So ms jodi is a kicker? She kicked her mother and her dog (a few feet)..wow! yet she claims Travis kicked her. I'm sure he did no such thing. It seems kicking is one of her defense mechanisms...not his. Yet she used that word to describe his violence. I am guessing it was the other way around. I would like to know her childhood because my guess is she was way out of control, just like FCA. She must have caused havoc in that house.

I have observed many people thinking of her as tiny. There was only three inches difference in height between Travis and her. She was heavier then too. She was a bully as a child and it carried through to adulthood.

Two Things.....

1, something that has probably been disussed but Ive never seen it.....she went to great pains to go on about how she and Travis were "doing the photo shoot" and she was taking the pictures and then showing them to Travis and he would review the shot and she would review the shot and they would decide to delete, she would take more pics, they would review, she would delete, etc. Well, looking at the timestamps and looking at the pictures.....I think it is obvious she was taking the pics surreptitiously until the ones with flash. Her story would indicate that either Travis got in and out of the shower to "review" every couple of shots and then got back in and posed for more, rinse-repeat, while they decided which to delete and THAT is impossible, looking at the timestamps. Alternatively, what was she doing, handing him the brand new camera inside the shower to "review" the pics in the water?? Was it waterproof?? Evidently not, since it was ruined in the washing machine. Even at that, the timestamps couldn't match her "photoshoot" story.

2. What kind of woman gets practically anally raped by an extremely angry, ranting man known to be violent who has previously tried to kill her.......has him finish and go upstairs......has her purse and keys with her, car is already packed outside the door...... and decides to follow that man upstairs while he showers to take "sexy pictures"??? NEVER HAPPENED.

Like everything else out of her lying mouth, it doesn't make sense.

I totally agree that her story doesn't add up with the evidence. The timestamps clearly show there wasn't enough time to review the pictures and delete the photos he didn't like. Many of those photos are seconds apart; hardly enough time to review them let alone delete them. It's clearly hogwash.

I also agree with your second point. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Here's another thing that makes no sense. Does she really think she's going to convince a jury that Travis would kill her over water on a camera lens?! Her story is as absurd as she is.

Here's a typical breakfast for male inmates in CA prison: juice, milk, scrambled eggs or oatmeal/frits, toast, sausage/or bacon/or meat and a fresh pastry, coffee/tea (decaf). They are given a bagged lunch at breakfast containing fruit and a sandwich (they call mystery meat). I have never witnessed any inmate eating lunch. They save their fruit to make pruno (prison wine). Dinner is large. milk, meat of sorts, veggies, pudding or fruit/jello and bread. Coffee/tea decaf.

I have a friend that said "Well, I wil never be in jail, so I am gonna try and make pruno". He did. In a plastic garbage can with ingredients they use in prison.
I refused to try it. It reeked! However the boys did get drunk! (they were 23) so I didn't really get it! Go buy some Boone's Farm and call it a night!

Obviously Donovan had no problem with the amount of food .. do a quick google search of "maricopa county jail women inmates" none of them are staving..

I believe they were all deleted. Some of them are stamped "unallocated" with date and time stamp, and some don't seem to have any information stamped on them at all. I am struggling with understanding that, and struggling to reconcile the extreme creepiness of those photos, the strange expressions on their faces. They look posed or forced.

But...JAi went to bizarre lengths to not be traced anywhere near Arizona, and wanted everyone to believe she was in Utah or "lost" on the way. She deleted and machine-washed photo evidence. Still something seems "wrong" about them. Hope that makes sense.

This was all explained quite clearly early on, when Nancy Grace went to the jail for her tour. The prisoners are provided two meals in the morning for their breakfast and lunch. It is up to them when, how or if they choose to eat them. Then they are given a pm meal. They are given 2500 - 2600 calories a day. That is more than any woman needs for proper nutrition. I would be fat as a cow if I ate that many calories.
And just look at her, how thin she has gotten. Do you think she's actually eating what they give her, the way she should be doing? I don't know if she's purposely not eating, or what her problem is, I really could care less. If she chooses to starve herself, well, good for her. She is a conniving, manipulative narcissist and will do anything, ANYTHING, for attention to try and make herself out to be the poor little victim. And personally I am :furious: and appalled at the way she is being allowed to manipulate these court proceedings. It is shameful and disgusting, imo. For those who can't see what this woman really is and is capable of, then they're just one more sucker on this psychopath's list. jmo

My exact sentiments! And if I may add that if she had a medical condition requiring special meal times, she would most certainly be attended to. Heaven knows that American prisoners live better and are treated better (example - sex change operations) than most people living in third world countries. She's a manipulator through and through.

She deleted ALL the photos from that day. As much as I hate to think it, I believe she is happy the photos were recovered. Recall she wanted to go back to the house before going to TA's memorial service, to revisit the scene of the crime. Got her wish, too.

I believe they took photos of each other--remember, he said in the taped phone call that he wanted to do a photoshoot 'like legitimate porn' which some of those images surely were? As to why she didn't simply take the camera or the memory card, that would be my fourth question to JA. Right after

This little psycho was, literally, a femme fatale. A deadly female who brought 'fatal' harm to men. JM and Detective Flores never doubted they had "a sexual encounter" that day, however they define sexual encounter. It wouldn't have to be IC. As soon as Detective Melendez told him, "Come over here, you've got to see these photos," as Flores related the conversation, they knew.

Ninjas didn't take the photos and the camera wasn't on a timer while Travis briefly left the room as she is photographed on an empty bed, only to magically reappear 50 seconds later lying on the same bed. Every man on the jury knows men have stronger sexual impulses than women. Which is why the timer theory is promoted here by a number of women, but no men.

