I would sit down in it. It's not THAT small imo.

I would too. I always sit in the shower. I don't know why, but it's relaxing to me.

Your definition of evil is not legally criminal. There are plenty of people like this who commit no crimes.

You know who never actually murdered anyone, loved his pets, was a vegetarian, never smoked or drank? Hitler.

imo - this might not to be a road we go down

That could be but I do not see her waiting until the roommate came home. I don't think she could handle both of them at the same time. Usually the ME gives an approximate time of death when it's been days before a body is found. I don't think she is a particularly good planner. To go to all that planning only to wait until 5:30 to kill him makes me wonder why would she wait. We see pictures of him on the bed and it's pretty clear she could have shot him right there and been on her way. Plus why did she take those pictures, only to delete them and throw the camera in the washer at the last minute? To do what she had to do in the short period of time the roommate would have walked right into her because she had to still have been there.

The roommate said the furniture was fine in the morning and all the furniture was moved and a cleaner was in the middle of the floor when he got home. My guess is she threw the bloody towels, clothes over the banister onto the floor below. That is why the banister was cleaned off and why the floor cleaner was sitting out in the living room and entry area. There was probably blood on the floor. Also she cleaned up in the downstairs bath because there was blood in there LE found. The OS tells us she claims she went in there to clean up after she had sex with TA. My guess is she had blood all over her after putting the wash in the washer and may have showered there. That all takes time so I don't see her out of there by 6pm. It is certainly something to think about. It just makes it seem as if there was a plan and killing him at 5:30 was part of her plan.

It would also give her time to do the sheets and put them in the dryer and reload the washer. I think the picture of him on the bed with the big bottle of KY was show he routinely was having anal sex. No bottle of KY was recovered at the scene to my knowledge. She certainly was bloody after getting TA back into the shower and then washing him off. Again that takes time. It also could explain why she did not try to clean up all the blood, only what was outside the bedroom. It just seems to me there was a reason she waited until 5:30 unless she suspected the roommate knew she was there. jmo

She killed Travis within two minutes. I think she could do a fast cleanup in less time than you think be used she was possessed. I think she was so psychotic that she wasn't thinking of the roommate coming home. If he had, she would have killed him too. It is a blessing for him that he was delayed.

I'm just having hard time thinking an in-shape Travis coould NOT have disarmed Jodi with a knife...I mean his adrenaline (I'm sure) was pumping too....Just thinking out loud, but I have stun gun that I carry in my purse, It's 1000K volts and it WILL drop anyone..I wonder if she had anything like that.

As in OJ or CA? I always thought there was no such thing as the perfect crime...but, after the verdict in Florida, I found myself reluctant to become too invested in crimes and trials ...and right and wrong. And here I am following this one closely. Go figure!

It was not the perfect crime. It was the perfect defense jury. Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil. They all appeared to be too much alike in accepting things at face value. Some felt it was not their place to judge. Well, hello???? Certainly not like we are here. LOL

I don't buy the "knife in the bedroom" theory at all. I think she's trying to cover her you know what so that it won't lean towards premeditated. I haven't seen any evidence at all about a knife being there (I guess it would be hard to disprove though as TA certainly wouldn't share that info with his roommates).

I'm sure both the gun and knife were in her purse on the dresser.

Not sure I understand?

If you recall, Condi made a slip at a dinner party and called Pres. Bush her , "Husb....".

There were little spoof vignettes on TV of her writing her name with different variations with Bush as the last name.

So when people were talking about Jodi writing her name with TA's last name, those little comedies are what I thought of.

NOt even if someone put a gun (close range) to your head? Realy?

Well one thing we can count on if Jodi testifies she is going to flip it that she shot him first whether its the truth or not and isnt imo.

She has delayed reaction responses due to her psychopathic makeup and it takes her awhile to become aware as to what part of her crime is seen as the most evil to normal people and now she realizes it is the knife stabbing and slitting the throat. To her though none of its a big deal except she knows she needs to lie trying to protect herself.

I have a feeling Juan will be ready for any lie she puts forth.

IMO

That would mean every man that has been attacked by a woman who slashed them to death or beat them in the head with a hammer would all be able to disarm the woman first. Women are perfectly capable of murdering larger men. She had him at his most vulnerable where everything on his naked body could be a target. He was in a small confined space.

Only a fool rushes forward into a crazy woman who is wielding a large and sharp 6 inch blade knife.

