Some jurors are looking a bit zoned out. No note taking seen at the moment. #JodiArias

Sounds like they have decided his testimony is a load of old baloney.

Do you all think we will get to juror questions today? If not, I am ready to log off. But, I don't want to miss the juror questions.

I don't think we will get to juror questions because both sides have to review them and argue if they are allowed in. JMO

Stuffed in a closet?

Now they are treating the doctor as a "victim" eye roll::::::::::

I guess that's except for when she slaughtered him. This is the most absurd line of questioning I've ever hear with a murder defendant. Who cares about any of this? This is insulting to the intelligence of the jurors.

I know of a couple men who have done this. Are you talking about the one the was convicted of stalking and attempted murder?

It was a former millionaire who was convicted of arson of his own home--he wore a scuba suit & gear and climbed out of the house with a hanging ladder.

I don't know his name.

I was just informed that court will start at 1pm tomorrow and will be dark on Thursday. I am trying to find out why now. #JodiArias

Poor jurors...

I don't see any note taking going on at the moment. Looks like some jurors are eyeing the clock more than the doc. #JodiArias

:what: You just gave me a bit of a heart attack right there. Can people actually, purposely throw a trial? Is that an actual strategy used by Defense Teams when they are up against an impossible case to win? Anyone?

IANAL -- but seems to me, it would not be defensible -- it could be considered subornation of perjury, or at least subornation of stupidity. In seriousness, I think it would go to legal ethics and would be considered at least contempt of court. if caught, that is... And some kind of conspiracy to subvert a particular verdict. IDK.

That would depend. Where a 75+ means a trait or disorder is likely present (which isn't the verbatim psychological response) its based on a spectrum of sorts depending on other factors within the test.

The first step is to evaluate the MCMI (which isn't as easy as it sounds honestly), interview the client at length, and then follow up with specialized or additional assessments.

The drug and alcohol segments would depict dependency though, possibly. Knowing what we know of her though such a dependency seems unlikely but because of that score I'd expect follow up to focus in part there. Honestly JMO from the little I know of it.

Meanwhile, found this interesting too:

That isn't good. Not good at all. MMPI.. too much validity research and quantitative research to know that it is very very reliable. The kink in the test is it is expensive. I don't know how expensive it is now. In the 90's it was $400.00. So the state paying for it might put the brakes on paying for it with budget cuts.

I would argue to "whomever" you want accuracy or do want cheap? Pick. If you want cheap find someone else. Bottom line.

Addiction Specialist tend to be bottom liners LOL

Remember that Jodi is a pathological liar. I'd bet my retirement that she lied throughout the entire short test. She lied to make herself NOT show ASPD (appear compassionate). She lied to make herself appear as an anxious victim.

I missed testimony

clip of what State played for you . . . where she is grabbed by a sweater . . . gun incident . .

look thru notes - any mention of what happened with sweater
no sweater notes
gun and ran out of closet

clip we heard was between you and Mr. Martinez . . . what you and Ms. Arias talked . . . yes

besides talking about the rope and the videos and going into the closet . . . she talked to you about the whole scenario .
yes
did she talk about his violence began in 2008?
objection

This is dreadful....I'm so pizzed....the THs are gonna give the day to DT....
I have a personal vendetta against Willie...but I wont go there here.

I hate this obvious manipulation of the witness. Its going to be SO much worse with ALV:banghead:

If all his interviews with Jodi were conducted behind a heavy screen and glass barrier, how was the good 'doctor' able to see her shaking?
And the review of notes and his spectacular memory was integral to his report, but his review of his own report wasn't sufficient to correct 'typos' in his evaluation of ptsd criteria?
Her journal and texts tell him a story, but what she wrote in her journal is not necessarily indicative of what happened (she wasn't assertive)?
I hope the jury questions are plentiful