Knowing how JA weaves bits and pieces of truth in her tales, I wonder if JA didn't seduce him in his office--she claims they had sex on the desk--as an excuse to get him to go up and take a shower afterwards...but then there is no soap visible in any of the shower photos. We know he'd assembled the floor cleaner and put up furniture on the sofa to get ready to clean the tile. But we also know someone was on Travis' laptop in his office until about 35 minutes before he went up to take a shower. Would love to be a fly on the wall to know how Detective Flores and JM believe it all went down.

Nope, another poster already explained that the memory card had all the EXIF data, including what camera took the photos, whether flash was used, etc.

All those pics were from Travis' own camera, no other.

JA loves food too much to deprive herself of it for too long. This is just a trial strategy. Once she is on death row she'll eat all 2500 calories a day plus purchased snacks. She'll look like a sumo wrestler at that point.

I've been naïve a few times during this trial that perhaps a family member or Defense expert does not really support Arias etc. Now I really don't feel sorry for any of them. I've thought long and hard and I've changed my mind. I don't trust this DV expert. She knows what Arias did and she chooses to testify on her behalf. She's sold her soul for Arias and that, unfortunately, will not do her good in the long term. She could have used this energy to help real battered individuals. I hope JM makes mince-meat out of all her testimony.

I have no pity for anyone involved in this trial except Travis, his family and his supporters.

but how far into the relationship did the physical abuse start? I get the battered woman syndrome, but what I don't get is why women don't leave at the FIRST signs of abuse, before it gets to that point?

I really am clueless, so looking for insight.

He was an emotional terrorist, control freak, isolated me, disparaged family & friends, no finances available to me, no vehicle, living in another state. He would say "Heil Hitler" after he made a demand, salute and all! Inspected the house, child and me everyday--I would PRAY that he didn't find something to go on a rant about. I could have everything PERFECT & he always found something. When I thought I had everything perfect, he would say I didn't get any EXTRA duties done. I worked fulltime, picked my child up from daycare, got his homework started, laundry, dinner, served his dinner on tv tray---I wouldn't sit down until after 10pm. HE ALWAYS FOUND SOMETHING.

"Sleeping With The Enemy" (Julia Roberts movie) but no "beatings"--sexual humiliation WAS included. Lots more but--reliving to remember ALL the specifics is ANXIETY inducing.

The photos look weird to me too. They seem strangely detached, more like shots meant to be taken with a camera phone than a real camera. They're just not sexy. TA being flaccid in the one shot isn't that appealing, and not typical of any porn I've seen. Unless those were just stills after they filmed a video on her Olympus. IF they took video, and with JA you can never tell when she is lying 100% or something short of that, did she keep a copy of the video somewhere before deleting it from her camera?

However, just 3 1/2 weeks earlier Travis can be heard on the phone sex tape talking in detail about the photoshoot he has in mind. He talks about specific shots he wants to capture and says, "It's going to be like legitimate porn." He also says he wants to take video.

Another thing: If I were shooting photos I wouldn't take just one shot of each pose, I'd be taking a slew of them so I could pick the best ones. But then others are more economical with their shots. His friends would know if taking few shots was typical of him.

But JM and Detective Flores know more than we know. While the first photo of JA is timestamped 1:42:53 and the two full-length shots of JA don't have any timestamps or other identifying information, Detective Flores wrote in his report that there are EIGHT nude photos, six of JA and two of TA, beginning at 1:40. We have only heard of four of JA and two of TA. The defense made a motion in July, 2011 concerning viewing the nude photos. For some reason they wanted to exclude two of them; perhaps they were unflattering shots?

I agree prisoners should receive the minimum. The idea that they even get to work out is not acceptable to me.

I did not get to read all of today's posts so if it was mentioned that JA is not eating and taking her meds to slow the trial, I can totally believe it.

The judge needs to take control of this courtroom and put a stop to all of this.

I need to go back and read a little just to catch up for tomorrow.

The concept of a last meal is ridiculous! Why should prisoners get a delicious last meal? And even if you want to indulge prisoners (yuck!) with one good meal why do it just before putting them to death? It's sickening! Why not give it to them when they first enter prison? Like 'Here's your one and only good meal on death row. Enjoy!' It's nonsensical in many ways. I don't know whose idea this last meal thing is but they ought to put and end to it. If it were upto me I'd recommend a 10 day gruel fast leading upto THE day. I'd be very very harsh like you.

I'm no supporter of defense attorneys and their witnesses. I'm glad I live in a country where we are guaranteed a fair trial, but I could never do what they do. It takes a "special" breed to represent child molesters and murderers - and when they choose that profession, they know what they're signing up for.

Representing people like C. Anthony and JA are just two cases where attorneys are willing to be labeled as dumber than a bag of rocks or outright liars. Buying into the fantastical stories of murderers, and repeating their nonsensical, ridiculous stories to a jury, shows a lack of common sense and just isn't something I would want to be associated with. I feel the same way about "expert" witnesses for the defense. My personal opinion of ALV is that she must be one of the lousiest victim advocates around, who can't see the forest for the trees, if she believes JA's "woe me" story.

She planned to have proof of it as well.
Those are pics that would not be shown to a jury IMO ~ but ya just never know I could be way off.

Yep - They should get their work out by doing actual work to defray the cost. For prisoners eligible for parole, maybe they'd think twice before committing another crime. The idea is to make prison an undesirable place to be.
