:blushing: I guess it is rumours as the only doc I can find is the protective order from today.

Elle. Did you see an official document on that site with a date.

She's just plain telling the truth. Refreshing, isn't it? Some of what she is saying has more to do with Travis than Jodi.

I'm going to wait and see on this one. She is up there as aDA witness. Paid for, by them. .. To come in and give impartial lessons on DV? I can see that JM has successfully fought for her NOT being allowed to assess TA greatly limits her ability to express the DA assertions and that's about it.

She's no shrinking Violet ( lol) and without question knows who is paying her bill.

that's a contradiction in terms! How insulting is that?? Travis' family and supporters should be the ones wearing that ribbon!!

Alexander family and Travis supporters should include a purple ribbon with their blue ribbon. This would make JA's head spin!

Didn't someone tweet that the jurors made audible noises (lol) a few weeks ago when they asked to go back to the jury room?

No way that the jurors were glad to have a day off yesterday. They already have a long weekend coming up! They didn't need another! I'm sure they are anxious for this trial to be done and over with. I know I would be.

And yes, the family must be really anxious for this trial to get over. :(

I can understand the jurors frustration when they come to court expecting it to be in session and it's cancelled. I was referring to the scheduled time off for Easter. They have no idea why court was cancelled today, all they know is they busted their behinds to get there only to be sent back home without explanation.

She is being fed. Probably better than many people who aren't in prison. She also gets better medical care than your average joe. All this carp about the food is baloney. She gets her breakfast, lunch and dinner. Maybe not what she wants when she wants it but, she is being fed.

moo

I heart you :)

  • #1,846
She can buy snacks at the prison. Between breakfast and donner she is not at the prison and has no access to food. Again, even her lawyers cannot get her something. Even the judge cannot order it. The county jail where she is held during the day must approve

And yes, here we are again. There was a problem the other day because it seemed the jail stopped provising her with any lunch again.

Spare you? Seriously, stop making this so personal. :/ I have no idea what i did to you.

Good night.

This was all explained quite clearly early on, when Nancy Grace went to the jail for her tour. The prisoners are provided two meals in the morning for their breakfast and lunch. It is up to them when, how or if they choose to eat them. Then they are given a pm meal. They are given 2500 - 2600 calories a day. That is more than any woman needs for proper nutrition. I would be fat as a cow if I ate that many calories.
And just look at her, how thin she has gotten. Do you think she's actually eating what they give her, the way she should be doing? I don't know if she's purposely not eating, or what her problem is, I really could care less. If she chooses to starve herself, well, good for her. She is a conniving, manipulative narcissist and will do anything, ANYTHING, for attention to try and make herself out to be the poor little victim. And personally I am :furious: and appalled at the way she is being allowed to manipulate these court proceedings. It is shameful and disgusting, imo. For those who can't see what this woman really is and is capable of, then they're just one more sucker on this psychopath's list. jmo

Ok I'll reword. Some here are hyper sensitive if you feel Jodi should be treated humanely.

Maybe it's because there was no court today, but I've noticed a lot of posters jumping on other posters just because they hold a different or "unpopular" point of view. It's tough to say though because you can't always tell someone's tone.

Again, that isn't what I did. I made no mention of her food in my initial post directed at no one. I was responded to and responded back. I feel like my original post has been mischaracterized. I simply commented on her sleep schedule with a personal anecdote. I never said Jodi shouldn't be treated humanely and have expressed the opinion in the past that she she be getting her food. But it's just a show now. She's getting her food and is still acting faint and dizzy. If she is too lazy to pack her own lunch then let her starve.

Mine has! It's called phone sex. His was pretty tame, imo.
I can't do it! I break out in hysterical laughter!!! Then I am hiccoughing until the end!!!
Do they live in a cave? Surrounded by no men? Ever? Like, ever?
more like missionary position only.
She has to be fit enough to assist in her defense.

Then she should eat!

so is this the real reason behind the "migraine" ? she saw MM name on the fifteenth supplemental list of witness?? damn, i hope so!!!
:giggle:

So you think she's up there pretending to be testifying for the DA, but really is supporting the State?

Um. I don't understand?

At the end of Dr Drew's show (I know no one watches)
A "jail official" came on

JODI is fed at 7:00am at the court house!!!

she then is allowed to take the other 1/2 (provided as "lunch") to
eat for well, LUNCH! She is then fed AGAIN around 6:00 to 7:00pm back at the jail!

Jodi has the OPPORTUNITY to eat at
7am
12pm
and
6-7pm

a normal "feeding pattern!

Good night.

She is in the Maricopa County Estrella Jail not prison.
She has been there since 2008
The inmates only receive 2 meals a day in Maricopa County Jails, the jail does not provide a "lunch".

1st meal brunch, cold sack (or as inmates call it a Ladmo):
Fresh baked daily bread
Peanut butter (5 days a week)
Fresh citrus (lots of oranges and grapefruit)
Snack (gingersnaps in the sample meal for NG)
Milk

2nd meal dinner, hot meal:
Casserole/stew
Broccoli
Fresh potatoes
Citrus
Milk

2,600 calories a day

This defendant is no different then the hundreds if not thousands of inmates before her that sat in court daily for their trials.
She should not receive any special treatment, just because her case is high profile.

Also, how many people actually eat fresh baked bread and fresh citrus daily in the real world, not very many.

Man, I hate when my posts get deleted.

But, I guess that's what I get for having a smart mouth, apparently breaking TOS, and then going off to have deviant times with my husband. :sigh:

:highfive: on the deviance with Mr. HopefulOne!!

