On our local news there was an interview with John's Father and he said that his heart gave out.

I didn't realize he was so very young -- that was such an enjoyable series. He will be missed -- RIP

That is so sad. He was a great actor and seemed like a great person.

My prayers for his family. I loved "Touched by an Angel". One of the last decent t.v. shows to air on television, sad to say. I loved his character. Seemed like he didn't have to "act" much with that job, probably just being himself. Sad. RIP, John.

This is the first I've heard of this. I'm so sorry to hear of John's death. I used to watch Touched by an angel all the time.
