I see Juan as the medium for Travis' voice. I have no problems with how he handles his side of the case. I would be pretty enraged if I were the true victim and was dragged through the mud, unable to speak for myself!

i love JM but why didnt he just say YES IM MAD based on only the word of the killer you TRASHED the real victim here!! i wish he would have said that or something like that.

He didn't say he wasn't mad---he just said " does it make a difference to your testimony?"

I thought that was the perfect question in response. JMO

No, that's juror number 5.

In the smaller picture you can see Alyce with the two ladies - in the live feed I saw Alyce in the blue jacket laugh with them and put her arm around one of them... then the camera panned to juror #5

It was an unexpected boon to Juan that LaViolette said "Are you angry with me, Mr. Martinez?"

Not only can she make Snow White (or Jodi Arias) into a battered woman (for the right price), but she can also make prosecutor Juan Martinez (or victim Travis Alexander) into an abusive man.

She's a woman of many talents (for the right price).

Hiya Puff!:seeya:

ITA with the above..IMO what's happening btwn her and Juan hasn't a single thing to do with her dislike for men(if she does even have a dislike for men).. the sex or gender of the sparring mate is irrelevant.. she is quite simply infuriated period that she's being exposed for her true self..(ie.the not as smart, not as intelligent, not as all-knowing version of herself) that she's attempted to masquerade around as in this courtroom for days on end..being exposed IMO isn't fun or enjoyable no matter who the one is that is doing the exposing..and IMO that uncomfortable hotseat that her tookus is on is growing only hotter by the moment..

Go Juan, Go!..I may just have to go get me a cane myself so as to have my Mr. Juanderful sign it..lol..of course ONLY AFTER the jury hands down that guilty verdict on dear Jodi;)

I think that he's a kickass prosecutor and any victim or victim's family should hope to be so lucky as to have such a fierce advocate.

And HI BACK! :seeya:

She's giving an interview in the parking lot... or at least speaking to someone in the media. She's in her vehicle, window rolled down, speaking it appears.

Hopefully saying "no comment".

She sure did!!

And you can bet your boots *that* little trial snippet will end up as an endless loop on the internets. Way to sink your own boat Alyce.

JA bff since childhood on Nancy Grace right now, taking calls

No, that's juror number 5.

When Alyce was walking out, she was talking to the laughing ladies and they had their arms around her. Juror #5 remained sitted until the clerk came over and they sat and talked for quite bit before the seal came up.

NG introducing old childhood friend of Jodi's. Her name is Patty coming through on a phone call. Patty visited Jodi behind bars. Jodi was a bridesmaid at Patty's wedding.

Patty starts crying when asked about going to visit Jodi behind bars. Surreal and heartbreaking.

JVM implies that there might be concern that ALV is more elderly or something about gender, and asks whether Juan should go easy on her. That is insulting implying people of certain age or gender are fragile.

Funny how she was perfectly comfortable trashing Travis based on nothing but Jodi's word for days on end and now she is a delicate flower how can't handle being challenged on her BS? I know the TH's are paid to rise these questions but it is an insult to all our intelligence

Arias' journals: I had a dream last night...one person was charged with Travis' murder..the other person was charged with conspiracy." I hadn't heard that one yet!! Some of our "another person on the grassy knoll" posters may be right! Where is Matt!?"

The date of this journal entry?

I think she is trying to figure out how to get out with a bazillion press coming at her. Perhaps she should have thought this through.

I'm happy she showed up today but I really hope she doesn't come back next week. I'm sure she felt embarrassed about getting kicked off so her appearance today may have been just what she needed. But it's too close to the end and the DT is beyond desperate....,

Once upon a time there was a Prosecutor....

...who convicted Jodi Arias of 1st degree murder. Then one day he met Princesspjs and fell madly in love and they lived in complete happiness for the rest of their lives.

The end.
:great:

Anyone know why on wild about trial live stream the trial from earlier is being replayed and rewound? It's weird! Just got out of the shower and forgot to exit and it was playing.. Same stream as AZCENTRAL thanks! :)
Eta it kept repeating a clip of juror #5 in the gallery.... Weird!

I see him equating the fairy tale and how it fits to so many things. I love it.

It was brilliant.

I loved it too and understood why he brought it up.
