Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. My son's tumor is Malignant, we will be going to a pediatric hospital tomorrow.
I feel like I am still in shock, but I just wanted to check in and say I miss watching the trial with you all.

Dear Lord in Heaven! What you must be going through. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers! I am so sorry!!

I am heartsick now for you. This news has brought many of us to tears I am sure. I am praying for you, your family, your son and for the doctors to find the right treatment for him. Godspeed..

OMG THIS MAKES MY DAY I say warsh (from the south) and my mom did too. My daughter, who has dropped her accent as she went to school in NYC makes fun of me all the time!

Warsh your hands for supper (which is night time eating) vs. dinner (lunch time eating) :floorlaugh:

My accent is bizarro. It is southern most of the time, mainly around the like and when I talk fast, but I travel for a living and have to speak in front of people a lot, thus dropping the accent unknowingly. I also moved to the mid-west for a few years and picked up a bit of their stuff "noh" for no. I am a virtual English language mutt y'all.

Hey Peeps, please do NOT discuss nor email people connected to this trial. This is the type of stuff that starts on the internet and causes havoc with LE, news media, case players, etc. This is why you sometimes hear or see people say things about those of us on the internet watching these things develop. And it's not always nice things!

We all need to let LE and the prosecutor and the judge and the legal system take it's course. We all want JA to receive a fair trial because we don't want to have to go through this whole thing again. We don't want the defense to have ammunition for getting a mistrial.

Now please peeps, just wait while the people who know what they're doing take care of business. IF you need something to do, I have some yard work that could use a helping hand. :D or .......... maybe you could go out in your own yard and plant a beautiful flower in honor of TA or his family.

I certainly don't want the Alexander family to go through this nightmare again. While I think her "migraine" is convenient and probably fake, I would hate to see her use it to finagle a new trial. I sure don't want to hear her blather on and on for another 18 days. My thoughts and prayers are with TA's family. They deserve what little closure our justice system can afford them as swiftly as possible. :twocents:

People have always accused me of being a compassionate person. ;)

ETA: As you can see, I'm new. My one and only BBM attempt failed miserably. :)

Keeping you and your son in my thoughts and prayers Rosemary. Hugs!

So it's for sure a migraine on JA's part that got court cancelled??? Has anyone ever heard of SUCK IT UP????? I cannot believe she's allowed to direct the courtroom this way. Unreal.

Ok I'm running behind today... I'm sure this isn't even relevant to the current convo but...

JA had headache...

Hmm?? Think TA had "Headache" after having a knife stabbed into the back of his head?? There was no stopping her then!!

I hope to God she didn't say she had a "stabbing" pain when describing her Migraine!

Sorry venting vent vent.. Carry on! ;)

Here ya go!

I'm sure tomorrow we'll hear all about migraines being a classic sympton of a woman trapped by DV.

Good points. And lets not forget - if she was forced to come to court ill, that would probably be a slam dunk appeal, because I know when I get a migraine, I can't think at all, and I wouldn't be able to participate in my own defense. If she couldn't assist her attorneys, her rights would have been egriously violated.

At the end of the day, much as I hate her, she has rights and I sure as hell don't want to live in a country where a defendent has no rights.

How about a country where the Victim has just as many rights?

I responded to this "mistake" earlier and will respond again ...

The threads were moving fast and what I was responding to did not have LWOP -- it had LWP ...

As to the judge, she deserves to be ridiculed, IMO, whether it is this trial or another ...

She has absolutely NO CONTROL over the Arias Trial and is letting the defendant and her team "run the show" ... very incompetent, IMO ...

:moo:

Totally disagree. If she was biased on the defense side, she could have simply ruled for them on their mistrial and death penalty motions. She rules in the state's favor on many issues. She overrules defense's objections all the time. She also overrules JM's. There's no bias there.

If migraine is severe, you CANNOT drive or stand, much less go to work. You don't suck it up! You guys are insulting those of us who really do get migraines. Please stop.

As for Jodi, we can all agree she may be faking illness.

yep...I had to "suck it up" because I had 3 little ones to care for. I definitely could have managed if all I had to do is sit in a chair! That would have been awesome!! :twocents:
