Me too, since females on AZ's death row have no realistic fear of being put to death. Would Jodi prefer the isolation of death row over LWOP with similar deviants? idk

i can not imagine the tension in that room. travis family must be saints to be able to walk in that room with jodi . the words spoken now must be shocking behind closed doors. can they really all agree on starting all over ? omg- thats a horrible thought. can jodi just say i want this over ? what the hell is going on in there? the judge better not be a wimp and let it all fall apart. omg- jodi you messed up so many lifes. do you know what happens next? can you for one second be real ?

I would much rather a mistrial than a plea deal. With a plea deal, Jodi gets the last word! I am not game for that!

Why I think Jodi woudl never ever plead

Guilty pleas eliminate all appeals. that's it, you're done. Even if JA doesn't get the death peanlty you can be sure she'll be appealing as long as she can.

It's about attention. No way that thing is going to do something that willl completely and forever remove her from the public eye.

It apparently came out when they were questioning the jurors after court on Thursday.

HLN reports this as if they know it's true. LOL. They weren't in there. They don't know.

This reminds me of a trial that IS covered a few years ago but Ican't remember the guys name. Darren somethingorother?? He had killed his ex wife in the garage I think. In the middle of the trial there was a morning like this. Everyone, even the TH, were like "wth??" and then the trial was over and he had plead guilty. He tried to take it back years later and was denied.

I'm thinking I'm just going to go nap. I've eaten a bowl of cherry yum yum, thingy of peeps, walked the dog, straightened up the living room, have to pork out to bake for supper, ran the dishwasher. I'm a nervous wreck!

Why would the judge allow a mistrial? Look what it's already cost the state of az so far.
All those tax payers dollars flushed, the large amount of money paid to those two experts. The money the defence has made off of this is unbelievable. moo

OK...I want to ask something.

HLN (sorry for using them as the basis for this though...LOL!!) is now saying that if the mistrial happens, and we have to start over, that the $1.4 million spent so far is wasted.

That doesn't make sense to me, based on what I know that $1.4 million stands for.

They wouldn't have to do all of the investigation, etc. all over again, right?

They just go with what they already have and start with a new jury, judge (????) and presenting what we have already seen, right?

They don't actually START ALL OVER and find new experts, new discoveries, etc.

RIGHT???????

I'm starting to wonder as well. I was sitting here for awhile thinking how dumb I was going to feel if they were just discussing the schedule for the next few weeks or something, but . . . . It's been an hour and a half, right? Don't like to speculate on what it is, but it has to be something big.
