I realize Jodi is probably not telling us the truth about anything. Or just parts of the truth, maybe.

It's one of the biggest weaknesses in her case.

JM Should challenge ALV on this, then, instead of pretending he can hurt her credentials--which he cannot.

I'd like to hear what she has to say about it.

She proved it today. She only memorized the pages the defense gave her.
RS read 1500 pages of her journal.

ALV only read certain pages. she said so herself.
Only the pages that paint TA in a bad light.

None of the ones that show how out of touch with reality she really was.

ALV is a PAID spokesperson for the defense. Of course she is saying it was an 'extreme' reaction.

Have you ever dated a sociopathic abuser? You might snap and send a tirade of texts in response too.

NONE of TA's other girlfriends ever reported any physical abuse by him. ONLY Jodi, who only reported said abuse, years after her arrest.

I'm still catching up. I can only say this about #5..... When she issued the statement yesterday about putting the trial first, etc.... We all read her statement, I had a bit of respect for her. Today I was disappointed in her. She completely nullified what she said yesterday. ALL of the attention was on her today. To the point that court was delayed, and the judge had to make a statement about her. Not bashing her, but if she meant what she said, she would have stayed home and watched. :twocents:

Im so tired and have no adult beverages to sip nor Emu wings to gnaw on...

Juan purposly went the Snow White route as he knew there was only 30+/- minutes left before the DT's long weekend "attempt to prepare" ALV.
We all saw the confused looks on ALV, Nurmi & Willmotts faces?
Even the TH's questioned where he was going.

Some stuff that is preducial to her is being kept out. For example I read a part of her journal last nigh t where she said she wanted to cut a circuit, make it lifeless or something to that effect when talking about breaking off with a bf.

Why hasn't JM brought in character witnesses to testify to TA character? Is he finished as far as his witnesses cause I think he could have brought in other's than what he has presented. Don't see any "new bomb shells" coming from JM..JMO

Because most abused women do not recognize the extreme danger they are in, even if they voice it. My friend made me executor of her will. On some level she knew she was in danger. I begged her not to go back to her home state where he was. She went back. Two months later she was dead.

She recognized danger enough to drive well out of her way, preparing and covering her tracks all along, to stab him 29 times, slash his throat, and then shoot him.

It's ashame that Travis wasn't able to recognize the danger that HE was in. If he had, perhaps he would still be alive today.

Jodi and her crooked team have most certainly bullied the truth and the victim... and in case anybody is unclear about who the victim is... his name is Travis.

Does anyone else see the lack of the "over kill" explanation as a real hole in defense. I thought ALV was being brought in primarily to explore the concept of JA still seeing TA as a threat after he was obviously unable to defend himself. Without that, didn't she have a responsibilty to withdraw when he was incapacitated?

Dr Horn testifies the gun shot first couldn't have happened otherwise TA wouldn't have defensive wounds.

NO jury questions for Doc Horn.

By no questions is the jury acknowledging his sequence of events?

If they have acknowledged that, how can they buy any of JA's story since she claims the gun shot first?

This might be unpopular but I would like Mr Martinez to go right for the meat of the case, get right to the point, capture and keep the Juries attention with a line of questions along the line more direct as to

why she thinks Jodi was abused by Travis

does she think anything Jodi did was abusive to travis..

Does she think sneaking around the house peeking in is ok.

How about hiding in his closet when you have moved out already.

Breaking up with him (while living in Yreka) then moving back 3 miles from his home (and don't say he begged her to come back there is no evidence)

how can you say any person is abusive with no evidence but the only person left alive

and on and on.. I could have skipped all the Snow White.. we need to bring this thing home with some specific things and raw emotion about the fact the man is dead, i'm growing old here.

I don't think it is unpopular but that would be too predictable, imo, and that is one thing Juan Martinez is not. He will get to meat, but on his terms. I love his style and I think he is brilliant in his approach.

DT is playing hardball, he has to throw 'em curve balls.

But she ONLY knows what the Defense Team gave her to study. She has a skewed view of Travis. She does not have these other facts.

What has happened is ALV has been effective when it comes to changing your opinion. How many jurors have been influenced by her testimony as well?

There were at least three lies of JA that I could count that ALV bought and used in forming her conclusion. I'm sure JM will point these out and more.

So then the question goes back to the back question of did JA lie about the abuse? Would that change your mind?

More than that. JA's journals are lies. What she told ALV were lies. And the texts are taken out of context so they're not reliable sources either.

She even cited an interview with Matt that she read!

It's ALL based on lies.
