Sorry, I got a phone call and missed the ending but it was after they had voted on the motions pertaining to Ford. Yes they all went through.

Mayor Rob Ford stripped of powers in Toronto council vote

The votes followed moments of chaos during the debate at City Hall, with Rob Ford yelling at members of the public at one point, and crashing into a fellow councillor while he ran through the chamber.

About two hours into the meeting, Ford rose from his seat and began circling council chambers to take pictures of the crowd.

Some individuals began heckling the mayor and yelling "shame," while smaller arguments broke out between spectators.

According to reporters in the chamber, the mayor's brother then got involved in a verbal altercation with members of the public.

CP24’s Katie Simpson reported that Coun. Doug Ford “called someone a .”

At one point, the mayor broke into a run around the side of the chamber and crashed into Coun. Pam McConnell, who nearly fell to the ground. Ford helped her get to her feet before he walked away.

I noticed that RF mentioned all the so called supportive calls and emails he's been getting but you can't tell me he hasn't been getting a lot more negative ones.

Same with Doug. Are either of them acting on behalf of the majority of their constituents at the moment?

At this point, they are both getting American media attention. And they come from a wealthy family worth over $100 million.

I guess they are truly on the gravy train.... :scared:

I support them in the sense of being "normal" somewhat and nothing worth hiding anymore. If he has not been hammered in 3 weeks... that's a start.

Ford was running towards a HECKLER when he ran into McConnell and was forced into apologizing to her by other council members. Pathetic. Watch the video at this link to see the whole thing, it has the best video and descriptions.

The shouting continued, however, with onlookers screaming “you’re a disgrace!” and “you’re pathetic!” Doug Ford responded,”you’re milking the system” and “you’re a disgrace, you little punk!” as Councillor Mark Grimes grabbed him by the elbow and pulled him away.

The crowd yelled “shame, shame, shame” to the mayor, who began shouting back prior to his run into McConnell.
