't think she looks like Klein and the family genes could just be coming through. Suri does look like her uncle, though. Still, Nic apparently got pregnant by Tom a couple times, so...anyway, I've never thought he was gay, maybe experimented some, thus the rumors. The worst thing is all the Scientology weirdness. It just sounds awful and not just the Morton stuff. We've heard enough about their tactics, elsewhere, and on this board, too, from people who have experienced it firsthand. I have always said the way Tom hangs onto Katie physically is so controlling, and weird too. And she has changed in affect and appearance, so much.

I dunno. I am totally buying into the Mapother thing. It sounds JUST crazy enough to be true!

When did Katie and Klein break up?

Eve

Found this: Klein and Holmes Don't Speak
17 October 2005 (WENN)
Katie Holmes and former fiance Chris Klein haven't spoken to each other since their five year relationship broke down in March, the American Pie star admits. The Hollywood couple, who got engaged in 2003, gradually grew apart and the 26-year-old reveals to Details magazine how they fell out of love with each other completely. He says, "We grew up. The fantasy was over, and reality set in. We weren't lighting each other's fire anymore."

Suri was 'allegedly' born in April 2006, so chances are that Klein's not the daddy.

That's always been my impression too. But, NOTHING and NO ONE would keep me from my kid's, I would fight for custody until the end. I imagine the kid's don't call Nicole "Mom" because they feel abandoned by her, but they are also poisoned by their Dad. What a shame, because that's going to be a problem for the kid's when they are fully grown and hopefully moved away from their Dad. What a joke they call Katie "Mom", she's been in their lives a relatively short amount of time and was what, around 10 years old when those kids were born. Tom and Katie are selfish idiots.

I don't think Katie will be around forever. He tends to cheat. Or so I hear.

A creepy clam. Honestly I think the marriage between him and Nicole broke up because she took their children to Mass. He's a creepy clam of a man with short man syndrome. Oh yeah and a Martian.

I thought their marriage broke up because of Penelope Cruz?

The way Katie acts is like her new BFF Victoria Beckham.

Well, atleast Suri is a normal toddler right now, she was having a tantrum last night. I remember when my kids did that for the first time in public, suddenly it wasn't as easy to take them out, LOL, much less predictable. New step in motherhood for Katie.:

WHY ARE THEY STILL GIVING HER A BOTTLE!!!
She should be off that thing!! We start recommended sippy cups at 12 months. Strictly. Heck, we start recommending that you can introduce them a lot earlier if the parents wish - some (a few) babies are coordinated enough to start trying (not well but trying) at 6 months if sitting up well. But usually they love their breast or bottle for many months after that. At 9 months, a lot of babies are taking a cup regularly (we start recommending at this time usually). Gosh, they are so much easier to clean too!!
LOL my pediatrician FLIPPED OUT on me when my daughter still had hers at 18 months (of course... now I know, rightfully so... but at 18 I was T.O. because I was like... can we addressed the snotty nose and fever today that I brought her in for? I was like - "I'll take it away later when she isn't dehydrated!!") But I was young. And didn't know.
Ahh, Suri - You go girl! At least she is strong willed. Maybe she can get away from that scientology crap someday.
ETA - she looks like she is wayyyy over 2. Way older than 20 months or so (me and Katie gave birth at about the same time - mine is 18 months now...).
When is Suri's B-day again?

I dont see anything wrong with an occasional bottle at her age.. My son is 17 months and he rarely has a bottle, but on nights where he is extremely fussy, I have given him a bottle of warm milk to calm him..
While I agree it is best not to have a bottle much after 12 months, I do not agree that we have to be that rigid that we have to stop allowing it on the day the turn 12 months.....
Babies aren't going to become serial killers because they had a bottle for "too long" and their teeth wont rot as long as they are not going to bed with it and they are getting their teeth brushed...

Actually I don't think he was "seeing" Penelope Cruz until way after that. I'm not sure though, MCDRAW. Meanwhile I ain't worrying about that kid having a bottle. I worry she'll trip over them long dresses they put on her. Kid has on dresses look like gown length.

I nursed all 4 of my kids. Weened them around 15 months. They never had a bottle until my husband was watching my youngest by himself and panicked when he started crying. He ran out to the neighbors and BORROWED a bottle. (ewwww)
Now my son will be 2 in a week and wants his *boo-ba*.
This little boy can count to 20 and say most of his ABC's yet when I give him his "cup" he runs to his table and takes the top off and pours his milk into his "boo-ba". He then parades around the house to show his sisters how much he loves it! LOL.

It is cute but geez...Hubby is gonna have to deal with this issue. LOL.:slap:

LOL lisa, of course not!!!
We can all be flexible.
We still give the babies up on the peds floor bottles if they want it past the age of 12 months if they are sick and that is what they want - heck, they are sick and that is their "comfort" thing, if that is how they are going to take their fluids, by no means am I going to DARE suggest taking it away!!! Guzzle it down Gus!
But they are out and about with the bottle.... that seems a bit different to me that rocking your baby to sleep with it at home. You know?

Oh Pixies! You need to video tape that! That is comedy GOLD right there!!!!!!! taking it off and pouring it in there? that is halarious!!! obviously, too old for a "boo-ba!!" if we have that much hand eye coordination!!!! hahahhahaha!!!!! :-) your story is crackin me up!
I agree... at my house, I would make daddy deal with it too! LOL!!!
I will tell you what though... my daughter taught me one thing (the kid who NEVER wanted to let go of her bottle... and the grandparents who never wanted to make her). They say you can never teach a old dog new tricks... WHATEVER. YOU can never teach a puppy new tricks either!!! I had to practically burn the thing with her by that point... and still, when I took her over there to babysit she was like four and bringing the darn thing out and teasing me with it (like a JOKE!!!) and saying "MOMMY, look what I have"!
I'm not kidding.
I'm really not as Nazi about the bottle issue as I sound. I just try to like, save people from the problems I had!

Was Tom Cruise a Scientologist during his "Risky Business" days? I just saw footage of him saluting the portrait of Ron L Hubbard. My mom says he didn't become one until much later. I didn't want to research the dude. In case anyone got the heads up. TIA.

From birth Scientologists are encouraged to feed their babies barley formula with water and all kinds of liquid vitamins mixed in. They say it's better for their health.

So- Scientologists are "advised" to keep their kids on the bottle as long as they can, typically 3 years old. My nephew is 2 and 1/2 and still gets his bottle!

Tom Cruise has been involved with Scientology since 1990.

I don't know when he became one but I saw the same creepy footage. It reminded me of the Jim Jones massacre. I can't see how Scientology ever got to be called a religion. They have no God. Seems more like a cult to me.
