On another forum, a person continues to suggest that the duct tape photographed on the floor is very significant in why Arias murdered Travis. Does anyone know why that person has stated that several times? Does anyone know anything about Travis or his roommate's or friend's protection rites?

Why was the duct tape on the floor? Had it been on Travis' bicep?

My husband watches that show so I've been trapped by it a couple of episodes. One of them did wreck one guy's buggy for having races while he was out of town. :floorlaugh:

One of the guys (who seems to fancy himself an Amish boss in Ohio) strikes me as playing a game of dungeons and dragons in his head. Also, he's been arrested for selling pot!

One chick is a little seducing manipulator. She's really the one running that gig. I was surprised I tell you! Shocked.

I think it's all fake. The kegger parties? The Amish chicks in their little hoodlets, drinking beer out of red solo cups, dancing on tables, making out with Amish guys? C'mon, that can't be real? :what:

Nope! It wasn't mentioned in either opening statement. That duct tape annoys me to death.... I never went back to the naked Travis pics to see for myself if it was indeed on his arm at some point. But that's what I read here.

Yes, we do seem to agree on this. I don't, however, care who says what about Jodi. She is a monster and deserves NO respect from anyone.

Respect or not, I think that as a community we ought to at least strive to be truthful and fair.

I just hate hearing women who do the same things sexually as men, referred to as "". It honestly pains me.

And specifically, it doesn't help Travis, it is destroying his memory. Every strike at Jodi for having consensual sex with Travis is also a strike on Travis.

We just need to move on. Jodi is a murderer. But a ? A ? How many partners qualifies a woman for those lovely titles?

How many partners qualify a man for that same title?

Does calling JA a somehow validate her title as a killer?

I don't think so. And because of that, it is not necessary. And it is the reason that Travis, the VICTIM, keeps having his penis discussed.

If we quit shaming Jodi, maybe we can preserve some of Travis' dignity that has been so attacked.

Oh Gosh, please don't feel that way. You had no way of knowing anything that would happen concerning those photos yesterday. I am a proud member here and I think that everyone here would agree with that. You did NOTHING wrong, Katie. I am one here among dozens who can't wait to see what you post. I feel horrible that you feel like I was saying anything directed at you.

It's ok if his family comes here and reads the posts. What they will find is a group of people they have never met who don't know them but we are connected now by someone they loved that is dead.

Hopefully they will feel the anguish of most people here that he did not deserve to lose his life. He was hard working, outgoing, he had some great friends that clearly loved him. He was finding himself romantically as most people do at that age contemplating how his life might go, who he might marry, no more or less confused than maybe many of us as we went through those years. I don't even think of him as a cad, I have formed my own opinion about why he did the things he did. (which seriously, were not bad, I'm sorry, maybe I have just lived a bit, trust me, I've seen bad, he wasn't it)

And in the end it was shocking, tragic, scary and wouldn't it be nice to be able to go back in time and warn him.

His family goes forward like we all do, we just go on. And with each new year that we all live to see, comes with it the possibility that this year a life changing event will happen to me or you. One of us reading this thread right now will have a life changing event this year, the odds would put money on it.

What will it be and how will we handle it. And will our life play out on a thread here. And if it does, it's ok, we will get through it. We just find a way to keep going. I guess because we have to.

I haven't commented about Travis or his private parts.

For whatever reason it brings me some small measure of pleasure to make Jodi the butt of jokes and nasty comments. I don't know why, but it does. I have zero control of what the outcome of the trial is. But here, I can judge her. I like that. I deem her a psychopathic murderer. That's a far worse opinion IMO than what I think of her appearance or her junk.

I was just agreeing with NRFTW that the naughty bits discussion had eclipsed the real issue. Which is that JA murdered TA.

My only divergence from her post is that I am concerned for women as a whole when we hold men and women to two separate standards.

But we basically agree that the other stuff has become too much.

I understand where you are coming from, I really do. But, I'm here for Travis, and for other victims. I could care less what is said about Jodi or other murderers. As a matter of fact, there isn't a word that has been invented that is low enough to call Jodi and other monsters like her.

I feel this forum is for victims. And, while I do respect your desire to take up for women in general, there are other forums for that and I personally don't believe that calling Jodi any name at all is hurting Travis in any way.

But, I do respect your opinion and will argue your right to have it!
