Since it's pretty obvious she had been planning this murder, I hope the jury realizes ALL the journal nonsense could easily have been fabricated to make her look innocent. This is NOT complicated stuff.

Diane Downs also fabricated journals--not after the fact, but once she had made the decision to kill her kids. There was an obvious turning point in her journal, what had been all about her obsession with her lover, suddenly, about 10 days before she shot them, became all about how much she loved her kids.

And she bought a unicorn and had it engraved.
