Just as an aside, some people never get any justice. Their missing children are never found and no perp is ever arrested. They have no idea what happened to their child.

I also think of the Amish whose children were shot at the school. They forgave right away.

I cannot understand these people. They have more strength than I can even imagine nor donI want that strength.

Or even Anne Frank. The hope she still had for humanity.

I still have w list of my heroes but I will stop here

I completely agree. I never saw justice. I chose instead to make myself stronger in spite of it. My heart aches for Travis and his loved ones. I wish to God I had a friend like him in my life.

LampChop what you wrote is so scary true. JA was already targeting her next victim.

What I saw as the brutality of the crime was assigning emotion to it. Someone enraged. That may not have any part of this crime. It could have been a cold, premeditative murder planned to look like multiple people, with mutliple different weapons attacked and killed Travis. Her fear of having a roommate walk in during this time may have kept her addrenaline pumped but she may have been one cool cucumber when killing and staging the scene.

I am sorry, but I couldn't disagree more. I guess I am one of few who does not feel that she a sociopath out to kill up and coming Mormons. I think very specific circumstances led to what happened. Plenty of men have bed buddies that have feelings for them but they don't happen to have been Histrionic Personalities that do not deal with rejection well.

I am prepared for the fall out but IMO she could have lived her whole life never killing anyone if she hadn't found herself in such an odd situation. Never the less she is guilty and her actions were neither self defense nor anywhere near justified.

It probably was close in time that she was pushing him over the edge and he had just had enough of her sickening controlling diabolical ways.

That is probably when he also said 'I feel like a dildo with a heartbeat.'

imo

I think you're absolutely right. I once dated a guy that was super clingy and stalkerish. I got home from work @4:15 ...4:17 my phone would start ringing. He'd wait outside my house in shrubs if I said I was going out with friends to see what time I got home and if I was alone. ( I have a few funny story's like when a neighbor spotted him in the shrubs and called LE) I tried breaking up with him like a normal human being, he'd cry, beg, threaten to kill himself, apologies, make promises.etc... I took him back a few times ... Finally, my resentment building, I got rid of him by yelling and screaming hateful and very hurtful things as I threw everything he ever gave me at him as his stood on my walkway. I'm not proud of that, but it worked.

Funny thing is, I ran into him years later and became friends. He never behaved that way again, with anyone. I asked him what made him change, he said he thinks he just grew up. We were both 18 or 19 at the time.

I believe she is a sociopath because she fits the traits of one to a T, imo.

http://www.mcafee.cc/Bin/sb.html

Here are just a few traits.

Irresponsibility/Unreliability
Not concerned about wrecking others' lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.

Promiscuous Sexual Behavior/Infidelity
Promiscuity, child sexual abuse, rape and sexual acting out of all sorts.

Lack of Realistic Life Plan/Parasitic Lifestyle
Tends to move around a lot or makes all encompassing promises for the future, poor work ethic but exploits others effectively.

Criminal or Entrepreneurial Versatility
Changes their image as needed to avoid prosecution. Changes life story readily.

She also fits the profile of a female stalker with psychopathic traits.

I might have felt that way too, had it not been for the over-kill of 29 stab wounds, throat slashing, and shot directly to the head. That's a whole lot of hate and rage. How many people could do that?

Dworkin testified that a laptop he examined, recovered from Alexander's home, was in use between 4:08 am and 4:35 am on June 4, 2008. He identified several websites/URLs accessed using the profile name "Deanna Reid." Deanna Reid is the name of an ex-girlfriend of Travis Alexander.

Never mind, Beth answered!

It'd be AWESOME if Deanna comes forward and says she doesn't even have a gmail or youtube account and then upon further investigation we find that account was created on June 4 at 3:50am and then go after JA for falsifying information, ID theft, etc., etc. I'm sure that is far fetched but then again she's done so many other crazy things i almost find it justifiable to have the kinds of crazy thoughts!!

I feel very confident that when it's JM's turn up there he will get to the bottom of this and clear everything up! I also think bc the majority of the panel are men they couldn't give a bigger flip about what's on his computer and have probably already tuned it out. Their questions get better and better with every witness so let's stay positive that they are on the same page as we are ;)

Stolat - I'm with you. I'm just glad the prosecution isn't try to sell some of the ideas about the nature of the relationship between JA and TA that I've heard around here.

I tend to think that the prosecutor has a very clear picture of what Jodi Arias really is but he doesn't have to do anything other than prove she did it, it was premeditated, it was heinous and deserves the death penalty.

Found herself in such an odd situation?

Can you please elaborate?

It took me a very long time to understand this. Forgiveness isn't about the perp, it's for yourself and letting go of the burning hatred so you can move forward. The perp need never know. All IMO

Agree. I believe one has to move on from vile hatred for the person. It only eats you alive and certainly doesn't keep the perp awake at night. One can still hate what they did. IMO

:waitasec: Adding Rhoda from the Bad Seed ... braids and all

Oh wow that brings back memories. For some reason I thought that kind of evil was born sometime in the early 1970s? And then I saw that movie and thought people were wicked even back then. It was an eye opener. People listening to Elvis Presley, driving those cool cars and wearing poodle skirts might have a bad seed in their midst. Boarding school can be a shelter in so many ways...

Is that when he says all of this? Isnt that the date she stoled the gun.

I dont blame him......he was probably trying to say every bad thing he could think of hoping she would get pissed enough and leave him the hell alone.

watching the defense questioning Lisa and IS having the side by side of JA and Lisa. I just noticed how JA clenched her teeth when Lisa testified she couldn't remember the first time she met JA.

hahahahahahahahaha.....bet she hated that she made no impression...lol

I just want you to know that there are lurkers that agree with you like me. JA seems more borderline/narcissistic than histrionic to me, though, for whatever that's worth.
