God forbid if they ever take my pc. I will be locked up for life! All from following & researching these trials.

I know!!!! Ive joined some weird groups to sleuth certain suspects....:blushing:
I'm just hoping the puter forensic peopl would also see my WS history and would connect the dots! Lol

Oh oh oh...not to mention--i wouldn't commit a crime!!!:floorlaugh:

I know of an injection that they can give JA that will rid her of the migraines, permanently. jus sayin

I have a question, why is the diary regarded as a legitimate source? I mean, she had a lot of time in prison to fake entries.

Excellent question. I think the 'torn out pages' were completely bogus. Another thing they know the state can't prove.

I don't think the law requires that.

I dunno. Our legal experts have proffered that they believe avoidance of mistrial is exactly why JA and her posse are given so much consideration.

But IANAL, just a reader. ;).

The rate df domestic homicide here must be staggering. It seems like it is almost every day. The night before last some guy went to his gf's and caught her with new bf. He pounded the guy to death with a hammer, then they took him to the Rez and set him on fire. I'm not kidding! This is just another day in the desert.
:desert:

Hey Donna..

Was that the missing Vanessa from an Apt in Tempe/Mesa I think? The other night?

Btw if they killed him in apt in town but set fire of body on Rez who handles it? Pima Rez Police? or Town PD or MCO? Just curious...

They are but I don't think this will be lost on the jury at all.

Coming late to the JA show today...but how is it that court times are difficulty for the defendant? In her numerous road trips, including her trip to shoot and slash the throat of TA, it appeared all the defendant need to do was drive for several hours, pull the car over, take a nap and continue road trip. Now she sleeps in 'community housing',her meals are prepared for her, she is transported compliments of a county driver and she doesn't have to even pump her own gas and she is tired and hungry?

JA isn't liking how things are going down in the court and she doesn't want her daily excursions to end.

Have the doctor check her out and get on with the trial. She is holding everyone hostage.

Help me understand what significance there is to a rope. IF she was "noosed" behind the headboard, so what? She was a willing partner. It's not as if TA tied her up against her will to "have his way with her". Again, so what?

The rope is the reason the knife is in the bathroom. It's crucial to the defense.

See, this is what's perplexing. Rope or no rope? Either side could test the fibers against the pillows and slippers to see if they match. The defense could test them to see if they match any known "rope" fibers. I don't think it was truly a rope but more like decorative cording.

This issue could easily be put to rest by either side if they just test the fibers. It could prove an aspect of Jodi's story or prove another lie. But neither side has tested them. WHY NOT?

Because it's not rope. Flores said it was not rope but a decoration. They did not test it because Jodi never mentioned rope until she decided on self defense. DT used the decoration on the stairs to make it seem as if it were part of the soft decoration rope. It had not been tested because it wasn't rope. jmo

CASEY GWINN, District Attorney in San Diego, has been my JUAN for years

From his article about Domestic Violence Flu during a few weeks in 2009:

The next time you hear someone say they cannot afford to keep a Family Justice Center or domestic violence shelter program open because of the economy, ask them to read this article. Next time, you hear someone say that we don’t need any new, evolving, innovative approaches to family violence prevention because our current service delivery models are doing the job well; ask them to read the list of 68 names from the 52 bloody days of domestic violence in 2009. Don’t be silent; don’t let elected officials, or policy makers, or bureaucrats, or disinterested community members ignore the tragedy of domestic violence. We must address swine flu in America and around the world but we must also take guns away from men who are violent and start spending the time, energy, and money necessary to stop the pandemic of violence by men against women that is destroying families, killing women, men, and children, and continuing to destroy the lives of so many.

And Casey is not "some man-hating feminist." He has been a champion defending victims for over 30 years.

Maybe so, but so many hurdles to overcome there. Matt was represented by Jodi's ex-public defender (Victoria Washington). To get past that will be huge, for attorney/client privilege, etc. IMO. Plus that guy is shady as heck. IMO.

