Is it just me or is anyone else keeping an eye on the 5 golf pencils and tiny eraser on the defenses table?

Has Jodi taken over JW's chair?

Her fanciful continuum is so broad I think it could fit anyone and anyone situation.

Exactly. And Juan Martinez will fit Jodi Arias right in to it neatly and nicely as an ABUSIVE PERSON to not only Travis, but her own mother.

My daughters favorite song. We took her to see the Muppets movie when she two. She had her Foozie Bear and pink nummie nums.

Thanks for that! I was referring to the poem, when a pet or owner dies....

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

So Ms. Violette can define a healthy and unhealthy relationship. Sounds very subjective.

Patriarchal Terrorism... [here we go].......' isolated acts of aggression'....very hidden from everyone else, acted out only in family...Continuim of violence...

[Jodi was not part of TA's family---and they never even lived together---]

I bet she's going to apply that to JA's reports about Travis' behaviour.

Like nails on a chalkboard to me. Also ending each answer from the witness as "okayyyyyyy".

:banghead:

Sorry - being petty.

Mel

It reminds me of Joe Pesci in Lethal Weapon saying:

"ok, ok, ok........they EFF you at the drive thru, they EFF you at the drive thru"

Damn, I had to take my earphones out. AVL is talking about me (and countless others) who have been continually harmed (especially children) by abusers who use the court system as a tool.
Sorry guys - I can't take this. I need a hug. My daughter is somewhere around here... I need to hold her.

:beats: :beats: and hugs a'plenty for you, paperwing.

Holy hell. Why is it that everyone in Jodi's front row wearing blue ribbons!!!

Juan Martinez is going to flip this witness on her continuum alone. No accident he waited to bring out the violence of Jodi Arias against her mother until the very last day with Samuels. As it dovetails right in to this continuum describing Jodi as the "abuser" . Also this "isolated act of aggression" is supposed to refer to the MURDER?

I think the center of the issue will be that no expert can properly testify factually when their assessments are based on lies told to them during said assessment.:twocents:

Is she alluding to Jodi's family of origin... that Jodi grew up in an abusive household and that's her baseline normal?

  • #373
Any of the innocence and the ones taking the abuse all relate to Travis. He was the one who was physically and mentally abused. How can this witness testify that JA was abused when she was the one dishing out the abuse the whole time? All the way to the brutal, tragic end.

Far out? Wow--I haven't heard that one for awhile.
I don't think Juan is impressed at all.

I'll bet she listened to John Denver on the 8-track in her Pinto on the way to court.

We seem to be conflating families and couples with stalkers and their prey.

  • #376
Already tuning out!!! she has a very soothing way of speaking,,,as in I want to go to sleep when listening to her. I am not hearing what she is saying just the tone. IMO

  • #377
The only reason the Continuum is up on the board is to make Travis out to be an abuser.

  • #378
She keeps talking in terms of families and couples. Travis and JA were neither. I really don't see the point in this.

MOO

As isolated act of aggression, like say tire slashing/s, doesn't mean one is an aggressor.

Just checking in. It doesn't look like I missed anything important.
My son has to check into the hospital after school for a biopsy tomorrow morning. The x-rays show that it looks like a bone tumor on his arm. I am scared to death. Wish us luck.

My thoughts are with you! Nothing is scarier than when your child is up against something like that. When I was 10 I had one on my leg. Turned out to be a cyst that had grown around the bone. It was a scary time for my parents, but all turned out well.
