Anyone else remember way back in the day when the primary argument for televising trials was to open the process up to taxpayers?

Ah, the good old days when sidebars were relatively few and objections - along with rulings - were read into the record, publicly.

OK LET'S NOT ALL PANIC :panic:

Remember we have Janine in house today... she's going to be able to tell us the body language of the Jurors & how this is being "accepted" in the courtroom...

I have a feeling Mr Dr Up to No Good is going to spill the beans make an errant reference somewhere like his comments on "stories" & "acting" etc.

Trust me even if this is DT is playing games..
SHE ADMITTED TO KILLING HIM
SHE ADMITTED TO LYING TO EVERYONE UNDER GOD'S GREEN EARTH (I'm sure Doc too!)
EVERYONE HATES HER & DONE WITH THIS CHIT!!!

Let's see what the Juror questions for old Doc are.. remember what JA got "Ms Arias what's your definition of a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬?"

FWIW
Jean Casarez on HLN said that the Jury is paying close attention to him, not making any notes, and one male juror is leaning forward in his seat,in rapt attention to what he's saying - something she has not seen him do before.

WAIT!!!

Is BRYAN CARR in court today???????????

Is that who we keep smiling at? Winky Winky lickin lips at??

Samuel is going to get in trouble with the AZ boards over Arias I bet yea. He can't be the mediator of cards to her attorney while she is in jail while he is "evaluating her". He can't be giving her gifts while he is "evaluating her". He is suppose to be objective! What a laugh.

Jean Casarez just said that the jury seems to be very interested in this testimony. She said it was one of the first times she saw a male juror leaning forward.

Willmott asked the Judged not to have "speaking objections". What is the alternative?

I'm not a lawyer, but I think they just give the reason for the objection, such as "asked and answered", "leading", "foundation", etc., and not the long-winded, "this is the bajillionith time he asked this, blah, blah, blah". hth

Everytime I see her smiling I would really like to just smack her mouth, just saying.

The worst one that I know of was the DT seeking to preclude Travis being called a victim in trial.

WTF? If someone stabbed 29 times, nearly decapitated, shot in the head, and left to rot in the home he lovingly decorated himself (with Martha Stewart's help) isn't a victim then I might as well start wearing a crown and calling myself the Queen of England! (Instead of just on the weekends.)

http://www.courtminutes.maricopa.gov/JOnamesearch.asp?casenumber=CR2008031021 - Some motions can be found here but its bare skeletons, not a whole lot of context unfortunately.

It's unfortunate that court records in AZ state court aren't electronically kept like State District Courts. I'd be all over pacer to get the documents for us.
