The thing is, the woman, ALV, has gotten by all these years with her quasi-academic sounding, earthy woman, empathic sounding dribble. I think she believes it herself, and it's been rewarded for years. This may just be her house of cards falling, and falling quite far. Society has enabled her for a lifetime, so I wonder if she's at all aware of how wonky her whole trip is. I don't suffer fools well, but I almost feel sorry for her, as no one has bothered to set her to rights all this time.

I mean what is it about "do not talk" that people don't understand? Is it the age of social media we live in, where people (especially younger) think every tiny aspect of their lives need publishing? Is discretion a lost art?

I don't think I have heard the judge say once not to talk to fellow jurors even though she is suppose to. She says "anyone outside this trial". I am not making excuses for this juror because I am sure that if she did talk to one of them they told her not to. I am just saying the judge herself hasn't stated that or made that clear.

Boy, that surprise wake up vaginal sex sure moves around a lot - Jodi was upset that it was against her religion, and he was her 'spiritual guide', but not that there was no thought given to birth control? Or did he 'suit up' before the surprise?

I am way behind on page 36. I need to get this off my chest..... I don't think anyone should be too hard on juror #5 since we have no idea what she said. From all accounts from WS's trial watchers she was always very attentive, took lots of notes and asked questions. It could have been something very innocent and not meant as taken as anything more than an innocent remark, no malice intended. (been there, done that). I think the Judge had no choice except to dismiss her, in order for it not to come up on appeal. This woman put her life on hold and devoted 3 months of her life to this trial. I will HIGH FIVE her and thank her for her service. JMO

I think ALV's career has been all about "preaching to the choir". She delivers what her audience wants and expects.
This trial is high profile and her "message" is not being well received.
She needs to board the time machine and go back to her time.
