I agree! JW seemed to sweep it under the rug, so to speak as in "misunderstanding? totally understandable Miss ALV" is the interpretation I got.
I hope the jury caught that too.

Interesting that she and Samuels both have fallen on their proverbial swords for JA -- Samuels did the same thing with the rope around her hands and ankles. They would both rather look very unprofessional and have all their notes called into question (what else did they write that stemmed from their own assumptions and not from JA said?) rather than contribute to JA's appearance as a liar.

Thank you. I only discovered my talent about five years ago. I took a class with one of my daughters and found out I could paint. But I can only paint things that interest me. JA's art is pretty, but like her: there's some spark missing.

Sorry if this has been asked, but does anyone think the fact that the booting of juror #5, who was known to submit many questions, has intimidated remaining jurors into not submitting questions? Or are they simply going to ignore ALV and, hence, do not NEED to ask any questions?

OK I just watched that video and WOW that is SO phoney baloney!!!

The details in that part of her journal may be accurate but there's NO WAY she was talking about anyone but herself. She twists everything around, projects like crazy, and had to have written that bs after she butchered Travis.:furious:

My extensive knowledge of IBS comes from The Sopranos and the character - Adriana. When she was helping out the FBI, her IBS was horrible. Based on that, I might qualify for expert testiphony on the subject.

It would not surprise me if IBS is the cause of her distress. When the body decides that a full-scale evacuation of the digestive tract is called for, it sends an All-Hands-On-Deck emergency summons for water from other parts of the body to be diverted to the intestines, causing the entire body to not feel so good as a result of the sudden dehydration.

I kept a journal when I was married to an abusive alcoholic. He had me convinced every fight we had was my fault. So I started to keep a journal of everything that happened. I kept it at work because I knew it was a risk. It didn't take long for me to figure out I wasn't the problem. My life was definitely not boring. Even now (15 years later) I don't want people to know what went on. I burned it when I finally got away from him.

Same here...only mine was with an abusive drug addict...after I got away and got a real life I found it one day and shook my head in shame for myself while reading it that I allowed someone to have me so completely under their control...Hello to a fellow survivor !

I've noticed as the weeks have passed, JA has become more and more comfortable in the courtroom.
This past few days Ive seen the predator in her come out, with the staring and having the mitigation woman and JW all pandering to her.
Noticeably, Nurmi has not. Was it him who had a death in the family recently? He just doesn't look interested..

I've been sick as a dog for a week...flash sweating, fever, horrid cough, weakness, dizziness, constant sneezing and feeling generally like I want to die. AND, I had to fly home yesterday feeling this way! I just basically crawled onto the plane and curled up in a ball by a window. And, DANG IT, I am HERE!!! Let's get this torturous trial over with!
