Respectfully, that'd be quite a parade!

I mean, he DID date a lot of women/girls. :blushing:

And I DO think TA's crapola early life was in part responsible for some of his neediness (not the right word, but stay with me, here) where women were concerned. He wanted to be loved and praised and in a committed relationship with a woman who lifted him up and admired him. I think this need for love enabled him to fall prey to JA. At least initially.

Please, no flames. It's JMO and what I see.

I agree. Plus, his upbringing made Travis more willing than most to give people second, third, etc. chances, rather than just writing them off as hopeless causes.

It's 11:26 at night and I'm holed up in this room, eating a basket of fries and a homemade chocolate milkshake.

Wow, I am surprised how quickly tables turned, I predicted that this morning but did not think they would turn so quickly.

I agree,

ALV is not stoopid, nor will she be off the stand any time soon. She dates way back to 1985 dealing with courts, she might do a double whammy and flip this whole thing, that is what she is being paid for, I will wait til Thursday or next Tuesday before I decide her testimony
I think Juan may get cross by Tuesday and I imagine she will change things up quite a bit in that time.

Can not remember the ladies name but ALV was said to work with her, She did like 26 years in prison for DV and was released and became a victims advocate while in prison and today.....however I am not familiar with her or how ALV was involved.

IMO: No Way. The only "flipping" that will go on here will be done by Juan! :rocker:

Pretty much when a woman is on trial, IMO.

I call it the weaker sex defense - it's disgusting.

That isn't to say that no female defendant has never been abused by her victim, but almost every trial I have watched a woman murdered a man, the defense tries to paint the victim as an abusive a-hole who had it coming.

If Jodi were a man, this DV expert wouldn't even be up there. The defense wouldn't have dreamed of smearing the female victim in such a way. If they did, every feminist group in the country would be marching on the courthouse.

But unethical defense lawyers don't bat an eye at trashing male victims.

All just IMO.

It's either self-defense, an accident, or Melanie McGuire's, "It wasn't me". Jodi has used two of those. Serial Killer Sheila LaBarre (domestic batterer who killed three young men after torturing them) used the accident and self-defense excuse at the same time for one of her victims. He tried to strangle her and then fell down and hit his head on the tub. Seriously.

It's extremely rare for a female killer to admit any criminal responsibility in a murder, especially when the victim is a man. A can you blame them when they have a legion of "feminists" ready to take up their cause? Even serial killer Aileen Wuornos had a militant "feminist" supporter who strongly advocated for her release and wrote in articles about how she killed seven men in self-defense.

What's happening? Woman approaches Judge with memo, then looked like a bailiff spoke to Judge, too. Now, a 10-minute recess.

Good question. I stepped away when they were at a sidebar come back and its back to the seal??

What on earth is going on now?

I saw that too....her saying "what's this? what are you doing?"

She just thinks she runs the show doesn't she... I can tell Nurmi is fed up with her behavior. He wanted to leave this case a long time ago didn't he? Now he's stuck with her.

I'm not a Nurmi fan....however, I dig his socks. alot :blushing:
the other killer told her attorney
you get over here right now!

Love. It.

I thought that the "men are evil" thing went out of style a long time ago.

I feel I'm back in the 70s with all this 'men are evil' 'women are good' BS.:banghead:

IMO

Someone must have passed gas in Jodi's direction.

We need a 10 minute recess to figure out who it was, get an order out on them and disinfect the court. She can't around any flatulence that does not belong to a supporter.

:waiting:

Mike B went back into chambers. Attorneys are still in courtroom, talking with #JodiArias. Not sure what's up at the moment.

and why have we disappeared again?

There is an excellent chance there is a survivor on the jury, and like so many here they know who the abuser is.

PLUS there is an good chance someone on the jury is or knows a veteran and finds it highly offensive to have Jodi's "PTSD" compared to what these troops go through.

I totally agree. When I said that it was likely that someone bonded with "her in a way", I meant ALV, not JA.

just to get some perspective on the 'seriousness' of their relationship...
Did they even get to 'I love you'?
Cause I don't recall seeing that.

It's after 5 here! :great:
I just poured a glass of wine.

Wine wouldn't do it for me, I'm afraid. Maybe Tequila straight out of the bottle? (And I don't drink!!!) :what:
