Toronto mayor admits crack use

Maybe he has to pay per week to stay there.
Every Friday he needs to pay them.
What do you think he is getting the money for?
It has been confirmed that he is in Greenestone.
So I really do not think he is going to get money to buy crack.

He has to pay them cash each week? I don't think so. Why do you think his vehicle, which was not even supposed to be up there, was parked on a secluded road on the edge of the property for two nights (gone in the daytime) prior to a just discharged patient being pulled over while driving it impaired during the day on the third day?

Are there any regulations on these rehab clinics? Here's the site for their Toronto location...

http://greenestonetoronto.com/

At GreeneStone Toronto, we employ a holistic approach based on the understanding that you are a unique individual and that no one treatment model works for everyone. You will soon find out that this is no ordinary place.

My opinion, but the media needs to leave him alone.
Not taking pictures of him in rehab.
He has always loved the media spotlights.
But when you are at your lowest in your life and trying to get help,
you do not need paparazzi taking pictures.
He loved the media and he behaved like some Hollywood star.
It got to his head, and truly enjoyed it.
His ego was sky high.
But not anymore.
So when your are in rehab cameras should not be allowed.

He is the one who is calling constituents (campaigning) and reporters from rehab, likening it to "football camp". He is the one who is putting on his suit and going into various towns and posing for photo ops while in rehab. He is the one who somehow got his car up there and lent it out to a recently discharged patient who appears to have been doing something sketchy with it in the middle of the night right outside the facility for a couple of nights before being caught driving it drunk in the middle of the day. Even his brother Doug has no answers for this. He claims that RF won't even take his calls to find out.

I agree that for the sake of other patients who may have really hit rock bottom and are taking their rehab seriously that the media should not be staking out the facility, but to suggest that RF is taking this seriously at this point seems improbable. He is not even close to rock bottom yet and his ego is unchanged IMO.

What I want to know is why, if he is in an in residence rehab program, is he running around Bracebridge on the Friday before a long weekend? In a suit no less. So it's only in residence Monday-Friday?

seems the timetable is pretty rigid sun - sat... and there is no reason for him to have been in bracebridge looking at the list of outside AA meeting options towards the bottom: bala, pt carling and gravenhust @ http://greenestone.net/treatment/treatment-program/

this rehab treatment has got to be a ruse. jmo.

http://news.nationalpost.com/2014/05/23/rob-ford-drama-invades-ontarios-cottage-country/

he was driving a pick-up truck on Highway 169, near Acton Island Road, when he came to a wide corner and saw a black Escalade with silver trim speeding towards him, in his lane.

He laid into his horn, but the driver continued coming right at him, so he swerved onto the shoulder. He managed to stop before going into a ditch and called 911. It was 2:32 p.m.

“I’ve never seen anyone drive like that. When I was honking, they made no attempt at all to move lanes to get out of the way. If I didn’t swerve it would have been a head-on collision and I swerved out of the way just in time,

Merciful heavens!! That's quite a scandalous review!

From the link above ... "Do not trust this place. They are attached to a wine marsh...yeah...I went here and I drank everyday as classes did not exist. Staff complained of not getting paid or cheques bouncing...their credit got cut from Canadian Linen and Flanagans and Sysco...We were fed bird food and the chef was hammered by noon..."

I still wonder just what this whole company is about. They are relatively new and their Facebook has some more information but very little action. They seem to be targeting the wealthy for services they can pay for privately and therefore not wait for? That review of the Muskoka clinic is rather scathing.

Nothing updated for over a year. Claims of opening a location for emergency responders to treat PTSD. The whole company looks scattered and disorganized.

Looks like they're catering to wealthy executives.

Rob Ford could return to mayoral campaign from rehab in four to five weeks, Doug Ford says

Doug Ford said he did not ask his brother how the woman came to have the car or what her relationship is to the mayor.

“I didn’t get into it. I stayed positive… he’s in a positive mind right now. But he’s looking great, sounds great. Just wait until he gets back.”

http://news.nationalpost.com/2014/0...m-rehab-in-four-to-five-weeks-doug-ford-says/

Give me a break. He didn't ask him about LM because he wants to remain positive? You can bet he asked WTH was up with that, and he didn't know how to spin the answer so we're just going to overlook that one right?

The picture in the article is how RF looked the day he flew to Muskoka via Chicago . He looks exactly the same in the recent pic that was taken at the rehab and the pics from the various towns he's popped up in. In fact, I think he was wearing the exact same outfit last Friday in Midland, just before Doug went up there to see him and said he was looking and sounding "great".

Rob Ford celebrates his 45th birthday at Muskoka-area bar

Employees of Crabby Joe's Tap & Grill said that Ford was with his two children, and two other women that the employees did not immediately recognize. The group stayed for about an hour, employees said.

A member of the bar staff said that Ford was "in good spirits" and drank only diet soda during dinner.

So who were the two women? One was not his wife? Must have been right?

And also in the article...

On Tuesday, the Toronto mayor's black Cadillac Escalade — which had been impounded after a 36-year-old woman who claimed to have been in rehab with Ford was charged with impaired driving while behind the wheel of the SUV — was picked up by an unidentified man and driven off the lot.

Now somehow when this unidentified man showed up, the licence plates re-appeared and he drove it off the lot with the plates intact. Also there is the question that the Escalade is registered and leased to Deco Labels, the Ford family business. Now does Rob Ford hold a position there? I was under the impression that Doug Ford does and therefore donates his counsillor's salary to charity but RF does not and therefore keeps his mayoral salary. So do they write off the Escalade as a Deco company vehicle with RF driving it? It is obviously not used for company business. Why else would it be registered to the business and not to RF?

Not sure why you'd need to buy groceries when you're in Re-hab but whatever...

http://www.torontosun.com/2014/05/31/mayor-rob-ford-spotted-shopping-bracebridge

And he's planning to return just in time for Canada Day celebrations naturally. I believe he has traditionally ducked the pride parade during that weekend by claiming "family time" at the cottage. So I suppose he'll spend the weekend at the cottage and then show up for the fireworks and celebrations on July 1st. Make it all about him and his "comeback". The media needs to completely ignore him when he returns...but they won't. :banghead:

Just another in a long list of "conflict of interest" situations with the Ford brothers in office.

Rob Ford slammed for lobbying city for firm being courted by Deco

Rob Ford’s election rivals slammed him Wednesday for lobbying government on behalf of a company that was being wooed at the same time by his family firm.

http://www.thestar.com/news/city_ha...ying_city_for_firm_being_courted_by_deco.html

These incidents alone should be enough to convince the voters of the Ford brothers agenda in city hall and to take the steps necessary to stop their own personal "gravy train".
