I'm pulling up my chair to the WS table. Good morning all!

Pure speculation, but maybe Juror 5's alleged remarks in front of the other jurors were something about compassion for TA's family and how it is hard to see them grieving in the front row. Maybe the judge is going over this with the family. Personally I don't think they have shown any inappropriate degree of grief but maybe the judge is gently explaining to them that the defense may try to make their grief a reason for mistrial so they should try to tone it down even more than they have?

I think it's more than that. They wouldn't need Jodi in chambers for that type of discussion. It would be ridiculous to have her back there for that. It is most definitely more than just that.

Would it be too much of a miracle for me to think Jodi could have decided to address the family, apologize, and plead for LWOP? I could totally live with that.

I realize I have a better chance of winning the MegaLotto...

I was thinking that, or that there is a mistrial and instead of doing the whole thing over, JA wants to plead guilty for LWOP. Let's just hope it's, at the most, juror 5 is removed. JA deserves nothing less than the death penalty!!

One thing that has amazed me during this trial: the absolute stoicism of TA's family. Admirable and heart-wrenching. I really hope they're not getting any flack for their behavior because I think it's above reproach.

I also doubt that they're in the same room with JA. Can you imagine?

“@ediesteen: #jodiarias Twitter is going to explode if they don't hurry and come out of chambers!!! ”

I would like to add to that so is WS.

WildAboutTrial @WildAboutTrial
Just to recap, counsel, Travis' sisters and #JodiArias are in chambers with Judge Stephens. We are still waiting in an empty courtroom.

Arias is in the judges chambers WITH Travis' sisters????

I think she believes she can read lips and saw the juror say something - she and Wilmott always did their little whisper huddle in court looking toward the jury. I think Jodi has had it in for this juror for a while and just waited until she could accuse her of something. Jodi requested the juror be removed, it's in the motion.

Chambers together???

The only thing I heard about the juror #5 thing was that she asked Katie if she was standing in line and Katie answered no. This is the same BS move they pulled on JM giving autographs out front.

I don't ever want that. I want her to be convicted of first-degree murder. I want her to rot on death row.
I think 1st degree w/LWOP is all the State would accept. If Travis' family is cool with that, so am I.
