I care - I don't want the jury to see her being ill - that shows a human frailty. I don't even want the jury to know why there is no court today. I don't want them to see a thing that might make them even want to feel a bit sorry for her. Let her go back to her cell and play pitiful - that I don't care about as she already has all her pals back there on her side.

Yeah, her gal pals in jail think JA killed Travis because he was an abuser and that JA killed him and chopped up his body and spread it all over town! That is the mentality of her new friends.

I think JA is acting out this week, cause she liked having all the attention on herself and now someone else is getting the attention and no one is looking at her anymore.

If I was an Arizona taxpayer, I would be livid. So now the wtiness probably has to stay longer and she is probably getting paid a amount / day , lodging, meals, rental car etc. So JA has migraine. Big deal.Why does everthing revolve around this piece of trash? Just look at the number of people and the expense involved with JA having a headache. I have a damn headache and I am working. JA can lay her ugly head down on the table and close her eyes and keep a trash can near by incase she does vomit.
Unbelievable the turmoil this one monster has caused.

It was reported earlier via a WS member than HLN said she went out crying when the trial before (murder via a screwdriver, iirc) was sentenced to LWOP.

I'm wondering if HLN is misreporting about Samantha. The case involved a guilty plea and the sentencing options were 25 years to LWOP. He got the maximum sentence, so I think this is more of HLN's erroneous reporting. The state was pursuing the death penalty, but the guy copped a plea today before it went to trial.

IDK how the family feels and don't pretend to. If it were me, I think I might be relieved at having the person admit to guilt and seeing him get LWOP. While I can understand the family wanting to see the DP, if this is what comes out of the trial, the family has years and years and years of hearings ahead of them.

Imitrex under the tongue works in fifteen minutes, shot of imitrex or toradol works almost immediately. This is absurd. She's already on enough tranquilizers that she looks nearly catatonic. Give her some migraine medicine, take the ridiculously long lunch break that you usually do, and put her butt in the defendant's chair. No reason whatsoever not to get at least some testimony in today. It is not like she was on the stand. All she has to be able to do is aid in her defense. It is her witness...so its not like she needs to even do anything.

This Judge needs to seriously start making these people work.

It's been said before, but why on Earth are they not in at 8am, 45 minute lunch, 15 min break and out at 5 or so? Just so odd.

This Judge is the worse and acts more like a hallway monitor than a court room judge presiding over a murder case.
But I don't know the law when it comes to a defendant or any litigant for that matter, claiming sickness.

I can't wait for the Human race to become telepathic so all suspecting nonsense will cease. No more lies. Only truth. Wouldn't that be great? But I think the rate our species is evolving, an asteroid is more likely to intervene first!! *sigh*

I think that Jodi has been heavily medicated every day that she hasn't been on the stand, which would account for her long long longggg periods of gazing off into nothing. I'm guessing either anti-depressants or anti-anxiety.