All true, but he was deposition'd by Juan months ago and I think something big came out during that. When he cross examined JA he mentioned Matt a few times and left it at place that gave the impression there was more to come. Also, Matt was originally on the defense witness list, now he's not. Either it was a bluff by Juan.... saying.... go ahead, call him and see what happens, or he will be on the stand during rebuttal. Personally, I think we will see him at some point.

Thanks for the photos in a time format :rocker:
Do you have any ideas to Why some of the photo's have time stamps and the others do not?
Could the camera going through the wash cycle have caused these photos to be out of focus; such as darker to lighter?
Also, the photo at the 5:25:00 mark shows spots?

What makes you think JA coaxed Travis into taking a shower?
IIRC on cross Juan showed the photos of Travis with a shaved face Prior to entering the shower..
just curious ;)

All the photos have a timestamp from June 4th. The ones that don't were below the screen capture during the trial from the overhead projector.

http://www.hlntv.com/article/2013/01/18/jodi-arias-murder-trial-week-3-recap
Courtroom watchers were stunned when Mesa police officer Michael Melendez testified that he recovered date- and time-stamped naked photos of Arias and Alexander that were previously deleted from the camera found in the washing machine.

I'm having a hard time accepting that the police didn't think fibers at a crime scene aren't important.

They did. Detective Flores said they spent 3 days at the house as he didn't want to miss a thing. And they were able to link the most important fiber to JA--her hair, the root bulb intact, mixed with blood.

In Day 2 of the trial, they played Detective Flores' phone conversation with JA and at 28:40 he asks her about the edging. But legal observers blamed the prosecution in several high-profile cases for losing the jury with too much minutiae.

Now that JA has admitted she murdered Travis, what further value do you see in analyzing the fibers?

You have to wonder if Jodi knew about the friends of Travis who claim he told them shortly before he died that if he did not show up at church one day that they should check on him because he probably would be dead before she put in her self defense plea. This does not sound like a person who just happens to have a gun lying around that Jodi knew about and decided to bring a very sharp knife into the bedroom to cut a rope when scissors would have worked just as well. Does it???? And if he did have the gun and he knew she was aware of where he kept it why would he have gone after her knowing she grabbed the gun???? Then try to attack her when he clearly sees the gun?

Based on his expressed fear to his friends when he said he was not kidding it sounds very improbable Travis would not have reacted the way Jodi claims he did. He also made a comment about hoping not to be "dating an axe murderer." Travis had some realized fears. We have all seen the look in Jodi's eyes when she is confronted with something she feels she can't control. There is an old saying: "If looks could kill." Some days Jodi has that look. jmo

I have thought the same :rocker:
I hope the Jury also sees how JA weaves her stories to cover the 'compelling' evidence against her!
This type of stalker mentality Do threaten in ways that make one think they may be killed.. such a shame Travis was a trusting person and didn't take JA seriously; hoping this case sheds some light to others who may be or have been in same situation to take precautionary measures and :please: pay closer attention to those psychos!

You don't think the defense would love to prove there was a rope?

ETA: the rope is what puts the knife in the bathroom. It absolutely has something to do with self defense.

How? Where are your "known rope fibers?"

Not going round with this one any more

I guess she's not happy because it seems Paris Hilton was treated much better when she went to jail. :floorlaugh:

I'm beginning to think that JA's migraine today was a defense ploy to not give Juan the advantage of having the last word with this witness going into the long break. Just sayin'

All I did is get one haircut. There are people posting there who've donated several times and are teaching their children to do so as well. I just wanted to draw attention to the cause. Since so many of the members here are women I figured there's a lot of long hair out there.

When my DD was 5, her first haircut was a donation to Locks of Love. I, also, had been growing my hair to donate.

They had to divide DD's super thick, curly hair into 4 ponytails to cut it. And the hair was down to her behind! :what:

Mine? One loosely contained ponytail of fine, straight hair. Barely down to my bra strap.

But that was such a neat memory! Her first haircut and for such a great cause! They even sent her a thank-you. :).
