Juan purposly went the Snow White route as he knew there was only 30+/- minutes left before the DT's long weekend "attempt to prepare" ALV.
We all saw the confused looks on ALV, Nurmi & Willmotts faces....
Even the TH's questioned where he was going.
Total confusion!
That is EXACTLY what Juan wanted...
and so eloquently accomplished.

Oh and JA's greazy hair.

That "All American Girl Next Door Look"
works best when hair is.... clean.

She's got "The ******-its".

IMO
It'll get worse..

Because most abused women do not recognize the extreme danger they are in, even if they voice it. My friend made me executor of her will. On some level she knew she was in danger. I begged her not to go back to her home state where he was. She went back. Two months later she was dead.

IMO

Ao she didn't recognize the extreme danger she was in, but you think she brought a gun along to protect herself from Travis "just in case." What. Who left with no injuries and who ended up being killed 3 times over?

  • #683
I'm in the "gun first" camp so that doesn't apply to me. And you ignore the other damning piece of evidence for premeditated homicide. Her attempt at creating a cell phone alibi and her subsequent attempt at covering up the time gap in said alibi with a voice mail message to dead Travis ("my cell phone died and I got lost driving miles in the wrong direction").

And if she brought the gun for protection, why stage a burglary? Why not just take the gun with her? She would only need to stage a burglary if she had planned on something sinister with the gun. The phantom burglar gave her an alibi. Your theory holds no water.

Travis wasn't an angel. A cheat and womanizer. But that doesn't just wash away all the evidence for premeditation in this case.

A woman can be a "🤬🤬🤬🤬" with rape fantasies (as Jodi is) and still be raped.

Gas cans.....don't forget the gas cans.

Southern....I'm going to take a deep breath and hit that IGNORE button. :banghead:

Me, too, my friend!

I'm off to watch "Snow White" and to say a prayer for Travis and his family.... you know, the real victims in all this! Nite nite, everyone! :offtobed:

Wow. Just.

He also called himself a sociopath. Did you hear that?

If you really think someone is a sociopath, you would do well to not tell them, but just fold up your tent and silently sneak away. What is the point of calling someone all the names he called her?

IMO
Do I even need to point out I called my ex a whole lot worse during our divorce? Hell, I even, after kicking him out of the house - opened a bank account he couldn't access to preserve my inheritance. State law = inheritance in a joint account is split 50/50 upon divorce. I had to get down and dirty to beat him at his own game. Had I not, I would've been left penniless and probably lost custody to him as well.

I even (rather foolishly, tbh) screamed at him on our front lawn to just go on and kill me already. I was just so, so sick and tired of threats, stalking, and intimidation by that point I was broaching true desperation.

How does one act when they're on the precipice of sanity and the person causing all the trouble just will not go away already, always knows just the right words to make you feel guilty or sorry for them, is watching you everywhere you go, creating false online personas to stalk you, threatens to expose your every shameful secret or sin to the world, or you fear your leaving, really leaving, might mean their suicide?

It's a pretty unpredictable and chaotic situation, leaving a psychopath for realz, and one is likely to feel an extreme range of seemingly uncontrollable emotions. I've actually stated several times Travis was really rather patient and his responses reasonable, all things considered.

You do realize you just made up a completely new story, a 4th story, and that it isn't what Jodi says happened, right?

I realize Jodi is probably not telling us the truth about anything. Or just parts of the truth, maybe.

It's one of the biggest weaknesses in her case.

And from my experiences many do find that courage to leave, move on and don't go back. I am very sorry for your friend, incredibly sad. My condolonces to you.

IMO jodi is most definitely not a victim of abuse.

How do you know she will be making faces at the jury?

That's like Nurmi calling all of the jurors liars for saying they've watched no media coverage of this trial.

Totally unfair.

Omg... when Nurmi said that I looked like this --->:what: except my face was frozen with my mouth open. The DT get's worse and worse day after day.

STRONGLY SUGGEST Y'ALL READ THE ABOVE POST

I could've TO'd 3 people in the last 7 minutes. Instead I removed the posts. Last warning. Heed the call.

This also applies to a purposeful attempt to gaslight a victim friendly forum then, beach?

It's deliberate and people are extremely angry. I'm not advocating foul language or vitriol, but this isn't a simple matter of disagreement. It's calculated provocation.

Yes, but what was he talking about? What had she done to deserve that tirade? We don't know, do we?

But, I have to assume ALV knows because she was able to comment on it being an extreme reaction.

A lot of the details are being kept away from us.

IMO

Assume? So we're still in fairytale land? Facts please.

:offtobed:

All y'all (:giggle:) behave, and listen to Beach!

I fully expect to see all y'all here on Monday! Nighty night! Sweet Dreams!

And most of the details are being kept out of course because they've been deemed to be "prejudicial" to the defendant.

I don't know about Melanie McGuire. I didn't follow that trial.

But, I've been saying repeatedly, why would you steal a gun to kill him with a knife?

I was all set to go with she used the gun first, no matter what the prosecutor says, and it jammed, until I heard ALV. Now, I'm totally set back and wondering if she had the gun with her because she was afraid of him. It would fit in with her not killing him immediately--that she never had any intention of killing him until things went wrong, one more time. ALV talks about the escalating level of apprehension and fear in the relationship. Scared people can become dangerous people.

IMO

What has happened is ALV has been effective when it comes to changing your opinion. How many jurors have been influenced by her testimony as well?

There were at least three lies of JA that I could count that ALV bought and used in forming her conclusion. I'm sure JM will point these out and more.

So it goes back to the question of did JA lie about the abuse? Would that change your mind?

Do you hear yourself? Is this not exactly what Travis, and not Jodi, did?

K'. I'm off to watch Snow White. G'nite.

So then how can you base any of AVL's testimony on reality? How is it relevant!
