I just don't see how this testimony carries any weight. It's all based on what Jodi tells her, and Jodi not only has a history of lying, but has a HUGE motive to lie. For the expert's opinion to hold any weight at all, the jury would have to believe that Jodi isn't lying.

It's just basically her saying what Jodi told her. She has no real insight or inside knowledge.

I can't wait to see Juan on cross.

^^^^^^^^ So very True!!! I agree with everything ^^^^^^

If anything convinces the jury to come back with a super quick (less than a day) verdict this trashing of Travis will be it.

Hypothetically, would an escalator STOP if somebody cut off the power and moved the mall 1000 miles away?!?

There is no cycle of abuse... Just a psycho of abuse ! Keep talking about all the Arias of abuse....
Blah blah

Oh boy, thanks ALV for telling us how selfless JA was for leaving Mesa "she was looking out for his healing and her healing."

It's like really bad dialogue for a TeleNovela.

Novelas are more believable!!!! And at least the women are beautiful!! :floorlaugh: My Mother-in-law & Sister-in-law watch.

Can someone tell me how many days the prosecution case lasted and how many days so far the defense has been boring us with this dribble? It seems they are intent on dragging this on until Starbucks names a drink after Jodi or the world ends, whichever comes first.

It took the state 9 days to present their CIC.

This is day 31 for the Defense CIC.

When he had a lot of friends sleep over and he turned his bedroom over to the girls. He told Jodi there was no place for her to stay. She slept under the Christmas tree.

If it were my home, I would have made a phone call and had her removed from the premises. That is just wacko!

Without reading the 38 pages of prior posts (BTW, you guys are the BEST!!!), would anyone care to venture a guess as to when Juan will be up to bat?

I simply cannot wait. I purposely avoided the first hour of testimony...my version of fast forward! haha While I am grateful to be in March, I really wish we were in May at the very least.

So basically people come in for "couples counseling" and the woman leaves convinced that she is being abused........

Sounds about right

  • #1,071
OMG she actually said 'female perpetrators' quickly ....

ETA: I think that was in the context of past victimhood however.

  • #1,072
You can see why Travis did this (allegedly).

I have a feeling all the "abusive partners" (read MEN) of her female clients are doing the same thing.

he didn't buy me flowers for my BD! ABUSIVE!:furious:

fyi...today after commercial segments, HLN is playing more videos of Flores' interrogations with JA's parents, just wow. They are playing way more than the brief 2 clips Dr. Drew shared last night.

Go HERE http://www.youtube.com/user/crimewriter74?feature=watch
and you can watch them ALL full unedited vids of every interrogation!

[ETA. I think they are there. David seems to have EVERYTHING]

I am going back to my days of practicing as an Addiction Specialist, boy this case has really challenged going over 23 years of clients/patients.

I am having such a hard time... using clinical cases, with some of her declarations. There is a tremendously high percentage (85% - 90%) where alcohol and/or drugs are involved in abuse. Thus, I have seen a lot (more than I wish) of abused people.

I can not remember one abused person telling me they wish to stay. I always heard they would give anything to leave but I can't because I am afraid of the person's violence and/or I don't have the finances to do so.

Fear can't provoke anger.. However, Anger/rage does a pretty darn good of causing violence all by itself. The underlying emotion is fear.. Yet the coping / learned emotion that "works" is Anger/rage.

Now fear is just the opposite with less impact because fear keeps people frozen and inept. If that makes any sense.

This is an overall memory review not specifics just going over 23 years while listening to her testimony especially testifying "counseling stuff".

I just wanted to thank you for this information in (type) writing as opposed to simply clicking 'thank you'.

Thank you.

Premed is a given because just changing weapons from knife to gun is enough.

I believe when all is said and done, the whole damn thing will rest on that one statement.

Which is one reason why this on and on and on and on and on and on is so frustrating, unreasonable, stupid, cruel..........

Jose Baez thought that he would become a star defender or get his own TV gig following the CA trial. Didn't happen. Baez is probably as hated as is his defendant. Same thing will happen with Nurmi and Wilmott. They'll do the usual round of talk shows following the trial, maybe one or both of them will write a book: Defending Jodi Arias, but that will be it. No stardom for either of them. :moo:

I was so pissed when they put Baez on the After Hours show. Come on. He's not an expert on anything.

States case in chief = 9 days
Defense case in chief = 31 days and counting

ETA: Witnesses called by the state = 20
Witnessed called by the defense so far = 10

But wasn't her plan to help him heal from his alleged pedophilia by having sex with him? So when she moved she wasn't really interested in healing him from that anymore?
