ALV apparently didn't realize that the defense team provided her with cherry-picked documents from which she was to formulate her conclusions about JA. She has only them to blame for making her look foolish on the witness stand. :moo:

Then a professional should have stated that from the beginning.
"I can only base my opinion on what I was provided and I do not think it is appropriate for me to have an opinion based on partial documents without interviewing all involved parties".

I wish I had a dollar for every time she has said "Mr. Martinez". I think that is SO condescending and rude.... her way of saying, I'm better than you so don't think you can one-up me, buddy.

BAM: she met her when Jodi had been in jail for 4 years .... she so wasn't the first DV expert they wheeled in ...

She did coddle her!

Her answer on the apology makes sense, so JM should move on. I get it.

I agree! All Martinez is showing is that he knows nothing about establishing rapport for the purposes of evaluation.

For goodness, sake, Flores tried to establish rapport with Jodi!

Edited to add: I'm sure Martinez' own expert tried to establish rapport with Jodi for the purpose of evaluation.

I don't agree and I find it unethical. She wasn't a patient and she wasn't treating her. She was to evaluate her without her own biases.

Jodi wanted everyone to read her journal. It shows she did not watch the interview with Flores where JA mentions it.

IMO

I swear, if she says Mr. Martinez that way again, I am hopping the first flight to Arizona and slap the living carp out of her!!!

Wilmott needs to stop interrupting his flow.

She gave her manuals on how to act and speak like a dv victim.

Respect? What about Travis?

I am TRYING to have compassion for JA because she is SO MENTALLY ILL, but NOPE!
Can't do it. As she sits there flipping her hair, smirking and chatting with JW ...
ummm... no, no, no. Just can not manage it.

Someone who kills in self defense..this is a case of outright wanting to destroy someone..
he did call her all kinds of things and I think she was set off for sure to kill and nothing else mattered..

Ease up on yourself... she does not deserve an ounce of compassion from anyone! She is a cold-blooded murderer who knows d*mn well what she did. She is not mentally ill. She's a sick demented manipulator. They are two different things. Don't confuse her for somebody who is clinically insane.

It's because you have feelings for the defendant don't you!!

  • #1,318
Regardless of what they've done ... so that implies a fair bit of guilt doesn't it?

  • #1,319
Zsa I completely agree. I think Miss ALV thinks Travis deserved to be murdered.

Thank you for saying what I've been thinking today. Her words imply Travis deserved execution

this is so frustrating, she was paid nicely for her testiphoney. she never evaluated any of the people she has spoken about other than JA

I'm amazed that this respected "expert" will lie and avoid questions on JA's behalf, ok maybe not amazed, just disgusted.
