Jodi seems more confident with the story she's going with now. The lie about Travis being a sexual deviant has given her much more confidence.

IMO she was more confident because she finally figured out a way to continue to kill Travis. I really think she wanted this trial for the sole purpose of dragging Travis through all the pedophile crap. She knew she would be convicted of 1st degree murder but she so badly wanted a platform to decimate Travis completely. This trial has given her exactly what she's always wanted.

She couldn't wait to shout to the world she was having sex with Travis and that he wanted her sexually.
