On HLN, they are saying the PROSECUTION said that she put the license plates on upside down to avoid detection.

Is that true? Did the prosecutor lay that out specifically???

Because I find it VERY HARD to believe that's why she had them that way. I just can't believe that. ANYONE driving behind her at ANY point could have called the police about that.

Let alone have ANY sort of public peace officer pulling up behind her at ANY point would have caused her to be pulled over.

And to many people, things like that upside down mean SOS, HELP!!! Flags especially but really, anything upside down that is of legal importance like a license plate is a red flag.

Don't see it happening that way. OTOH, I don't believe for ONE SECOND that it was skateboarders either.

JA thought that the red-light camera took pictures of every car coming through an intersection. Urban myth says you can fool the camera by putting your plates upside down.

When she was being questioned by Flores and insisting she had NOT bee to AZ, she offered up this little gem: "check the red light cameras, you won't find my car because I wasn't there."

Now what kind of person offers up something like that, check the cameras, if she didn't think that she had beaten the system.

And I don't know too many people who wouod call the cops because the car in front of them had upside down plates. Peopoe don't call if registration is expired, do they?

Anyway, that's the heart of the "avoid detection" theory, she thought she was avoiding cameras.

I don't know why I'm surprised every single day at how late this court runs. I just keep thinking that the judge will start respecting the jury's time but I'm wrong every time. It's absurd.

Annette Funicello died.

I am actually relieved for her. She was in such a bad state physically. I am happy that she has been freed from that horrible disease and hope she is in a better place. :rose:

HOLD UP!!!

Anagrammy welcomed Juror #5.

Was that based on assumption she is here, since she said she won't be attending trial...

OR, has she stated she is in fact here???????
