OOOooh it means she can't write RX's.

Well it says "Cancelled" on each of them and both licenses specify: "This registrant may only practice psychology under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist or board-certified psychiatrist. The supervisor(s) is/are identified as: Charles Thomas Stockton." Stockton's license was revoked 7/30/97 and she shouldn't have worked as a psychological assistant for anyone else without identifying them with the Board. So if she did, she didn't change the name of supervising psychologist. Does her CV name anybody she worked under from the time Stockton's license was revoked 7/30/97? She became a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist on 2/13/92 (set to expire 5/31/13). But that's different from a psychology license.

Ok OT pets...lol one beautiful Bengal we got from the local high-kill shelter, 3 :mickey:, one from the local humane society. We had a rescue Sphynx for a while but her care got to be too much with our busy lives...she now lives with a stay-at-home mom who spoils her with all sorts of blankets and love and cuddles.

Pictures! Maybe not here but I want pictures lol. They are sooo beautiful and I never thought I could have one...then we found her by accident at the animal control...given by someone whose stepdaughter was allergic. You pay a lot of money for an animal and then take it to a high kill shelter if you can't keep it? :waitasec: This is one of my fave rescues...I give a lot of spare change to them http://www.spotsandstripesbengalcatrescue.org/

Huh? Kicking her mother, kicking a dog, slashing tires, locking a cat up for 2 weeks with no food or water, not to mention the vicious butchering of Travis (you have seen the pictures haven't you?) and nothing in her life speaks of evil? And those are just the things that are known. I have a feeling there is a lot more that isn't known.

Yes, all the stories she told about her childhood and relationships, I guarantee everything is much worse than she said. Look at Clancy's account of the convention incident. JA talked about how she was such a victim of Travis's disrespectfully making moves right in front of her. She left out the whole stalker bathroom incident. (I was even sympathizing with JA on hearing her version, I'm a sucker and victim of Jodi's abuse!)

I so hope for rebuttal, JM has lined up the other parties in all these little stories she's told about to testify. Especially Bianca.

I think we needed a dedicated pet thread :)

It just dawned on me that ALV's testimony is generalized and anyone can associate what she is saying.

It kind of makes me wonder what the jurors have been through. I wonder if any of them have been in abusive relationships or if there was something that was said today that was something they themselves have done. I just think that if any of these people have been in abusive relationships, they are going to be offended that she is trying to act like she was in one. If any of those people have done any of the things ALV mentioned today, they might feel like "Wow, I've done that but I don't necessarily think I deserve what Travis went through."

Thankfully they have been sitting there listening to JA talk forever explaining all of these things. The jurors have asked questions like "Did he make all of the decisions on trips?", "Who paid for the trips?", "Who contacted who after relationships ended in each of your break-ups?"...there seemed to be quite a few questions that lead me to believe that at least one of them was already doubting that Travis was abusive and thinking it was most likely JA who was the abusive one. Really we could just go down a checklist of the things ALV said and name things that go along with the behaviors of abusive people. I think the jury will notice that and I can't wait to hear their questions.

Plus, JA already admitted on cross that she lied to ALV so...

I think it would be great if all of travis' female friends that Jodi was jealous of came to the court together. Maybe all sit together in the morning, so Jodi can see they are all there. Then, in the afternoon scatter them throughout so everywhere she looks she sees one of them.
Then maybe we can see that leg zapper in action!
Is that mean?

Maybe that was while she was doing her supervision time before being licensed?

She has never been a licensed psychologist in California, just an assistant under Charles Thomas Stockton until his license was revoked. Anyone could work as a 'mental health professional' in CA with no particular education or training at all, but she didn't become a licensed Marriage & Family Counselor until 1992. As you heard from her testimony, the grant money was there to pay her for that project she described--getting men reduced prison time in exchange for counseling--until the money ran out.

I don't believe any psychologist can. Am I wrong? Our psychologist friend always got my M.D. husband to write the prescriptions for his patients. Of course, he had to see them too, but rarely charged them.

Some of what you've written above is an interpretation from a prosecutor whose job it is to win his case.

A woman striking out at her mom while locked up in a jail - shows frustration, broken relationship, mean-ness, anger.... NOT evil.

A woman "claiming" she kicked a dog once while trying to convince a police interrogator how little violence she has in her - in a bid to duck a murder accusation - taken with a grain of salt. I don't like people who kick animals. If it happened - it's horrible and mean. But it's NOT evil.

Slashed tires... well - the media is having a field day with that, but there is a reason it's not in evidence. It's hearsay. Friends of Travis claimed he told them that she did this or that. At the time Travis and Jodi were in a very secretive kinky sex relationship. Not one of his friends knew about it. There's no way to put that into context. IF JA was stalking TA for real, and slashing his tires, I highly doubt he would be inviting her over for booty calls and phone sex.

Slashing tires is juvenile. Plently of people do crap like that when a relationship goes bad. It's abusive. It's NOT evil.

Butchering Travis - if that was planned and carried out as part of a plan - it is absolutlely, unquestionably evil in every way.

Killing a man in the heat of passion is also right up there on the scale.

What actually happened that day isn't known though.

You can try to guess - but a guess is a guess. If you guess wrong - does it make the person evil?

Everything known of JA during her life shows her as a kind, sometimes "doormat" girl who depended too much on her relationships. Not Ms Independence. A girl who dated a guy who called her names in emails and carried out a secret relationship. That's not the picture of evil.

...and I want to add that even if Travis was abusive towards Jodi (and there's no real way to know that either) - he didn't deserve what happened. Might explain it - a bit - but it will never excuse it.

We got her as a little puppy, could see just fine.
We had a stalker. Lots of stories on that, but my little dog became one of his victims. Prior to harming our dog, he had served time for felony animal abuse.

Holy crap that's horrible! I would get banned from this board if I told you how I really felt about people like that, what the hell is wrong with people? But it's people like us who make it better.

That is in no way normal post break up behavior. It's psychotic. You are reaching right now Katie. Especially the violence against the mom part. That makes not a dern bit of sense.

This isn't a pet thread? I wondered why random Jodi Arias posts kept popping up amidst our kitty and puppy discussions!! :blushing:We'll get back to topic at hand. But a cute puppy story is always good for the soul!!
