Tommy Croslin claims mistreatment in Putman Jail per Att

  • #21
Tommy may have gone oh his own to talk to LE, thinking he could lie some more and get away with it. Trying to make things to go easier on himself. But looks like things didn't go as he expected.....and then comes the tales of mistreatment. I believe LE can tell you anything they want during an interrogation ..no rules on their part.
I'm sure LE knew what they were doing.

I doubt the complaint will go far..what do you think?

Dear Sheriff Hardy,

If this newest approach doesn't work, might I suggest a tried and true strategy for everyone in this case involving a board and water hose?

Wow. LE is trying to solve a MURDER of a 5 year old INNOCENT child. I could care less what LE does or doesn't do to these so-called "grownups" that were involved and/or had knowledge of her death.

I WILL keep Haleigh front and foremost on my list of importance, and to heck with all of these liars that could care less about justice for Haleigh or the value of her life!

If they were the guilty party, I could agree with you, but I don't think they are. Criminal activity is criminal activity, and I don't care who's involved. Some innocent people have gone to jail on a heck of a lot more evidence than what LE has in this case. I haven't seen anything that makes me think Tommy is guilty of Haleigh's disappearance. You can't force people into saying they are involved when they aren't! This is barbaric behavior. Excuse me, it's criminal behavior!

Let's see the video of the interrogation if Tommy's lying. Surely, they have one.......right? If they are working on a confession they would video tape it! That way, there's no doubts about the authenticity later.

If you ask me about what I think about LE and tactics, well...

Only God Can Judge Them!

I'm gonna give you my initial reaction to this newest scenario. I'm not a big believer in coincidences. What was it, 2 or 3 days ago that TC was moved to Putnam County after months at St Johns? Now, all of a sudden someone is supposedly getting rough with Mr. Croslin?

Tell you what makes more than a little sense with me. What if the real perp was in the same jail as TC? What if this real perp KNEW that TC had the goods on what and who really happened to Haleigh?

Do you think TC being treated rough might make the perp sweat a few bullets, afraid he would finally talk? Do you think it would, as Shakespeare said, "give him pause"?

I say go for it. It's worth a shot.

How about "St. Johns River Boarding"

sounds good to me!

If Tommy did not directly kill HaLeigh, then this is cruel treatment, lets see this same pressure applied to the childs father who was sending Tommy cut off rats heads and whatnot.

Putting Tommy and Ronald together in GP is a BAD idea.

If they were the guilty party, I could agree with you, but I don't think they are. LE either has blinders on, or they are inept! Criminal activity is criminal activity, and I don't care who's involved. Some innocent people have gone to jail on a heck of a lot more evidence than what LE has in this case. If Tommy hadn't failed that LTD, I might agree with you a little more, but he did fail, & we only have his ramblings about the one question, & him saying it didn't mean anything, to back up his excuses. The fact that it took him so long to take one, baffles me. Why didn't LE offer to test him, when he was arrested at the busstop? This LE trips me out, & for the record, I believe Tommy's newest allegations, but I doubt LE is doing anything illegal. It sounds like Tommy just doesn't want to talk to LE. can't say I blame him. After LE lied about him getting a deal, I think his lawyer should advise him, to not believe them again. LE shot themselves in the foot on that one. They shouldn't have let him plea, before getting the whole story & some proof. I guess they're trying to get what they can, before he goes to court. But, his allegations do make me think Misty & Ron, aren't doing much talking.

Tommy alleging that he was forcibly removed from his cell, & then denied access to his lawyer, makes me think that he said something in a meeting, that he wants to take back.

I commend LE for doing what it takes to find out the truth. If they're giving Tommy a rough time, then I hope they're also giving the same rough time to Ronald and Misty and whoever else might know what happened to Haleigh.
He's a tough guy... he can take it.
I sure won't lose any sleep over it!

If Tommy requests his attorney be present at interrogations, LE must comply. All interrogation must stop the minute the attorney's presence is requested. If LE presses on, they would be doing so illegally.

However, please do not confuse the above to mean that I believe what is being said by Tommy and/or his attorney. I suspect Werter is now having to face the fact that maybe...just maybe...Tommy might not "come out of this looking good" as Werter claimed he would back in April/May. And possibly Werter is looking for a way for Tommy to get some sympathy by making LE the villain, although that's only possible, not factual, at this point.

I agree that Ron, Misty, Tommy and whoever else KNOWS what happened to Haleigh should be pressured, hosed, pressured some more, and never get a moments peace until they fess up to what they know.

The only reason I was upset is because I cannot stand the LE bashing when we do not know the TRUE story about what really happened here.

Slightly OT...Does everyone believe all the things that Baez releases regarding Casey's "mistreatment" in jail? (not comparing Casey to Tommy, just giving an example)

Papa, not that it makes any difference, but he was moved into general population at Putnam County Jail on June 22nd. The 26th is when he was interrogated. The complaint was filed in a timely manner on June 28th. I think it's strange that he had no complaints while in St John's too, but only because he wasn't being mistreated by the people there. I'm not sure I'd be too upset if it were Ron that was being treated this way, but it's not. I think Tommy is the fall guy, and I think more and more that Ron is being protected by someone in power. Ron and Misty probably know what happened, but I see no evidence of Tommy being involved.............yet!

I have been around this case from the first day and I am not saying that Tommy necessarily killed Haleigh, but I will bet that he definitely KNOWS what happened and probably helped in the cover up of the murder of a CHILD! Remember her?
.............snipped......................................

Yes, yes, yes! I remember Haleigh and that's why I'm so upset. I don't want to just see "somebody" go to jail for whatever happened to her, I want to see THE person responsible in jail. Maybe some don't care if pressure is put on what could be an innocent party, while the one responsible goes along without a care in this world, but I do. This is just the straw that broke the camel's back as far as they way LE has conducted this entire investigation. The pressure is being put on the wrong person!

Well, I am not thinking of it so much as LE bashing. There is a complaint filed against the LE and these are the allegations, if these can be backed up and proven, then Tommy is being treated wrongly. The ball is in Werters court.
