Did you guys catch how Jodi says she spent months living at Travis' house? Where is the proof? And why does Jodi seem to know who, if true, Travis might have borrowed money from? "6K from somebody-no hurry or worries", "babysitter was going to Cancun cause Travis owed them money"???! Do you notice her attitude towards people with money, but she blames Travis even then. They can wait, even though she was doing the same to him.
I doubt Travis ever borrowed money from her, more like....asked for repayment of loans/bail out of some Jodi drama.
Has Jodi ever lived on her own, took care of herself?

i don't remember hearing that she ever had her own place. but i'm fuzzy on where she lived in mesa.

the part about her saying 'i lived there.....for months and months and months' is a lie, we know. she never lived there.

another lie she told was about the theft of the gun from her grandparents' house. remember that one?

flores asked her when that gun was stolen. she said 'i don't remember' but THEN said it was a 'few months ago.'

she also said in her testimony that her laptop wasn't in the house at the time of the burglary, but in the police report she said she found it in the laundry basket, where she hid it so nobody would steal it.

I am just absolutely DISGUSTED in this pathetic attempt by the <modsnip> to try and paint nasty Arias as some kind of Domestic Abuse Victim. It's repulsive and it negates all the MILLIONS of women around this world who are and have legitimately been abused. I am a DV Survivor, from the time I was in my late teens and all the way up until my early 30's I have put myself in situations and relationships that were abusive. I have had a lead crystal ashtray whizzed at my head that gashed the side of my head open to the point I had to have 10 staples in my head, I have had massive black eyes, punched in the face like I was a man, bruises all over my body, dragged by my hair throughout the house, running out my front door in nothing but my underwear and NO shoes in the middle of Winter screaming for help from passers by because I was being beat. I sure as heck didn't run BACK INTO THE SITUATION, I RAN AWAY FROM!!! I have stayed in shelters, went without, lost everything and much more horrific scenarios that happened. To have this sorry excuse of a woman have the NERVE to claim she was abused violates everything that is right and just. Travis NEVER abused her, if anything he probably treated her like crap hoping she would GO AWAY and since she is a crazy stalker, she never did. I just hope the Jury sees through her litany of LIES and understand the truth. I don't think I could bear the thought of another Casey Anthony Verdict. That's why I almost wish I never began to get interested in this case. I just do not trust humanity enough to think they will do the right thing and that is terribly sad.

Whoa, the female ninja was concerned with who JA was, because she expected Travis to be alone:

JA: "Yeah the girl wanted to kill me too."
Detective Flores: "What did she say? What words did you hear, what phrases?"
JA: " 'Who is that? Who is that and I thought he was by himself or alone' or something... and he was like, 'just finish it.' And Travis was screaming the whole time..."

She's pulling this story out of her own capacious... imagination. An imagination that is populated/fueled/fed only by her own experiences and her own insecurities, because she has no capacity for empathy. So she creates an imaginary girl ninja who, in the midst of this grotesque imaginary ninja crime, takes time to be freaked out because Travis is unexpectedly with a female guest... just like she was freaked out by the things she discovered in her own stalking of Travis.

Wow. Just... wow.

Naturally. She's the most important part of the story. Yes, there's that unfortunate "Travis is dying" part, but in the end, it always comes back to the Jodi Show.

Oh, and don't forget the accommodating nature of the ninja elite. She was wandering around, going to Travis, charging people, apparently the ninjas left at some point for a sandwich or something -- note that she never bothers to add "it all happened so fast," because if that was true, she couldn't have such a long-winded tale featuring acts of Jodi heroism.

Boy, you couldn't have said it better. Wow!!!!!! Just...wow.

No, she always lived off of boyfriends, grandparents, roomates (where she did not pay rent) and Travis.

She was also a job hopper. If you listened to her testimony, she was always a waitress at a different restaurant. I guess it worked to her advantage where she could quit the job and move to the next one.

Not only did he not pay for lunch, he argued w the waitress over his bill for a drink he claimed he didn't order. He kept reorienting himself around this large table and every time he was in earshot I turned my back and ignored him and talked to the person next to me. He literally followed us out of the courthouse and tagged along to the restaurant. Weird but not the first time this has happened. But the last. As I told the much younger Katie "just because someone wants something from you does not mean you have to give it".

I drove down yesterday specifically to see Katie and how she was doing and these other ladies had attached themself to her tagging along. One turned to me and asked "now who are the Hughes?". I turned to Katie and said "these wowen are not coming with us to lunch" then took care of it. My opinion is if you d invited yourself better be prepared to be uninvited. No more playing at this stage...I don't care if I'm perceived as impolite. To me tagging along and horning inis what's rude so I'm flexing my boundaries muscle

Geez. That's not rude, it's beyond rude. Whatever that word would be. I would never have the nerve to do something like that.

Jodi Arias - Travis Alexander 911 Call - YouTube

I totally think she knew that they would know it was her, my theory is that she originally planned a clean kill in the shower and to take his body and dispose of it leaving no evidence, no crime, and no tracks of her ever being in Arizona, and solid alibis elsewhere. He got out of the shower and it turned into a bloody kill crime scene she could not clean up and hide, so she left him.

I don't care for them either,I just go there & read the thread.I don't watch them

Oh I wasn't criticizing. I know that most of the nation likes to watch them I personally don't get it. But I hate reality shows (I'm not normal)....I like Discovery Channel, Investigative Discovery, Military Channel....

I have bizarre tastes!

 • #1,369
Another thing, Jodi thought because she'd been there so much she did not need gloves. Her fingerprints would have been everywhere! Arrogance. Travis might have questioned the gloves when she was taking the pictures to "relax" him when she pulled the knife out from hiding it in her sweater or sock.
She also tried to explain her hair away, ...(lol, not bleached blond)...Flores told her that hair was bloody. She showed up in braids cause it contained that hair, but not all. Still wondering, why they didn't find more hair...after all that sex, sleeping and killing...those perfect looking braids in her (timer) naked pics.

I know this is speculation on my part, but re: that email that the Hughes sent, isn't it possible that they were trying to make Travis look as unattractive as possible to get her to just leave him alone?

I don't want to be one of those people who just think he was some kind of saint. I don't. I think he had a lot of issues. I just want the things said about him to be accurate.

 • #1,371
Yes, she wanted the easy way out. She was wanting the right man to take her under their wing so she can sponge off him. She targeted Travis.

Nope. She had her older sugar daddy DB to take care of her until a younger, sexier and more vibrant option came along.

I always take offense when a sibling claims they practically raised their younger siblings. Watching over younger siblings, changing a few diapers does not equal being a parent. Never has, never will.

It actually speaks volumes, doesn't it. More babies to take the attention away from her. What was her mother thinking (Jodi speak)???? ALV was there to interview her about DV in the family and Jodi gave her what ALV wanted to hear. If Jodi had already gone through 6 interviews with other experts on DV I bet she knew exactly what to tell ALV when ALV was ready to interview her. I'd love to know if Jodi read ALV's book prior to her interview with the expert. jmo

My favorite clip from the trial and I'm sure we'll see more on this in rebuttal.

Arias, the master criminal, sees fit to lie about the 3rd gas can and gets busted. Evidently, she thinks if she discards the 3rd receipt from Tesoro, the prosecutor will be unable to prove she has the 3rd gas can as she thought there would be no evidence of the 3rd gas purchase. And she used her credit card once at the Pasadena ARCO and paid cash for the other (2) gas purchases. Why didn't she do the same at the Tesoro in SLC ? Because the Tesoro was not open at 4 am for inside purchases ...

In hindsight, I wish JM would have asked Arias what happened to the gas in the cans to necessitate having to fill them again in Utah.

Not only is she a monster, she is a stupid monster ...

Not to mention she created her YouTube account on May 29, 2008. I'm thinking she was planning on uploading the sex tape if he didn't do what she wanted.

I am convinced that she recorded the sex-tape to blackmail him. I think his email about her being the worst thing that happened to him, about how she never cared about her, betrayed her had to do with the sex-tape. She thought he would submit to whatever she wanted (Cancun trip for one thing) at that point but Travis did not.

I think she showed up at his house on June 4th with the 'I'd like to return your money' and 'I'm sorry about the sex-tape' excuses.

Needless to say Travis believed her.

That's what I was wondering about (the bold text). Thank you.

The emails that ALV was interpreting as her opinion - those were the same emails that weren't in evidence because of hearsay, right? My understanding of that is not clear.

If those are the same emails, the DT must be more than desperate to have had ALV talk about them and open that can of worms. JM is going to have a field day.

BBM. Those emails are hearsay, but there is an exception under Rule 703 that allows ALV to talk about them if they were part of the basis of her testimony.

Jodi Arias - Travis Alexander 911 Call - YouTube

Jodi was pinned as the suspect right from the get-go. Did she not think this would happen once Travis was found?

i think she knew that, but being the magical thinker she is, i think she believed she could explain away a lot of things they'd find. she wasn't concerned about hair---she didn't know that a follicle wouldn't last several months though. she knew her prints would be there. she was ready with the 'i bathed the dog' excuse for anything found in the bathroom.

honestly, if she had just gone in, shot him and left, this case would be a lot different than it is. she stayed too long, she took those photos (and i think she left the camera on purpose but believed the photos would be unrecoverable after they went through the wash) and she cut herself. so much for the perfect crime she envisioned in her head.

I have always assumed the license plate was put upside once she got to Utah (or nearby) on purpose so she could get pulled over... since an upside down license plate is eye catching.... then laughed "oh my friends must be playing a joke on me" and then there, now its on record she was nowhere near Travis at that time.

What are your opinions? I didnt realize (i must be slow :blushing:)that it was thought she did that to not be noticed near Travis house. Wouldnt the upside down plate stand out more if thats the case?

I think she put the plate on upside down for the trip to Mesa, but I really only base that on one thing

In Jodi's interviews with Flores, when she's still denying she was in AZ, she tells him to "check the red light cameras, wouldn't they have seen me if I was there?" and he says "only if you ran a red light."

There's urban myth about upside down plates being unable to be read by photo cams at red lights. I think Jodi somehow thought they recorded every car that came through intersections and viola! hers wouldn't show up because of her fancy trick!

I don't think there's any way she would have suggested he check traffic cams unless she thought she had beat them. Who would have said that, 'check the red light cameras, I'm not there" if they didn't think they'd invented a failsafe way to prove a negative, that she wasn't there. (keeping in mind her ignorance about how the system worked)

It's sort of like taking your EZ pass off and paying cash at toll booths and then telling someone to check the EZ pass records, I wasn't there.

So it's only one sentence I base my opinion on, but when she said it, I went "whoa, why would anyone say that?" I thought it was a weird, notable statement in the interview.

My apologies if this has been brought up before.

I am watching the NG interrogation tape with Jodi and Detective Flores. He mentioned to her that he has heard the word obsession over and over pertaining to her behavior with Travis. Flores even says Fatal Attraction has been mentioned a few times.

Does anybody know if the jury heard this part of the tape?

Please...please say yes

I cant say I am 100% sure of all the times she had mentioned people calling her "obsessed" but i do know for sure a couple were played. she had mentioned hearing people say "obsessed" in a phone call to Flores. That was definately played in court. I want to say it was Day 7... but could of day 6? Also the Fatal attraction comment i know was played in court as well. I think that was on Day 7 too. During the interrogation tape when she was still insisting she wasnt there. It was during the same time she said about "morbid curiosity" in seeing the photos and also "If I did kill Travis, I would BEG for the death penalty.
