This was already brought up in testimony from Det. Flores and Dr. Horn.
Det. Flores testified that he was mistaken when he testified at a hearing early on in the case.
Dr. Horn was deposed by the defense much later and has always maintained the stab wound to the chest was first.

Totally understand. I'm of the belief that the shot was first and the gun jammed as .25 do. It's also a very low/small bullet and Dr. Horn said that he couldn't tell exactly because of the amount of time passed from death of TA' brain. Also I believe there was truth in JA's ninja story about him being shot first. I know the casing was clean on top of blood which I can explain away. There will be 1000's of ME's out there that say TA could survive and move for A PERIOD of time with this injury. And I be the DT will call one.

I posted this because this was also the time she claimed SD and the quote was she stated he was "unconscience" (sp) but was able to move. Whatever that means.

Edit- add to this the last know alive picture of TA was the perfect postion for a downward trajectory bullet and not his last resting place.

The judge in this case already stated it didn't matter which came first it was still cruel as evidence of TA moving all around that bathroom.

What pisses me off is its perfectly legal to drag Travis through the mud with all sorts of ridiculous accusations but it wouldn't be legal to sell raffle tickets to win a "witness to her execution seat" or make it a "pay per view" event proceeds benefitting his family. That would be morally wrong....

I think they do stuff like this in Iran or Saudi Arabia. I think we are better than that.

But I think this trial should be over. The mud is not necessary. She is so done.

But as another poster wrote, maybe she still thinks she will get off.

I really believe that JA's intention was to do more than murder TA. I believe she was intent on torturing him so she could watch him suffer in pain and agony. This is even more disturbing to me. I believe she enjoyed every minute of this heinous, violent act. Just makes me :sick: jmo

Dr. Horn did not say the two stab wounds were last. He said the last two wounds would have been fatal. Cutting the throat and maybe he felt the gunshot would have been fatal. We know he stated the stab to the heart would have been fatal but he feels certain that was first because TA would have still been able to move around until he bled out. jmo

So from his/your own statement the cutting of the throat and the stab to the heart would have been fatal.

I've been doing a ton of reading about .25 gun shot wounds and even though only 10% live, 50% make it to the hospital so he could have lived within the 2 minutes it took to kill him. I just can not get over the fact that if I was showering and I saw a knife coming at me that I couldn't deflect in some way IF I were a man with more strength than a woman. Now IF he were stabbed when his eyes were closed thats a different story.

Many people belive that his last picture sitting down he had a sad/afraid/weird look on his face and I'm thinking maybe he saw the gun at that moment. Also he was in the perfect position for the trajectory for a downward moving shot.

Again the judge has ruled that it didn't matter what came first as TA still moved around therefore it's still cruel providing for the DP.

You are in the middle of a shower naked, washing your hair. I am walking around in your bedroom with a sweat suit on (free to leave the house the same door I came in, and the big one with the door knob, not the doggie door I was rumored to squeeze through that other time) So I get a big knife and the gun I brought and go into the bathroom and shoot you then stab you 20+ times because...........you were applying cream rinse to your hair.

The thing is, she has the right to a trial and she is availing herself of that right. She thinks she will get off but she also may enjoy inflicting this extra damage to Travis' memory.

I just think it ALL goes bad for her. What's she going to say? That he 'lunged' at her and she was able to break free and go get a gun or a knife? If she could run to do that, why not run right out the door? I doubt that 'enraged' Travis is going to chase her out the door naked and wrestle her to the ground, for all the neighbors to see.

ITA with you. I think that a lot of people get caught up in the ME's opinion, based on facts. To put it short and sweet, he doesn't know what happened that night. He only can hypothesize. Sometimes, ME's are wrong. There is a ton of evidence to support he may have been wrong with this one that has been linked to time and time again on these very forums.

Agreed unless they bring in an ME that will show that TA could still continue his attack on her for A SMALL PERIOD of time. This all happened in 2 minutes.

I think he was shot first only because I cannot see a man not deflecting a downward motion of a knife and getting it away from her UNLESS he didn't see it coming at all.

The position of TA final resting place shows that he was on the wrong side of the shot. So it had to have happened out of the shower or in his last live picture when he was sitting down. IMO.
