A Northern Michigan University student was last seen walking outdoors in the bitter cold and snow around 3:25 a.m. Sunday in Marquette, police said.
Marquette Police said Monday morning that Massey “appeared to be disoriented and having trouble walking” when he was last spotted by a surveillance camera at 3:25 a.m. Sunday in the area of East Baraga Avenue and the Founder’s Landing Boardwalk. He was wearing an olive green and black coat and dark pants.
Authorities believe Massey was attempting to walk home but never arrived.
The police department shared a shaded map of the area relevant to the search and asked residents and businesses in that area to check surveillance video footage from 3:25 a.m. Sunday onward for signs of Massey. They also asked residents to check their property, including vehicles and outbuildings, for signs of him.
