That was probably only her "murder suit" which she removed immediately after getting Travis' body back into the shower. I cannot believe she would have worn it outdoors.

MOO

Not to mention she did wear a long sleeved shirt in Utah after the murder where it was also hot.

And this too...

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Actually though, Jodi's answer is, "No, it's a penis."

I hope the jurors heard that idiot statement. I had to listen twice couldn't believe my ears. NUTS!!!!

I agree, that was probably the dumbest thing they said all day. Do they really think this jury is that stupid?

Wilmont was so transparent when she purposely kept leading Samuels into giving her the answers she wanted. It was so clear that he does not remember or never reviewed his notes with no dates.

I like that! Notes (Jodi' Journal) with no dates (very few with Travis) if you don't include her visits to his house. Dam_ stalker!

IMHO if you are trying to figure out why JA brutally and viciously murdered TA using logic and reasoning, then you are doing it wrong. While I agree there were definite steps taken that constitute premeditation, I don't believe those steps were taken as the result of a logical, sensible mindset capable of predicting cause and effect.

JA and TA had a complicated relationship that went through phases and evolved over time. The consistent through-line was sexual, and that's where I think JA started confusing violence/aggression and sexuality/physical intimacy. (No, not a sexual amnesia or whatever Samuels was talking about.) I think that JA fully bought into the double standard that somehow her sexual nature and sexual activities with TA reflected negatively on her, (as a woman,) in a way they did not reflect on TA. I believe that TA promoted that idea and was attempting to rid himself of her by shaming her for her sexuality at the same time he was enjoying her availability.

I'm not interested in a religious debate, but I've heard JA use the term "courting" (courtship,) which has a specific meaning in fundamentalist christian circles. While JA may have aspired to being courted and being a good Mormon and being in the "in crowd," she must have come to the realization ultimately that she instead had lost all self-respect. As a feminist I know many women, myself included, who have had to work through issues of self-identity as it relates to sexuality. JA made the decision to destroy TA as an object of her own self-hatred. After all, TA was going, (or had gone,) to the Bishop to begin the process of repentance and coming back into the Mormon fold. That was not an option open to JA without exposing her sexuality to the scrutiny of others, a much more dangerous prospect likely to arouse condemnation and disgust. (And she is one who, according to Ryan Burns, was socially awkward even in amongst other PPL folks whom she knew well.)

As another poster pointed out in a thread long gone, JA was jealous of TA's success; financial, interpersonal, material, familial, spiritual, all of it. I believe she killed him as the only means she could see to pull herself up from the bottom of the barrel, from depravity, from self-loathing. I believe she wanted power over him, to control him, to have the last word, to inflict as much pain as possible. I don't believe she was mad about any one thing; Cancun, the other women, being called a 🤬🤬🤬🤬, *nal sex. The paradox of JA's actions is that she killed TA to bury all the "bad" in herself, but instead she uncovered it for all the world to see.

Still watching here in Central Time, btw. I am very disturbed by the recent redirect testimony that since Jodi's account of the killing is so consistent is most likely true. Shrink is stating that if it was a lie the story would have changed. I don't agree - it has changed - she added the holster...for one thing, but she's slick, she knows she has to stick to her story.

Camera just showed JA's family sitting in the courtroom....with Katie Wick a couple of rows behind.

:)

Agree. and a hoodie with a big pocket would allow her to hide the knife/gun...and also protect her somewhat in a fight. And don't forget...she was coming from Northern Calif. where it is cooler in June. Even Los Angeles has some cool nights (and days, if it is foggy) in June...

it's warm in Yreka in June....Redding's summers are 100+....Yreka 90+.

The family is pretty much ordered not to make "faces" when they attend thanks to complains on the Arias side.

But this bish gets to do this?

http://youtu.be/WL8kV_B4AGk

On numerous occasions...

I literally want to slap her in the face. For taking Travis' life, for forcing his friends and family to live this grief and pain, for wasting massive amounts of tax payer's money, for making everyone go through this horrid trial. Alllllll becuase the BRAT didn't get what she wanted. :furious:

I would also like to have a "discussion" with her mother. For helping her daughter do all of this and continue to help her. YES I believe the .25 ammo sans gun found at the mother's house says a lot! I DO feel the visit to Jodi before she left on another road trip with a new rental car, new gun and books full of knives says a lot. I do believe her running to a newspaper trying to get pedophile letters published even after they are proven to be fake is disgusting. I can't stand her for involving the victim's family by making a complaint against them for supposedly speaking to the jury. That woman should NOT be allowed in court.

I am sick of of them all. Including her Aunt, Donovan(The tattletale bouncer), Bryan Carr, past High School friends and the rest of the giggling circus act on Jodi's side of the gallery. They are all rats who should no longer be allowed to attend. Leave the seats for those who really do care about this case and why this is all happening. Remove themselves so the family doesn't have to look at them and can express their feelings with their faces anyway they wish.

Whew.... I think it's time for an appointment with my own mental health specialist.

The one who properly diagnosed me with PTSD after I was in a serious auto wreck that shattered my body, entrapped my mother who could not breath and flipped our lives upside down for the last decade. I was alert and aware through every second of it. Unfortunately the spoiled kid who cared for no one but himself bashed his head and got a nice nap. No PTSD for him. Just his parents bailing him out of trouble again while he smiled and laughed in court.

I guess my tolerance for people like Jodi and their family is very low.

Apologies for the rant. :(

~~IMO~~

I don't think Willmott and Nurmi are doing a bad job considering the subject they have to deal with. They will have won if their client is not committed to death row. Jodi's in a controlled environment with them right now and still obviously a horror of a client.

I can only imagine how horrid Jodi was when the attorneys were privately meeting with their client for the trial prep.

In the beginning, Jodi wanted to act as her own attorney.

Nurmi has tried like crazy to be removed from this case.

I am hoping for the DP, but I don't see how her receiving LWOP would mean that Nurmi and Willmott won anything.

How long before HLN realizes this pause and go technique is not working at all? They are almost a good 2 hours behind and most people who want to catch up are just going to read online or watch it on youtube. Unless, the ratings are still at this point...but it still is really stupid.

Oh he didn't try too hard once the court agreed to pay him what his salary would be equal to in his private practice. It's all about the Benjamins really.

Where do I find the "clapping crowd" animated GIF?

Okay, so now he pulled on her shirt. What happened to the sweater?

The Defense wants us all to just go with the flow, ya know.

Holster there, holster not there. Body slam one day, tackle the next.

A man killed in his shower or a man that just passed away like a whiff of smoke.

We all must be too hyper-literal.

Right? I mean I kind of want to meet this guy just to see what other drivel will spill from his mouth. How does this guy get by in the world? He's so confused and bumbling, I can't even see him making it through a trip to the grocery store.

I bet there is an appeal due to inadequate & ineffective counsel.

Maybe Jodi played the psychologist game on him.

Not a lawyer, but I'm betting it's highly unlikely you'd win an ineffective council claim based on the testimony of an expert witness-especially your own.:moo:

JM had me laughing on my way home from work she he objected to JW leading during the "where she ran after getting the gun" issue and the good dr said "the hallway during JW speaking objection to JM's objection and when JM heard "the hallway" come out of the dr's mouth JM was like "let the answer stand" LMAO JW sure didn't like that:rocker:

I have always thought she had a big pocket like on a hoodie, and put the camera in there as she grabbed the weapon...

Maybe something like this?

And accidental pic happens when camera falls out of it
