I don't think Juan will be as aggressive with ALV as he was with Samuels because he won't need to be. She will be a state witness when he finishes his cross. She doesn't seem like the type to be all Jodi all the time, who thinks she's the best thing since sliced bread, even if she did slaughter an innocent man and I expect her to be fair. :twocents:

I'm an old cynic when it comes to defence expert witnesses, in any trial.

I expect LaViolette to earn her $300 per hour, and so does Wilmott.

I think her attitude will decide Juan's approach, but he'll get the job done. :twocents:

I believe that's the photo taken at 5:26:56. On the video montage it appears to be at the wrong orientation.

As to the flash/no flash shots you're right. Someone posted examples earlier of how white tiles appear yellowish or white under the different lighting. In my experience this has to do with the 'white balance' settings of the camera. You have to adjust the balance depending on the lighting and she may not have delved into the set-up menu of this camera.

Check the 36:20 mark in this video, Exhibit #156 at 5:27:58. That's the photo I'm talking about and it appears to be the correct orientation. Agree or disagree?

Another thing that has been bothering me about Jody changing her hair from blonde to brown during her trip to Mesa. Her hair was bleach blonde. When my hair was bleached out, I could not put another color on top of it unless I grew out my hair. Now, I know a professional colorists can change this back. I think she went to a professional stylist along her trip. Any hairstylists out there who can add to this?

I'm not at all impressed that ALV is making excuses for Jodi's abusive behavior. Travis was not the abuser. Jodi was.

Travis is the one she is describing as the victim who could not leave the relationship because Jodi the abuser kept returning. He tried to get away from the abuser.

My issues with this expert are that she only references the woman/female/her as the victim and the only mention/opinion/experience of men she has given is about them as the abuser. This expert is testifying to hypotheticals as if they are facts and that is so completely wrong on every level there is.:furious:

She does not have an advanced degree. But she does have her license as a marriage and family therapist.

I really hope JM emphasizes her area of expertise on cross. JA and TA were never never never never EVER getting married or having a family. Like, never EVER.

The domestic violence angle is just such a HUGE stretch, even for THIS DT. I don't even know why the judge is allowing the testimony. I know ALV interviewed JA, but so did 48 Hours. Why not call Maureen Maher to the stand! She got as much truth from JA as this expert! :twocents:

I love your hubby!! He sounds a lot like mine (we are beyond blessed, aren't we??) but I still can't get him interested in the trial. He has started asking me questions though but I think it's just to pacify me.

Awwww, you both have wonderful hubbies!!! Don't get me wrong....mine is very supportive of my trial addiction! He just doesn't follow them like I do and most of the info he has is what little he picks up in passing from the TH's! So his perception of what is actually the truth is a little misconstrued to say the least!!! So he was telling me what he thought about the trial and JA and, websleuther that I am, of course I am very passionate about my opinion and we got into a little disagreement. He can't figure out why I am so adamant in the way I see things in this case!!! Actually, I didn't mean to sound like he was being a butt, he just doesn't get all caught up in it like I do!!! :blushing:

I don't think this at all. Why? Because this heffa is SO vain and narcissistic that she wouldn't ALLOW them to dog her up if they could. No, this is a matter of someone in jail. They have no access to makeup or hair care products. A relative of mine got into drugs and at one VERY low point stole checks from a roommate for money and got arrested on a DUI charge. She prides herself on her looks and usually straightens then curls her hair and when we went to see her one day (while incarcerated) her hair looked like a bush. I said "what happened there" and she said they allow NO products except what you can buy at the prison store. I am sure if JA could, she'd be applying the make up ALLLLL day long.

Good morning, 'sleuthers. I haven't caught up on overnight/morning posts and watched only a little HLN commentary last night. I thought that yesterday's testimony was boring and totally unrelated to the case, and I'm not sure that I can listen to another round of campfire stories. I thought that JSS should have ordered Hershey bars, graham crackers, and marshmallows so the jury could make S'mores I hope the jurors can see through JW's lame but obvious attempts to further trash Travis with her rambling "hypotheticals". :furious:

For those paying attention we realize by now, sprinkled within the web of lies there lays (lies?) some twisted truth.

I personally thought Jodi's redundant proclamation to Travis' enjoyment to Spiderman might've come from her ex (much older) boyfriend Daryl's son. I thought perhaps this little 10 year old boy was seen wearing such clothing and Jodi took that truth, twisted in the lie, then called it her own.

But now.....here is a photo of Travis wearing the exact underwear that Jodi is using against him. I hope Mr Martinez sees this as I have, and uses it somehow to remind the jury just how sick and dangerous Jodi Ann Arias is in this world.
I sincerely mean this when I say it: Death will be a step up in Jodis' spiritual evolution because her soul is stuck on scary here on Earth!

That photo makes my heart ache. Here are parents who have so many issues they lose their children and then they lose a child to murder. I feel so much for this family.

Seems to me that her assistant's license was cancelled because her Supervisor's license was revoked, I'm wondering why HIS license was revoked:
