I think the worst that will happen is one juror could end up getting dismissed, the family and friends could be told to not wear ribbons or whatever. If one juror can create such havoc as to influence the entire jury and all the other alternates (and who is who has not yet been determined), then this train was out of control long before a few people posed with Mr. Prosecutor on the steps of the courthouse last week.

If the jurors aren't involved in this somehow...I sure as HELL hope they keep them updated.

I would be literally furious! You called me in an hour early, and now we are 90 minutes LATE!!!

HLN is talking about how AZ has a "Victim's Bill of Rights". It gives the family of the victim, the right to be present in any and all meetings.

Hln is also reporting
Nancy grace will play videos of TA funeral.

I'm thinking today is done. They are going to go to lunch soon, then probably back to chambers. :sigh:

I agree. I would be shocked if she pleads.

Jodi doesn't stick to a lie very long. They're very short lived like the relationships we've heard about.

I believe it's possible Jodi will tire of this current lie game and move on to a something else.

Judge S should let the jurors eat NOW instead of taking another 1.5 hr lunch.

I would imagine they would all be in different rooms but your guess is as good as mine as to what's up. #JodiArias

To clarify, yes #JodiArias and Travis' family went back behind the door. I have been told there is just a hallway there.

How large are chambers? I cant imagine TA's siblings, JA, her mom, the prosecution and....Nurmi...all squeezed into a small room.

I bet the tension is high in there.

This is beyond maddening!

What are the jurors doing during all of this...still waiting in the jury room? Do they even know what the delay is?

  • #531
Well I'm gonna start making cookies. There's nothing better to do right now. :sigh:

I wish I could eat! My entire crew got a stomach virus 2 days before Easter & even making lunch for my 4 yo made me break out in a cold sweat. I'M STARVING!!!

My sweet DH told me if I'm doing well on Friday, he'll get me a Schlotzky's. I know--we're low rent around here.

*Rubs Retinol on face.*

On a happier note, I am glad the family is in chambers. I am glad they are allowed to be involved in whatever is going on.

Juan has been such an advocate for them. Anytime Jodi is allowed to be someplace he motions for the family to be allowed as well. So this really could be anything and the family is there becuase Jodi is. Why it's not being done in the courtroom is really the bizarre part. They do things with out having the Jury inside of the courtroom a lot so I think the fact that it's behind closed doors really has people shaken up.

I know I am.
I guess the other option would have been to turn off the cameras and empty the courtroom. She's done that before. So, hummm?

Wonder what the jury is doing after getting to court early? "Bored" games maybe?
Par"say cheese"ee?
Monopolize our lives?
Candyland?
Shoots and Stabbers?
Life?
Nurmicube?

Casey Anthony. Casey = KC

Appeal denied? Is that true? If so, great news. Now she can't hide behind 5th amendment to keep from deposition and testifying in civil case!

Casey Anthony. She tried to have her other two lying convictions thrown out. DENIED!

Still OT - sorry.

Did she get permission to keep her book money re the bankruptcy case?

T-minus1 hr 4 minutes for lunchtime in AZ

A TH just said that in AZ there is a victim's rights act that allows the victims to be present when the defendant is in closed door meetings with the judge or Prosecutor.

Thank goodness the family has Juan to guide them through the processes. I am confident that he advised them to keep their composure. I sure hope they can keep their eye on the long ball; and keep in perspective that whatever pain and frustration they may be feeling will not be in vain when the verdict is rendered.

She did say that if she'd done it, she would beg for the death penalty.

Of course, it would be the biggest shock of my life if she did, but I can dream. ;)

I think Juan should play that tape in the very end!
