Then why is the lighting and focus so bad?

Well, she wouldn't really care if the shots came out badly. It was a ruse, imho.

I heard someone on HLN explaining the breakdown of the jurors in this case and the one I worry about is a young man in his 20's.

Not to worry if that young juror can relate to Travis.....

Awww, LT

I have a birdie death-in-the-house-by-cat story, as well.

Mr DD surprised me at our wedding with 2 white doves. We then kept them in a huge (!!) cage in our bedroom for 3 weeks afterwards. Didn't quite know what to do with them. Well, Mr DD had a cat when I married him....long story short, a family member got injured and we ran out the house to get to the hospital quickly...and in our running out of the house, our bedroom door didn't latch completely. We got home 3 hours later and there were white feathers with red blood throughout the whole 2 story house. Kitty had gotten into our room and knocked over the big cage. One bird was okay, the other, we thought had to be dead! .... Mr DD went and got the bird's body (what was left of it, I swear), put it in a plastic bag and went downstairs to throw it away. Right then, he realized it was still barely breathing...off to the emergency vet and 3 days there...we nursed that dove back to health via feeding it through a eye dropper, etc. But it really looked like a house of carnage. Ugh.

Wow! What an interesting story and what a romantic gesture from hubby! Hope dove is still doing well!:twocents:

IMHO she NEEDED desperately to see them to tailor her story to match.

I don't have a link but I love the "REALLY" when Flores tells her the photos exist.

Someone trying to make sure her next story fits the evidence. lol
Flores saw right through her - I loved that part.

Okay, we know it's 11 hours from Mesa to Salt Lake City, give or take. We know she was talking to RB and sent 4 voicemail messages to TA so she did not sleep much. She should have arrived at RB's around 6am. She claims to have slept all day on the 4th so she was up to driving all night. I think she did not get out of the house until 6:30 or 7:00. Stopped a couple of times on the way, once to burn the evidence. Again to get rid of the gun. Stopped for gas in Las Vegas, I believe. May have slept a couple of hours along the way to get there by mid-day. jmo

We have to keep in mind, we don't know who will actually serve on the final jury. The alternates are included at this point, and we won't know until the end who makes the decision.

NOt even if someone put a gun (close range) to your head? Realy?

LOL, I did say voluntarily sit in the bottom of the shower. I don't think it would be voluntarily if a gun was to your head. I think that it would take a gun to your head for you to sit in the bottom of the shower.

I'm just having hard time thinking an in-shape Travis coould NOT have disarmed Jodi with a knife...I mean his adrenaline (I'm sure) was pumping too....Just thinking out loud, but I have stun gun that I carry in my purse, It's 1000K volts and it WILL drop anyone..I wonder if she had anything like that.

Mmmm.....as in couldn't feel his legs? I know it seems like a stretch, but that statement Jodi said Travis yelled out has really stuck in my craw. She could have so much physical control over him if his legs were not functioning.

Two comments:

-There would be marks on his body from either the drive stun or barbs. There aren't any such indications in the coroner's report.

-Are you sure your stun gun will work effectively? Have you tested it on anyone? lol Stun guns and Tasers are two different things. I can attest to the reliability of Tasers. A standard stun gun may nor may not work. Sometimes it just delivers a painful shock and not much else. If thick clothing is being worn, it won't be very effective. I just don't want you to have a false sense of security with it.

I found a pic of Travis's shower after he was removed. There is still blood in the shower so some may view this as graphic. This photo shows just how small his shower actually was.

I am spacing the photo down further so the ones who want to can pass over it after seeing my warning.

Photo credit to my death space

(removed the photo in case any one didn't want to see it and the quote made it easier to accidentally see for some reason)

Well sheesh now I know what cup you guys are talking about!!! I've been looking for a dang cup in photos for weeks now haha

and thank you for posting, that definitely proves that's the drain in the photo of him sitting

She killed Travis within two minutes. I think she could do a fast cleanup in less time than you think be used she was possessed. I think she was so psychotic that she wasn't thinking of the roommate coming home. If he had, she would have killed him too. It is a blessing for him that he was delayed.

This is an opinion based on a less-than-clear picture.

lol What's so gross about sitting on a drain versus the rest of the shower?

I think the shower was small enough that if he was going to sit down, he wouldn't have much of a choice but to sit on/near the drain.

The drain has crevices that you can not clean all of. If you sit on your skin imprints into the holes of the drain therefore touching areas of the drain that you can never clean directly. I don't think sitting in a shower is gross if it is cleaned. The drain is weird though. Especially that he has his private parts directly over them. I just don't see someone one as clean as TA doing something like.

I would not worry. He could end up an alternate. If he ends up on the jury he's still out numbered. It is usually the person you least expect who can't decide. lol

I've got to say that I'm so glad that the alternates were chosen upfront on the capital murder trial I served on. It would really be a bummer if you sat through this trial and could not participate in the verdict. Three of the alternates stayed in the gallery to see the verdict during the trial.

There's no way the bullet could enter the temporal lobe via the path it took. And that's not an opinion.

ME said the frontal lobe.

There was no visible blood down the stairs, on the living room floors, hallway to the laundry room which had to have had something because the rust colored towel that was in the washer had been full of blood. You can see it. She would have had to wash off TA and herself. Remove all her clothes which now were full of blood, washed herself off enough to get downstairs without leaving tracks, pack up her bloody clothes (maybe in a trash bag), take the bloody clothes downstairs, possibly leaving TA in the shower with the water running and that may be why the floor was wet right into the linen closet. Unless he only had a couple of towels it appears from his linen closet some of his towels might be missing. She still had to clean the banister and run the floor cleaner over the floor to get up the blood. He may not have owned a mop and a mop would leave blood traces.

Jodi also wiped down the washer and the dryer because there were no prints. Along with the computer, his bureau, the downstairs bath and whatever else she remembers touching. That's a little more than 15 minutes time for her to get dressed, grab her stuff and out of the house. I think she moved the furniture because she was trying to catch the dog and put him outside because I don't see her doing all this without the dog barking at her. Animals know when their master is in trouble.

Anyone know what time that ping hit as she was leaving AZ?

Here is a transcript of testimony re: the cell phone.

I'll try to find one that states the location. IIRC it was about 45 miles from the Nevada/Arizona border.

Found it:

If you recall, Condi made a slip at a dinner party and called Pres. Bush her , "Husb....".

There were little spoof vignettes on TV of her writing her name with different variations with Bush as the last name.

So when people were talking about Jodi writing her name with TA's last name, those little comedies are what I thought of.

No, I really don't recall. I don't pay too much attention to things of that nature. But haven't we all made some type of slip? I'd hate to live in a fishbowl where every mistake you make is put under a microscope by the media and then put through a sieve to drain every last drop out of you. I guess that is the price you pay to be famous. jmo
