Toms baby is here!!!!

The baby is obviously going to be short just like Tom, look how long it was. That's half the normal length for a newborn baby.

The news just said 20 inches, the normal length of most newborns.Normal range is 19 to 21,average.

:waitasec: :waitasec: :waitasec: 20 inches long is normal. Mine were 19 and 21 and both are within 'normal' height range.

Makes me sad to think Katie and her baby are separated right now! It also makes me sad to think Katie's parents In Ohio have a new granddaughter they may never see...imagine if your daughter had had a baby and was under the control of a nut like Tom Cruise and you couldn't see her? I hope Katie has talked to them, at least.

When asked how she withstood the pain, Katie replied "___ _____."

The baby is already 1/3 the height of her father!!

*sigh* How I hate this cult and what it does to the innocent families of it's members! My mother (as well as the rest of my family) got to see her grandson (my brothers child) one time in almost a year, we have never gotten a picture.. other then the couple that we took that one time! Not a phone call, a letter or even a thank you note for gifts that we have sent-- nothing!

How I wish he had never gotten involved with these freaks!

I hope "Kate" wakes up and leaves Tom before it's too late!

Don't worry. You can bet money that this baby is with her Mommy and has been since birth. The fact that this religion is "weird" to most of us doesnt out weigh the natural effects that birth has on the parents (especially the mother) this baby may have a lot to grow up with, but at least for now it is being "reacted to" as all children should be. It is being breastfed and cuddled by its mother.

What? I figured Tom would take over and do the breast feeding.

Does anyone know - was their child born in a hosptial or at home?
I too heard the news about Tom planning on eating the placenta!
Doesn't he know that the placental is usually looked at by a pathologist. First to make sure all of it has been expelled. Secondly it's checked for any types of medical problems which might occur.
Also, and I'm not sure, but aren't placentas used to grow cultures and further medical research?
But, no! Tom wants to eat it.
Get a PB&J sandwich silly guy!

People in other cultures do eat the placenta because it is full of vitimans. They make stew with it :hand: Other people...even in the USA...take it home and bury it in the flower garden!! Happened off and on when I worked at a hospital.

It wouldn't surprise me if Tom planned on taking the placenta home and making stew....just think of all those vitimans he will miss if he doesn't. All natural and healthy  Sounds to me like something the cult would be into. He might even invite John T. and Kelly over for dinner.

How come the baby wouldn't be with Katie? Do they have some weird belief about the baby and mother not being together at first or something?

Yes baby and mother are supposed to be separated for a week so the baby won't associate the trauma of birth with it's mother's voice.

I wonder how long it will be before they finally tie the knot or if at all.
