Well, unless I'm mistaken (its happened once or twice before), "snapping" is not a legal defense; therefore, I'd have to ask the NP to answer a simple question and that is, "is JA guilty or not guilty"?

If she were to answer, "not guilty", then she is clearly in her correct line of work and should stay away from any legal work.

People "snap" all the time. In fact, it is such a normal human action, that it is infantile and we all (have to) learn to control it. It's a huge sign of mental maturity; unfortunately, many of us do not learn to control our tempers, rages, or "snapping"; and we are held responsible.

Responsibility is hard for many to swallow. Those that get it and learn to accept it, will do fine in life. Those that do not get it, will be forced to 'get-it'; one way or another. We, as a society, must hold each other accountable and stop the blame-everyone-but-me train!

Who cares if JA "snapped"? I don't. I just want to be sure she is held accountable for "snapping".

If we were all given the freedom (read: excuse) to "snap", when ever we felt we were mistreated, we'd live in a very different environment. I know I don't ever want to live in that environment.

Perhaps she would have understood if you snapped and slapped the chit out of her?

Well, all I can say is that I now know I'm a serial abuser. First, my wife and I had a disagreement over the thread count we should get on new sheets, and I prevailed at 600 count. We didn't talk for about 3 1/2 minutes. Then, I bought her flowers on Valentine's Day (honeymoon period). Then, I asserted, quite firmly, that I preferred the Laker game over Modern Family. I had to go downstairs and watch the game on another TV, and we were separated for about 3 hours (re-emergence of the abuse cycle). And, then she came downstairs and we watched the Tonight Show together (honeymoon period).

After hearing ALV, I had to apologize for all of my abusive behavior over the last several weeks. I am truly sorry that I did not recognize my abhorrent behavior until now. :facepalm: Thank god my wife is not a sociopath.:great:

Diane Downs also fabricated journals--not after the fact, but once she had made the decision to kill her kids. There was an obvious turning point in her journal, what had been all about her obsession with her lover, suddenly, about 10 days before she shot them, became all about how much she loved her kids.

This all from the same person that wrote in her journal about TA after his death, the journal is a record of her alternate reality in many ways.

Is that the real quote? I want to see that again. Because if she wrote that he said he wanted to buy a gun to shoot himself, this is a major blunder. Iirc, that entry was from Feb. 2008 and she had supposedly seen his gun by then.

I am just going to go with the post I posted earlier, that was to the point and concise. I am just fed UP with this judge and her inability to control the courtroom. The taxpayers have a RIGHT to expect the authorities that are in the positions of power that are spending their tax money to use it WISELY and effectively. When they FAIL miserable at doing so, they need to held in CHECK for this. There is absolutely NO excuse for not having court 5-6 days a week and running court from 8 AM to 5-6 PM every day except Sundays and I would even go one further and say to run on Sundays. Judge Stephens has allowed the Defense to run Roughshot all over this court, IMO they are intentionally delaying this trial and therefore wasting more of the Taxpayers Money.