Yeah I had one deleted today too...I was very naughty though....(but funny :whiteflag:)

Dang....y'all get greasy fast food burgers AND sex....I gotta move out of the woods.... :)

So you think she's up there pretending to be testifying for the DA, but really is supporting the State?

Um. I don't understand?

No. I think she is up there testifying for the defense team (DT), but that her testimony is really helping the State (DA/Juan Martinez).

Otherwise it would just be redundant.....DA=State. :waitasec:

I also don't think it's an accident. :moo:

juan's cross will bear me out, I hope.

OK. Just finishing up a heckuva work day that started way north of 6 a.m.... and I haven't eaten since snarfing down a gas-station-bought packet of almonds (YES I have my receipt and it was ONE purchase of almonds only, no gas) while on the road between meetings around 5 p.m... and it is a full moon in Libra... and oh my goodness please bear with me for this brief randomness/vent/blurt:

1. Malinger. Intransitive verb. To pretend or exaggerate incapacity or illness (as to avoid duty or work).

Example 1: "Trial watchers suspected JA of malingering as she desperately displayed her dubiously dinged-up finger during damaging testimony."

Example 2: "Diabolical persons, when confronted with certain exposure of their actions, may malinger in an effort to distract attention from, or delay, said exposure."

2. Love that we knew almost immediately what caused the court cancellation.... how long did it take the THs to figure it out? To all our folks with boots or Birks or heels on the ground in AZ to support Travis's family and who are so generous in sharing your observations with us: :loveyou:

3. Shame on HLN and Vinnie and that Joey person for that disgusting show. Travis is NOT on trial here. Sickening.

4. There is an invisible line across my home state, south of which one says "zink" for the thing in the kitchen with the farcet, and "warsh" for what you do to the dishes in the zink. We lived about an hour north of that line and I remember envying family friends from south of that line when we visited during my childhood. Late nights falling asleep in the "kids' room" listening to the comforting voices of the grown-ups downstairs having fun (and now realizing that they were letting their hair down because we kids were in bed)... So if you've been sharing accent-related posts, thank you for rekindling some positive nostalgia!

OK phew. I think that's it.

1. Please provide a citation for "Jodi is allowed/supposed to pack her own lunches up every day." I have never heard anything about allowing a prisoner to pack their own lunches for court. They never even get lunch at her jail.

2. Same amount of food, spread over a greater amount of time. You can eat 10 pounds of sausage at 5am, ot won't do you much good throughout the next 24 hours...

She is not suppose to eat it. They only serve twice a day. She can save the peanut butter sandwich for her lunch or she can eat it at 10am if she so chooses. Same as you and I when we pack a lunch for work. They are not expecting her to eat everything at 5am and they don't take away her fruit, sandwich if she is finished with her breakfast. Basically she has the same choices we do. You can sit at your desk and sneak a bit of your sandwich at 10am or 2pm. Whatever you want to do. You can eat your fruit at 4pm as a snack. Jodi is not different. She has control issues. I'd say looking at her she can control what she eats and feels she will get attention because she is not eating properly. That is her choice and if she continues she will end up in a infirmary bed with a needle in her arm force feeding her while she is tied down. (Just a little drama here). They will not let her starve herself to death believe it or not.

The state my sister lives in has amended the domestic violence laws because there were so many complaints and then the couple would make up or the women or man would change their mind. So now the state can still prosecute even if the victim decides not to go ahead with the case. I hope this doesn't stop women/men from calling the police. Once they do though they are offered all kinds of help. They offer women a place to go. They're offered counseling. If children are involved, the department of children and families gets involved, and the mostly women have to make sure the children are safe or they lose their children. Domestic violence is a epidemic not only in this country but everywhere.

I called for a civil stand-by (officer) while I was trying to move my things out & ex was being verbally abusive. While I was on the phone, he was yelling "stupid b**ch-you don't need a cop" --he trapped me in a closet, pushed me down and spit on me. I fought my way out of the closet with my fists--so he called 911, LE got there FAST then & arrested me cuz he had marks. LE yelled at me, lectured me, accused me of "clawing" him, which the ex stated, "she clocked me-not clawed me!" (BTW-I was 5'2--95pounds & he was MUCH bigger) I cried like a baby cuz I have never been arrested, fingerprinted--ANY kind of that stuff

After he stalked me, vandalized vehicles and my pets, terroristic phone threats--I called the police about the NO-CONTACT order I was given--they said he COULD contact me anytime he wants.

A month later, in that very small town, a woman was shot 7 times-dead, her estranged husband killed himself. Then all of a sudden LE wanted me to carry a DV phone.

I'm stopping there cuz I shake like a choo-ah-ah anytime I try to type about it.

Oh, I can't either. I make my husband do all the work in the phone sex department. I basically just stick to "yeah. yeah. ooh yeah. hot."

I'm lame.

I think she's testifying on her knowledge... Probably all in generalities and hypotheticals. Juan's will most likely all be hypotheticals too ... Unless she disagrees with something... then Juan can impeach her with her report on Jodi:)

Why do they only get peanut butter 5 days a week? Is it that expensive or is Sheriff Joe afraid of spoiling them with that high falutin protein? :floorlaugh:

I will link the interview with the jail official when it is available online tomorrow.
She is provided enough food for breakfast AND lunch.
She packs up whatever she chooses to save and eat for lunch at the court house. So yes she is responsible for keeping her food and not throwing it away.

JA is creating :drama:

Wow, she even lied to herself. Yes, she could have been playing a game knowing that her journal would be seen at some point, maybe thinking this would prove she was innocent, but I wonder if she just didn't lie generally in her journal, even before she killed Travis. Having no reason to ever think her journal would be read but just unable to be truthful, even to herself. Or maybe she thought that she would be famous someday and those journals would become her memoirs?
