Toronto Argonauts Statement: It's well-known that the Mayor is a big fan and supporter of the game of football.

The Toronto Argonauts organization is not in a position to comment on the manner of dress of public officials.

The situation with respect to the Mayor and his leadership is unseemly at best. These latest remarks, while wearing our team's jersey, are particularly disappointing given our organization's work in the community to help youth deal with issues of bullying prevention.

We hope for the benefit of the wonderful citizens of Toronto and this great city that this situation is resolved expeditiously.

I never thought it would come to this, but the Canadian 24-hr news network is wayyyy more interesting than their American counterparts.

I don't live in Canada, but I feel sorry for those of you that do. This man should not be in office. With all that is posted in this thread alone, there must be more going on that is covered up. Worse than just frat boy antics.

I doubt he ever thinks clearly. How on earth does he think he can combine the drugs and alcohol at his age and girth? The combo could kill anyone, but he should know the risk. Not someone that should be making decisions for others. Very disturbing.

I personally don't think he a crack addict as he wouldn't weigh over 300 lbs.

He may be a boozer, but again, it probably takes quite a bit for him to be "drunk" given his size.

I find it comical that a politician can literally cross nearly every morally unacceptable line. This is pure, in your face how politicians actually work; especially right-wingers. Not accepting responsibility for ones actions.

We've had our share of corruption and scandal in Montreal. We just elected a new mayor. I wonder how long he'll last.
