LOL...could be! There's a long list of "old dudes" who would probably make it. And then there's Joan Rivers...I won't even hazzard a guess as to what she'll be toting around on her chin if she doesn't quit lifting!
Probably 2 nipples just under her ear lobes???

OMG...thank goodness that it was only a story about a bad hairpiece. When I read the title of the thread I thought, "Ewwwww, he's fathered a child."

I read somewhere that Larry David modeled his TV Kramer after a neighbor named Kramer. Larry was working as a writer for Saturday Night Live and week after week he'd write this funny stuff...but SNL would never use his work. So he quit. Then he went over to his neighbor (Kramer) and told him what he did. Larry said he told Kramer that he quit his job and had no money, no other job prospects and now thought it was a dumb thing to do. So his neighbor Kramer told him to go back to work and act like it was just another day at work. And he did. He later wrote a storyline about this where George quits working for the Mets and then realizes that he's made a mistake...so he goes back to work at with the Mets the next day like nothing was had happened the prior day. Funny stuff...I thought.

I really like CYE because his storylines are very similar to things that have gone on in our house. I about split a seam when they did a story on the "bulging" Dockers. You know how guys sit down and it looks like there's more there or something going on? haha We've had several discussions about that subject.

In fact, almost every show hits on something we are doing or dealing with in our lives. Larry David just gets to say what I wish I could. And I love the gal who plays his wife (I wonder if she's his wife in real life?). I don't know how she keeps a straight face through all of Larry's antics. lol

And who can forget...Festivus for the Rest of Us! Gotta love Frank. :)

Hi Beaches :)

Yeah, I've seen the guy who Kramer was modelled on...

That episode was freakin' hilarious....George cracks me up, he's got no shame that guy, there's a little bit of George Costanza in everyone lol

So many story lines from Seinfeld have happened to me like you say...I can't think of any right off the top of my head but I've often times said 'this reminds me of an episode of Seinfeld' lol

Festivus for the rest of us is my all time favourite episode!!
That is sooo funny :D

Hi Narla, he has been to Oz a couple of times, he was preety out there. lol

I saw him on Bert a few years back. :)

I never was a big fan of Seinfeld but one episode that cracked me up was  "shrinkage" now that was too funny!

I love CYE, it has been on here late at night, I haven't seen it for awhile though.

I'm not right up on tv, if it's not on 10 or the ABC, I miss it..
And even if it is on those channels I could still miss it..
I wasn't sure if we had it here or not, thanks for that Shelley, I'll keep my eye out for it, what channel do you remember?

I loved that episode. The shrinkage thing was really a hoot.

Last night I was watching one of the CYE episodes (that I've TiVo'd) and the girl that walked in on George was in this CYE episode. I also was watching Seinfeld last night (a Christmas episode) and saw Larry David in it. From what I gather, I think the character George is based on Larry. Larry gets flustered when people tell him George is an idiot.

A couple of years ago, we were looking for another fake Xmas tree. After looking around at several, hubby said..."Why don't we just get a pole and celebrate Festivus. It would be a lot easier." I thought it was funny...but he wasn't off the hook. We finally found the perfect tree. :)

Actually, my all-time favorite show is Will & Grace. I'm a lot like Karen. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. lol

I've often thought about having Festivus instead of Christmas, the airing of the greivances sounds like it could be fun....lol

I don't watch Will and Grace, so I don't know if thats a good thing or not either lol

Hey Narla :)

I tried to post this yesterday, this was when I knew something was not right. lol

It was on Ch 9 and it was on after something I taped, can't remember now. I started watching it when the other show finished and loved it, taped it a few times because it was on so late and then it went poof, as a lot of shows do on Ch 9.

We get the Herald every Sunday and I peruse the TV guide for anything on at some random hour, so I will let you know if I see it.

Thanks Shelley, I wondered if you had been back here :)

I hardly ever watch 9 even though it is our highest rating channel, I only watch a few tv shows and most of them are on 10 or the ABC, SBS is good too...

I hope its still on....:)
