They're getting away with it because no one will hold them accountable.

How true. I know the defense wouldn't object because "their side" of the story is getting out there, and I'm confused as to why the state had not objected to this violation. Maybe they are hoping she/he will say something they can use against them at trial. The sad thing about it is even the best outcome- a conviction of both M's won't bring Heather back. And it awful someone knows where she is....

The state is acting like they gave up months ago. They say they're going ahead with the kidnapping charge, but really? They've backpedaled on everything they've said, so at this point their credibility is low.

Yep, and Tammy is still running the show on everyone`s part.....and allowed to get away with it. Is everyone scared of her?

Not sure if this is better in the evidence thread but I'm so curious if somewhere in all of the FB rant theories, that she/he/they won't actually throw out a clue of truth as to what really happened to HE. I keep trying to read closely to see if anything really makes sense but the rants are all over the place that I'm really having a hard time following them most of the time.

I really try to stay objective and open minded but it's so hard with all of the victim bashing, hate and vile posts towards HE/TE and the entire Elvis family that comes from the Ms and their friends/family/followers. They certainly aren't doing themselves any favors with the recent posting rampage. SMH

The scheduling order is only for SM. Leave it to My Horry News to get that headline wrong.

Also the jury selection is going to take place at the Horry County Justice Ctr., so maybe the trial will not be held in Charleston.

Is nobody going to hold TM accountable for violating gag order with her FB posts??!!

I wonder if it hurts to be so full of shiitake?

I think we ALLLLL know that if TM had the info/evidence that she claims to have about our dear solicitor (or the lead prosecutor, or TE, or anyone else involved in this case for that matter) that could "expose" him, she would have shared it with the world on a HWY 501 billboard a LONGGGGG time ago.

GET REAL, GIRLFRIEND. No one is buying what you're selling here.

WMBF has posted an article this evening. Unlike My Horry they seemed to wait in order to be more accurate.

http://www.wmbfnews.com/story/31551...ce-charges-in-heather-elvis-case?sf23052679=1

Here are some of the details they have listed:
The order lists a schedule leading up to June 20. It is listed below:

April 4 – Deadline for filing all pretrial motions

April 15 – Opposing counsel responds in writing to all briefs filed in support of pretrial motions

April 18 – All pretrial motions that counsel or court want heard prior to juror questionnaires or juror summons being sent out by the Horry County Clerk of Court

May 2 – Eight hundred juror summons and questionnaires will be mailed out

June 2 – Questionnaires are due by this date

June 3 – List given to the sheriff’s offense on no responses

June 13 through June 17 – Final hearing dates for any and all pretrial matters that need to be resolved prior to trial.

June 17 – Attorneys to provide witness list to the court

June 20 – Jury panel arrives and the qualification process begins. A jury will be chosen and the trial will begin upon qualification of the panel

June 27 – Trial continues if necessary

I would feel a whole lot better if they announced a date for TM's kidnapping charges. Why are they being tried separately when they were going to be tried together for Heather's murder? The thought of her wiggling out of these charges worries me. I just feel so strongly she was heavily involved in Heather's murder and kidnapping. IMO. She is diabolical and needs to be off the streets and locked up for a real longtime. LWOP would be so much more fitting, but that won't happen for a kidnap conviction. Where are you, dear Heather? Show us a sign, please. Help us get you the justice you deserve.

I'm thinking they're getting the "easiest" (if you call it that) out of the way first. And she gets to sit in her shiit a bit longer.

"June 27th, trial continues if necessary."

I hope that doesn`t mean that this charge could be dropped.

When I had jury duty at that courthouse, every single case got settled. Only one went as far as having a jury selected and seated. That one was settled too, not long after the jury was seated.

What was the nature of the cases you spoke of that got settled? If they were for criminal charges like murder or kidnapping how were they settled?

Not sure what was more accurate with WMBF's version? MHN just posted the news first and included the court schedule document in the article.

Unless you are talking about the headline? MHN did correct and added this statement:
Editor's Note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly said Tammy Moorer's trial date has been set. The scheduling order was for Sidney Moorer's trial date only. A date for Tammy Moorer's trial has not been set.

I think a lot of people assumed the M's would be tried together like they have been since the beginning.

The only way this is going to be "settled" prior to a jury trial would be for SM to plead guilty.

By trying SM first with kidnapping and lying to LE, I think the State is trying to set precedence for Heather's murder and TM's involvement.

I know it's just a TV show, but in episode five of The People vs OJ Simpson, Johnnie Cochran says, "We’re here to tell a story. Our job is to tell our story better than the other side tells theirs.”

I just hope the State has a better story than we've heard so far.
