Ok.., how about if it was you on trial for murder and you were actually innocent...

Rights are for everyone...even dispicable murderers like Jodi. IMO

Yep. I mean, technically, in the eyes of the law, she is INNOCENT. Because she hasn't been convicted in a court of law.

Yet.

And ITA with the WWYD scenario. Jodi is in JAIL, undergoing her trial. She is not in prison.

As usual, Linda, spot on. :rocker:

But she isn't. I used to skip breakfast and lunch. Never got a migraine. She gets breakfast, a snack, and lunch.

I agree, the meal plan there kind of sucks and if it affects them it should change. But like I said, she looked plump and healthy for 5 years. She is just not eating. That's her fault.

But I refuse to feel sorry for her because being on trial for the DP is stressful. First off, she's a sociopath. She feels right as rain right now. Second, if she had never brutally slaughtered Travis, she wouldn't be here right now and could what ever her heart desired. And third, it's just an act. She was on the stand for 8 days and at the trial for more and nothing was made of it. Juan started grilling her and all of a sudden she has migraines. Again, the spot light is off her, her reality is sinking in, and she realizes just a dizziness won't get court cancelled so she goes into the migraine, nausea act.

Maybe the website is not updated yet?

MM has not testified yet he is on the list?

I' m wondering if that may be an earlier dt addendum . Today's docket is not showing anything new since the hearing and yesterday's witness addition by the state...

Somehow I think not. It looks pretty easy to me. All she does is sit there and lies through her lying mouth.

You're right, that's my dream life. Forget Hawaii, I wanted to fight for my life on national television with no food or sleep for my Spring Break! :p

I am not a Jodi fan. I think she is guilty of 1st Degree. I just don't feel the need to demonize her to the point where we dehumanize her and suddenly we're talking as if we ourselves have no human decency left. Protecting her right to a fair trial (1. So there is no mistrial and 2. To protect my own rights), and bringing an end to this quickly for the family, is what I care about.

Thank You Hally.
Well said.

The courtroom hours listed just above your post are even shorter than the abbreviated courtroom days we've had to-date.
(no afternoon session Thursday and then Monday will be dark as well)

I realize Judges & attorneys have other cases and work to attend to, but this is a high profile death penalty case.
Judges and attorneys have associates that should be attending to all but emergency situations.

This case SHOULD be top priority for this Judge.
This drawn out timeframe is just wrong.
With the long breaks, late starts (judge always saying ... 'we'll start back promptly at ____', but that time is always later than she said it would be), working 1/2 days, routine hour & 1/2 lunches ... I could go on & on.

I'm sure JA and her team think this is all just great. (mis-guided theory that the longer the jury sees JA - the more they may bond with her).

Where is the respect for the jurors who have put their lives & families on hold?
Where is the respect for Travis and his family? They are the true victims.

Judge ... I too have tried not to say anything disparaging about the way your courtroom is run.
Somewhere along the line though, you've lost control of YOUR courtroom.
IMO

What the fudge ?? Really ??

Those other people have the right to a speedy trial and are every bit as important as Jodi! Lady Justice is blindfolded for a reason.

Now you want special treatment for Jodi?

We also heard Travis calling Jodi his girlfriend on the 🤬🤬🤬 recording. just sayin'

We heard testimony from one of TA's friends while they were in a restaurant that Travis denied she was his girlfriend right in front of her. And that did not deter her.

She can buy snacks at the prison. Between breakfast and donner she is not at the prison and has no access to food. Again, even her lawyers cannot get her something. Even the judge cannot order it. The county jail where she is held during the day must approve

And yes, here we are again. There was a problem the other day because it seemed the jail stopped provising her with any lunch again.

Spare you? Seriously, stop making this so personal. :/ I have no idea what i did to you.

Good night.

Some here are hyper sensitive if you show any sympathy to the defendant/defense or show any hint of criticizing the prosecution....even if you think Jodi's guilty as sin.
You just keep on keeping on. :rocker:

I've been hinting not-so-subtly that I think ALV is actually pro-prosecution.

Her testimony thus far has been manna for JM. This lady knows what's going on. I really believe she does. And JM is going to make the most of this gift!
So you think she's up there pretending to be testifying for the DA, but really is supporting the State?

Um. I don't understand?

I don't know that she's pro-prosecution, but she is neither stupid nor ethically challenged. She's well aware that people might assume she's anti-male.

This should be interesting! :seeya:

This is Jodi and we have to take that into consideration. She is always provided food for her lunch. It is up to her to pack it up and arrange to bring it with her. If she refuses to bring her lunch that would be her choice. Jodi does anything and everything to get attention. As we can see she had the judge jumping through hoops. This is what she does. jmo

I've been acting skinny and bony ...it isn't working for me! ?!!

That's not what I am doing. When Jodi initially complained about her lunch schedule and I learned how often she eats I expressed sympathy for her. At this point, it's just Jodi's little narcissistic "I'm gonna kill myself act." The judge has already looked into this. And whatever needed fixing was fixed.

She's just prolonging the inevitable.

ETA: Also, my initial post wasn't addressed to anyone. People started responding to me and I responded back.

This is getting so ridiculous.

Why do you keep refrencing her weight? Calories are controlled daily. She is getting wnough calories. But that doesn't mean she's getting them at appropriate times. It's great not eating for 12 hours isn't a problem for you. You're am exception. Look up hypoglycemia. It's a physiological reaponse to low blood sugar due to not eating. Feed her properly and if a new illness pops up then I'll aologize to you. But I do recall that for the period the jail did feed her lunch, we had a couple weeks without any interruption.

And who said anything about feeling sorry for her? I can recognize physiological and biological responses to stress, not eating, not sleeping, seperate from any emotion.

Um. I don't understand?

She's just plain telling the truth. Refreshing, isn't it? Some of what she is saying has more to do with Travis than Jodi.

I totally agree! How hard is it really to make her a couple extra peanut butter sandwiches?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree. Give the defendants extra calories. I'm even fine with cracker/ snack/ protein breaks every couple hours. A few cheap snacks may make the difference between a full court day and a cancelled ($$$) court day. I am totally fine with making sure they have all the calories and water and potty breaks they need to feel comfortable to participate in their defense.

The bigger issue is to remove all the potentially petty/ minor/ contrived/ manufactured reasons to cancel court days. Give them a full breakfast with an omelette and fresh fruit. It is FAR cheaper than canceling a court day when the weeks are already "short". Respect the defendant as innocent till proven guilty. Respect the jury, and the tax dollars of the citizens. IMO. Calories are cheap.

Again, my biggest issue with it is that JA is using it to stop up the works. Those of you that know me via my posts know that I am big ole bleeding heart liberal. And yet, although I know in my bleeding heart that JA deserves to be treated as a defendant until she is convicted as a murderer, I am more annoyed by her grandstanding and drama queening.

Just give her a Whataburger in plain view of the jury and if she won't eat it, then eff her. Proves she is a big "no mas pantalones".

Ugh. JA is making me lose my religion, politically and ethically speaking. :(
