I guess I might as well take my thoughts as far as they've gone....

I have to admit that what terrified me most in all these years since that episode is wondering what would have happened had I been holding a knife or a gun.... I have never been so not in control of myself ever before. My own fist was not 'my own' at that moment. Had I had anything in my hand, I might not be typing here tonight. Before it happened to me, I couldn't begin to comprehend the process involved in physical touching or hurting another person without at least a split second of intent.
My life could have turned into a terrifying ordeal for all of us, him, me, my children, his family. I cannot even imagine.
But it didn't, thank goodness. :cheer:

I still can't believe Jean gets paid to give her opinion on this trial or current events...:twocents:

seems to be she wants to insert herself into situations that don't really concern her personally.

like with the whole juror/jm comment. she inserted herself into that and testified.

This sounds like it could have been a diabetic response due to insulin too low/too high.

I'm no doctor, but I do have diabetes. I sometimes suffer from the sweats, weakness, feeling faint. It can be quickly overcome though if you know what to do for yourself. She might have just needed her meds and food.

I really hope it's not a heart attack or stroke. She needs to have seen a doctor today, hope she did.

Still, one has to wonder what would happen to the trial if this were the case? What if she is hospitalized for weeks or a month? What if her doctor advises her to do no more testimony? Too stressful perhaps?
My initial impression is the stress of attempting to testify for THIS DEFENSE has gotten to her. Hopefully her illness isn't anything serious and she can continue her testimony. Have no idea what the options are if she cannot.

MOO

I LOVE the vitriol that the lady on Nancy Grace is giving ALV....I feel the same way.

I emailed Dr. Drew Show earlier and they JUST called me back to be on the show later about the issues with the Judge! YES!!!

Gosh, I hope that isn't cause for a mistrial.

WHAT?! (BBM)

When she was 13?! JA and I are about the same age, and when I was 13, I was still playing with my barbies and pretending I was a yard fairy. It blows my mind that there are kids out there like this.

And many are here at their ages now in their 50's and 60's posting at Websleuths! :D no offense taken, marijuana ... Yeah, some areas of the country in certain demographics, yes it was done at that early an age.

 and we, I mean they! Turned out okay as responsible adults. hard to believe isn't it.

Minor . . . JM needs to have this information! . . . . this would be awesome to bring into court in her own words from her own diary.

Are you sure JA said he had the gun in 2007? I thought it was Jan 2008 she knew?

This issue about TA borrowing money from Jodi keeps coming up. WTH, where are her bank records?

No kidding...that lie could easily be dispelled.

where are her transcripts of her "cray cray"? friens? Her parents know it..

ok so is anyone else thinking her mom knows more? Maybe she is in court everyday making sure not too much comes out. I wonder to what extent she helped Jodi?

BBM Um. Is the Pope Catholic?
I think she told Mom where to find all the things that needed to be destroy asap.

Lol, I'm loving how HLN is having this ridiculous sorority girl voice to read her journals.

I know ... me too... sounds like she is reading to a bunch of pre-schoolers...

After I heard that one about lovingly, soothingly calmed him down blah blah, I have to give this possibility some consideration. Who the heck writes that about themselves in their diary?

The clincher for me was when JA asked Det. Flores if they had found her journals....she clearly wanted those journals found. I also think the plan to kill TA was in the works much longer than I originally thought. Maybe not in it's final draft, but the concept was out there, flying around in her head for longer than I ever thought...

The person reading these journal entries aloud on the show is kind of amusing "Smileeeyyy faceee".. "frowwwny faaace"... lol. Sounds like the maturity level of what goes through JA's mind..

If the subject matter wasn't so serious I could totally see an SNL skit where famous people would read from JA's diaries...

I wonder if the "loan" was really her repaying him money he had previously lent her and her got into a bad place and needed it back. In her world that would be her giving him money.
I also am wondering about the timing. Wasn't this around the time he was going out with Mimi? My theory is that when Travis became interested in Mimi and stated that she would be a good wife, or something else about her being marriage material, that she became so jealous of Mimi and fearful that Travis was going to marry her and she couldn't let that happen. I wonder if that isn't when she first started to think about killing him and her journal entries were done with the knowledge that they would be read by police so she was putting all this fantasy down for their benefit, much like she did after she killed Travis and then wrote in her journal as if she were in shock after learning he was dead. And during the interrogation she sure seemed anxious for the police to get their hands on her journals, even telling them they where they were. Who does that unless she knew that what was in there could help prove that she wasn't jealous and had no reason to kill Travis?
And the fact that she had well over a month between the killing and her arrest to doctor up her journal and remove anything that might make her look bad. As soon as I heard about the missing pages I knew that Travis didn't remove them, she did after the killing because they had things on them that could incriminate her.

If any of this can be proven outside of tabloids....i would love to see it.

The national enquirer stated that Jodi's mother delivered the letters and said it was her daughters last chance for hope. I don't know what other proof you may need. They said they got the letters from her. The only thing that might further proved this for you might be a video of her walking in with the letters. I don't think they lied about this.
