YES. In her journal she said Travis was so stressed out he wanted to buy a gun and shoot himself in the head. AND Jodi calmed him ever so gently yada yada yada I hate that <modsnip>

He has her diaries. I wonder why he didn't bring this up when he was cross examining her. I don't know how he can get this in in rebuttal. Maybe with his own expert or with Flores.

My thinking is that they were not admissible. So.... he waited for the door to open and it did to some extent thanks to the DT witness. Now he can discuss and discredit a lot of what ALV has said.

Not watching HLN but are you paraphrasing that JA wrote that Travis wanted to buy a gun? When did she write this? I thought she said he had that gun for as long as she was "cleaning" his house?

And isn't this the second reference to Travis and a gun pointed at his head? Chilling considering what eventually happened to him.

That would be a way for Juan to bring in the "marriage to TA" stuff that Jodi was telling her dad and Angela...
But, I don't think witnesses are allowed as spectators in the courtroom -so probably not....hmmmm....
I do think there is more to Juan's opening cross of Jodi though about the"dumb sister..."
I think he might have damning evidence that she provided...maybe?...

Yes I believe her mom has much knowledge. Jodi's mom said to Det Flores that she did not knew if she had a gun. But the day she was arrested she asked the police about the gun Jodi hid in the rental car. I am sorry I don't believe her mom.

Is it possible that the court already determined what we're seeing is fabricated and won't allow them in?

If media filed a FOIA request, that means these were in the hands of the police, courts, etc. These were obviously the diaries Jodi wanted the police to see, so I can't see them hidden by Jodi and sold to the media by whoever was holding them for Jodi. Or found them.

I think someone has already determined we're not going to be seeing these at trial.
