NG show ends with interrogation Jodi saying, "I didn't hurt Travis, if I hurt Travis, I would beg for the DEATH PENALTY."

How weird, I'm begging she gets the DEATH PENALTY too.

Whoa, the female ninja was concerned with who JA was, because she expected Travis to be alone:

JA: "Yeah the girl wanted to kill me too."
Detective Flores: "What did she say? What words did you hear, what phrases?"
JA: " 'Who is that? Who is that and I thought he was by himself or alone' or something... and he was like, 'just finish it.' And Travis was screaming the whole time..."

She's pulling this story out of her own capacious... imagination. An imagination that is populated/fueled/fed only by her own experiences and her own insecurities, because she has no capacity for empathy. So she creates an imaginary girl ninja who, in the midst of this grotesque imaginary ninja crime, takes time to be freaked out because Travis is unexpectedly with a female guest... just like she was freaked out by the things she discovered in her own stalking of Travis.

Wow. Just... wow.

Yes. They even go on to speculate that she's "that" girl from California...

Dang, it won't let me copy it, but here's an interesting bit:

Thus, what is potentially being compromised is the penalty phase preparation that requires extensive and unparalleled investigation into the person and family history of the accused.
This would include reviewing Ms ARias' school records, medical records, juvenile and adult incarceration records and other relevant issues.

JUVENILE and adult incarceration records?

That sounds like a reference to 'mitigation investigation'.

Katie DDJ was not called to the stand today, only JC
It was her picture used when Nurmi questioned JC

Dr. Drew on now....testimony from ALV and the defense having issues with Dr. Drew's "juror" (KW) and Juan Martinez posing for photos outside the courtroom.

(Get a life Nurmi)

MOO

Does the State spend this much defending every murderer or is there something special about Jodi Arias? Her DT seems to have an open checkbook and does not want to reveal what they are spending...

According to Deathpenaltyinfo - Capital cases cost 70% more than others.

In Maryland the average captial trial is $3 million
In Florida capital cases that end in execution cost an average of $24 million
In Texas a capital trial averages $2.6 million

So this cost seems pretty average - or below average.

What strikes me as odd among many things said in the Detective Flores interview, was Arias asking about the prosecutor. I'd bet my last dollar she already knew who JM was and how ferocious he really is..... now she will feel the panic Travis felt when JM starts his rebuttal case.

My beliefs also. She deserves nothing less.

I've never seen this??? What did she ask about the Prosecutor?

I never saw Katie DDJ on the stand today, did that happen and I missed it!!

I think I started that misconception. I was following here and there. I think the photo was just referenced (with Juan and Katie) when JC was on the stand. Sowwy.

Didn't you love when Detective Flores said "he's the number 1 prosecutor", he wasn't lying! :giggle:

Right up there for quote of the day, "I think jail is a pretty boring place." ALV

The new and improved Jodi ninja story. Just WOW! Having been an elementary teacher for many years, it was like one of those stories you get from a 2nd grader about their homework that just keeps building and building. At least an innocent little child isn't trying to get away with murder. How did Detective Flores keep a straight face?? What a story teller! Every time she didn't know what to say next she just buried her face.

Who knew I was abused?!?!?!?!

wow. I am 62 and have had sex too early, too many times and if I had sex again too early I would probably be "feeling used...doubting their relationship and full of self-doubt. guess I am immature. women seem to confuse sex with love and place value in the act itself. Men oftentimes place no or little value on the sex act and rarely confuse sex with love.
If I had sex with someone, I was always disappointed if I did not hear from them the next day. sort of a respect thing. Would feel the same way again today and would probably have sex too early again if I ever left my house.

The testimony hasn't covered abuse yet - just some of the early events in their relationship.

As ALV mentioned - the early sex, and the nature of the sex speaks to boundaries.
