I'm so glad they cut Alyce off. LOL... She was just about to say that Travis said how beautiful JA was. The camera zoomed on JA and she had this smirck on her face. She is absolutely disgusting.

I'm praying the Jurors are seeing right through this but after the FCA trial who knows..

Jodi really should not wear anything that is the color of blood. MOO

I have never found Jodi attractive like some have even when she was dating Travis but good grief she looks downright homely today.

imo

I think this line of questioning (leading) is to suggest that JA was showing signs of being able to move on, and definitely was not jealous. It was TA who was jealous, not JA. It is setting up the background to prove JA was not in a jealous rage when she killed TA. Which is what most think.

Jurors gone to lunch. Nurmi's once again protesting media coverage. Wants sequestration.

  • #1,506
Nurmi asking again now for jury to be sequestered due to video of JA parent's release last night. Also due to release of JA journals. Arguing now during lunch without jury present. Nurmi saying info running ad nauseum in the media. Says "fiction" that jury is not seeing any of this.

UGHGHHHHGHGHUUUGHH I CANNOT watch Donovan rolling her eyes and shaking her head again.

they are replaying stuff on wild about trial?

i love their little tweets...

WildAboutTrial @WildAboutTrial
Willmott points out that the word "shiz" actually means "*****". This shows that Willmott is "down". #JodiArias

What a cute girlie smile JA just shot off to her BFF Donovan. How special.

Can someone give me the odds of JM coming on today?

OH GOD!! NURMI IS ASKING FOR SEQUESTRATION AGAIN!!!

:seeya: I will bet ALL of your emu's :floorlaugh: that Mr. Martinez does not get to cross today ...

Oh, I don't have any emu's ...

LOL !

this Donovan chick needs to GO!! Something is fishy....

I agree. There's something up. She'll run and tell the defense she saw so-and-so talking to so-and-so and it didn't look quite right to her. There will be a new motion later. :waiting:

Also, Nurmi better watch his P's and Q's when he speaks about the jury. They hold his client's life in their hands, literally. I'm sure they wouldn't take kindly to being called liars.

Are they replaying this?

  • #1,513
If the jury is not supposed to watch anything on TV regarding this case, then why is Nurmi assuming they are. Without evidence, this Motion is ridiculous.

  • #1,514
Whoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nurmi... is really trying here!

  • #1,515
So SICK of JA's smirking today and just now as JM was walking back to the table after the sidebar she was watching him with the most evil look....1st time I have really seen that. Scary!!!!:what:

Have you caught her smiles and facial interchanges with her bud behind her, DB??

  • #1,516
Nurmi is using exact same verbiage from this morning.

  • #1,517
"IF we are to believe this fiction that the jury isn't seeing all of this media."

And we're supposed to believe all your fiction, Nurmi?

  • #1,518
what? is this a repeat?

DT will drag 'it' at least after lunch, because they are trying to bring in an additional witness/motion for mistrial (?), which the judge will look at during lunch hour :furious:

All these Motions for Mistrial make the defense team look desperate IMO. They honestly must know this trial is not looking good for them. I'd really like to know who the next witness is.

I remember in the Scott/Laci Peterson trial we had the witness list and knew who (if anybody) would be called next. Maybe that's due to the difference of California and Arizona laws?

So here we have:

A FEMALE Murderer, being defended by
A FEMALE Attorney, examining
A FEMALE DV "Expert", in front of
A FEMALE Judge, all for the purposes of slandering
A MALE DV Murder Victim

Is this what the Suffragettes were fighting for 100 years ago? I think not.

The 4 women listed above have formed a twisted sisterhood (more like a cabal) to besmirch an innocent man and have us believe that MEN are the root of all evil... as though the MURDER VICTIM deserved to be slaughtered. They should all be extremely ashamed of themselves.

I have no words for how this distorted picture of Female Empowerment is breaking my heart. The feminist movement was about equal rights for women, not a blanket indictment of men. At least two of the above women (attorney and judge) have benefited from the fight that women waged 40 years ago, and one other (the DV "expert") found her calling from a very legitimate offshoot of that fight.... the fourth (the murderer) shouldn't be included in the female species, period....

And now watching this unbalanced, unfair witch hunt is making me feel as though there is nothing "equal" about what's going on. One the one hand I could look at this and say "Yay for women! We can be judges, lawyers, astronauts and murderers too!" One the other hand, well... imagine if this was 4 MEN smirking, guffawing and LYING their way through a rape/murder case, painting the dead (female) rape victim as "easy" or "dressing like she wanted it"; imagine some neanderthal MAN pontificating about the rape victim's journals, e-mails, texts, giving his "impressions" of her state of mind.

I know that used to happen in the olden days but there has got to be some middle ground - I don't like the message this is sending.

I'm rambling and can't get a clear through-line for my thoughts right now because this is all very upsetting. Maybe someone else out there can verbalize what I'm feeling. Thanks for letting me vent.