All he could do is try to desperately get away from her but like many other men he was unsuccessful.:(

The ME would have seen the signs of a stun gun.

Everyone have a great night. Pray for justice this week. Maybe the defense will rest. Maybe Jodi won't testify. Maybe the jury will get it right and not be like the CA and Oj juries. Pray for the family and friends of Travis.
Will be reading your posts tomorrow.
Note to Katiecoollady: Please keep me posted as to what happens in court. Thank you!

I heard someone on HLN explaining the breakdown of the jurors in this case and the one I worry about is a young man in his 20's.

I think the shower pictures show a photo session, and he knew she was there. The last pic of his face looks like a close-up with water droplets all 'artistically' showing. He sat down because he was being a model, imho.

Next, I think she told him to lean over to get an artsy shot of his strong neck (or nape of his neck... whatever) and he complied. Then she stabbed him in the back in my scenario. He was in pain and in shock and couldn't react as well as a nicely built man in his condition might. He got out and coughed in the sink, then he traveled down the hallway. The rest fits what the prosecution said.

She may have stabbed him in the heart before the back, but I think she planned out very carefully how to have him in the most vulnerable position possible (leaning over).

I think she didn't just shoot him because she didn't want to do it that way. The stabbing and neck-slitting showed a ton of rage that I think she relished. I think she wanted to be up close and personal, as many killers do.

She reminds me very much of other-- male--stalkers.

Then why is the lighting and focus so bad?

"Gender Fairytales and Domestic Violence" - Alyce LaViolette - 10/16/08 - YouTube

I watched that too and wasnt all that impressed.

Anyone that is going to lie and say this defendant was abused doesnt get my respect. I hate hired guns who will say what you want them to say if you pay them enough.

Strange though she talks about stalking in the video...........hmmmm

Maybe Juan will ask her about her thinking Snow White was a battered woman.:floorlaugh:

There's no way the bullet could enter the temporal lobe via the path it took. And that's not an opinion.

lobes.jpg

Right. The Medical Examiner who performed the autopsy on Travis Alexander's corpse said the bullet passed through the frontal lobe of Travis' brain.

~ I'm going to go ahead and quote my own post from over two weeks ago, good 'manners' be damned....

Here is the actual testimony of the Medical Examiner. To hear him state in his own words that the bullet definitely passed through Travis' brain, and how this was proven, just start the video at 2:36:00.

If one chooses to watch for a couple of minutes, they will be reminded of the almost comical exchange between the defense attorney and the ME about the bullet passing through the brain. It might have been funny if it hadn't been so sad.

~ WARNING, GRAPHIC TESTIMONY REGARDING GUNSHOT WOUNDS AND BRAIN INJURIES CONTAINED IN VIDEO.

Then why is the lighting and focus so bad?

If you look at the photos in sequence imo he didnt know she was even there until the last pictures.

That is why some are so dark and some are out of focus.

Jodi was checking TA's voicemail messages to see who had called, etc. Then, to cover her actions, she also left messages on his VM.

So very evil! She thought she could actually get away with this..and, after he was dead, she didn't even care. DP, please!

I think she was so psychotic that she wasn't thinking of the roommate coming home. If he had, she would have killed him too. It is a blessing for him that he was delayed.

There was no visible blood down the stairs, on the living room floors, hallway to the laundry room which had to have had something because the rust colored towel that was in the washer had been full of blood. You can see it. She would have had to wash off TA and herself. Remove all her clothes which now were full of blood, washed herself off enough to get downstairs without leaving tracks, pack up her bloody clothes (maybe in a trash bag), take the bloody clothes downstairs, possibly leaving TA in the shower with the water running and that may be why the floor was wet right into the linen closet. Unless he only had a couple of towels it appears from his linen closet some of his towels might be missing. She still had to clean the banister and run the floor cleaner over the floor to get up the blood. He may not have owned a mop and a mop would leave blood traces.

Jodi also wiped down the washer and the dryer because there were no prints. Along with the computer, his bureau, the downstairs bath and whatever else she remembers touching. That's a little more than 15 minutes time for her to get dressed, grab her stuff and out of the house. I think she moved the furniture because she was trying to catch the dog and put him outside because I don't see her doing all this without the dog barking at her. Animals know when their master is in trouble.

Anyone know what time that ping hit as she was leaving AZ?
