Although I'm only speaking for myself, can I say to the anti anti-dye people although JM's hair change is not too my liking I'm not about to start a campaign on change.org to make men's hair dye illegal. Perhaps people get used to reading into the meaning of things here. ;-)

This email exchange and ALV's work product and limits of her expert testimony have been the subject of quite a few motions and evidentiary hearings.

When JA's plea for a lesser charge was denied, she made it clear in a court filing that it was her intention to drag TA's name through the mud, accumulating collateral damage along the way. JM is trying to keep ALV on a short leash with her testimony. My impression of the PT and family today is that there was a lot of tension this morning, what with this looming in front of them and the motions being filed for mistrial.

ALV is really stretching it trying to paint her picture of JA in an abusive relationship. TA treats women badly by being a flirt. JA insecure in relationship in Jan. 07 and they have some email exchanges on this subject which ALV calls an argument??? Early Feb. more exclusive, so in comes learned helplessness. Valentine's presents are spiderman underpants and Travis Alexander's t-shirt (as per JA) with emphasis put on the apostrophe showing TA was possessive. OMG. I'm sure that the jury is not buying into this.

We also got to hear the story again about JA being woken up with TA penetrating her for vaginal sex. This story has never rung true to me. I don't care how soundly one sleeps...it does not make sense for penetration to have started and then you wake up. ALV goes on to say that JA stopped this because it was a sin. Yup, I'm buying that, hook, line and sinker.

JM, keep objecting and hold that leash tight.

ALV's outfit today may also work against her, dating her as still harkening back to decades ago and a hardline feminist view.

If this is the best she's got, things should be ok. Might be some stingers in there, but no real bombshells. MOO.

This is from Jeff Hughes (Chris Hughes' brother) I am posting with his permission.

Lets all hope that Sky Hughes gets called to testify for defense. She will tear them up! Trust the Hughes never liked Jodi. We all disliked her and feared her influence. Chris and Sky kicked her out of their house when she came once with TA and she was never permitted to come again. The encouragement to Travis from the Hughes's was to stay away for the B as she was bad news. We all knew she was evil and was trying to take TA to hell. She was a creepy disgusting presence in our circle of friends and associates. We all wanted her to crawl back into the hole she came out of and leave TA and our friends alone. I wish Travis had never met her. He was a pure. kind and good man who spent his days and night serving and doing good. To know him was to love him. JA was always just as you see her--- a manipulative, lying, sick B. Talking to her was just like when JM tries to pin her down. She is slippery like a snake and much more dangerous. (admin/C)

I feel for her but I kind of hope she can wait until the trial is over to speak. It might be just too easy for the defense to exploit anything she says in some way to get them closer to a mistrial - that would be so sad for all involved.

How would that happen though? The jury is admonished by the Judge not to watch or read anything about the case.

Ive seen other dismissed jurors speak out before and I haven't ever heard that it was a cause for a mistrial.

Getting that juror dismissed could backfire on the defense. The others could resent it, and the related delay in the proceedings. You never know.

They have all see the DT in action in Court. I'm sure the jury not only has Jodi's number but the DT's as well. I think they can put two and two together and realize that all the delays are only a result of Jodi and her defense.

Wow. I pray that Chris & Sky get to get on the stand and refute the utter garbage that Jodi & Co have squeezed out of ALV.

Don't get too attached to any particular juror -- the most important thing is that there are 12 remaining during deliberations, and that's why they started with 6 extra. Long trials usually have at least 1 or 2 jurors leaving for various reasons. As long as there is an intact jury and they can reach a verdict that is all anyone needs to focus on.

i agree #5 may not have been picked as part of the actual deliberating jurors. jmo

Anyone remember CourtTV used to be somewhat serious in their discussion about the case, during breaks or sidebars?

They also didn't encourage the steady stream of adjectives, or inserting the words "drama", "emotional", "jaw-dropping", "mind-blowing", or "stunning" into every sentence spoken by the host.

JMO, not trying to be offensive, but I get so tired of that.

Don't be so sure those middle age men are going to like being portrayed as "abusive", as per LV's definition of "men , as the Natural Abuser". It could backfire and work against the defense.

any else notice the narcissism in referring to the "realm of Jodi"... Its almost like she is saying that Abe's blossoming business, friends and "most likely" other female friends is a distant second compared to what he could have if Abe lived in the realm of Jodi.

She is creepy and demented.
