Mr. Fickel told police he saw the mayor intoxicated on about 15 to 20 occasions – at his office, at football practice, and at other events. He added that he was asked to buy alcohol for the mayor seven to 10 times. A number of other staffers also told police they had been asked on occasion to purchase alcohol for the mayor.

Remaining censored in the newly released documents is a section titled, “Project Traveller and the Rob Ford connection.”

Project Traveller was a year-long guns and drugs investigation that culminated with dozens of arrests in mid-June. Two men arrested in the police operation tried to sell the Ford video to several media organizations.

It was during the Project Traveller wiretapping that LE first heard the accused talking among themselves about a video of Ford smoking crack.
This was a few months before the May articles in Gawker and The Star.

This is a late reply, but I've only just started coming to this thread.

For what it's worth, I heard that talk about Doug Ford being a big ol' soft-drug dealer a year before that article came out. And the guy who told the story wasn't the only one in the crowd that night who had heard the story.

Funny the Globe would say that the section "Project Traveller and the Rob Ford Connection" was still redacted, because there are sections that are readable.
Turns out Khattak was wounded in the Anthony Smith shooting. In all the articles published about that photo, none of them mentioned that Khattak was with Smith that night.

gg) David PRICE came into the office and the rest of the staff did not know too much about him. He basically badgered the Mayor to give him a job. The Mayor finally gave in and hired him at double the price of everyone else in the office. That did not go over too well with the staff. The Mayor would tell everyone that if they did not like him bringing PRICE in they could quit.
hh) Everyone was aware that PRICE had a past of drug dealing.
ii) PRICE maintained that it was not true. PRICE makes $130 000 a year and the last person who had his job made $65 000 a year.

We've had our share of corruption and scandal in Montreal. We just elected a new mayor. I wonder how long he'll last.

I'm just reading that he was verbally abusive in a sexually explicit way to a female staffer and she didn't complain and now works for Toronto Hydro. Could be she's afraid of him and that she'll lose her job. She denies he said these things to her:

He said Ford’s staff contacted her because they thought that Ford would listen to her, but he became “inappropriate” and claimed to have slept with her, the document says. Ransom alleged Ford told her, “I’m going to *** you out” and “I banged your *****,” and was “somewhat upset by it but at the same time didn’t seem too phased by the comments.”

Gondek declined to be interviewed by police. They noted: “She was initially worried because she currently works for Toronto Hydro and felt like she would be putting her job in jeopardy by speaking about the mayor.”
