Toronto mayor admits crack use

If you look down the list of comments in the original YouTube posting - by user "Toronto TheCity" - there's a link to an Instagram photo.
Twenty minutes ago that link brought you to a pic of Ford wearing the exact same clothes, presumably in the same Steak Queen, standing between to young guys. The comments section of that photo was filled with requests from reporters of various news organizations asking to get in touch with the poster, who went by the name HermanAtwal (?)

I can't be completely certain about the spelling of that user because in the twenty minutes that have gone by, the pic has been taken down. At about 4:25 pm EST It showed as being originally posted "16 hours ago".

The mayor admitted he was drinking alcohol. "A little bit, yeah," he told reporters. He had pledged numerous times he does not drink anymore, after revelations in 2013 of his crack use while in office.

When asked if his Jamaican accent was offensive, he said no. "I met some friends. If I speak that way, that's how I speak with some of my friends and no, i don't think it's discriminative [sic] at all," he said. "It's my own time."

Ford would not say who drove him to the Steak Queen.

I was just going to post that Matou! There's no way a driver or his friend let him walk into a public place drunk. He drove himself IMO.

Alex Nassim, a manager at the Steak Queen restaurant in Etobicoke, said that he was told by a night-shift worker that Mayor Ford was at the restaurant last night. The restaurant is the same one mentioned in a police document late last year, after an undercover police officer watched Mayor Ford and Mr. Lisi eat there together. In the police document, officers said Mayor Ford and his companions “appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and or drug but not to the state of impairment.”

I am in agreement with some others that think he's under the influence of more than just alcohol.

He's a big guy, plus he would have a high tolerance. I would think it would take more than just alcohol to transform him into a Jamaican.
